We
booked
two
boats
for
the
Sunset
Watersports
Safari
Ecotour
that
is
marketed
as
"family
fun".
Please
know...
I
am
writing
this
review
in
the
interest
of
educating
other
potential
customers
as
it
is
not
at
all
advertised
correctly.
We
learned
the
hard
way
that
this
tour
is
NOT
for
beginner
boaters
and
NOT
for
families!!!
It
is
a
high
speed
boat
excursion
on
open
water
for
expert
boaters...
not
the
"family
fun"
guided
tour
through
the
back-country
marketed
in
the
brochure
we
received
at
the
hotel.
Bridget
provided
a
brief
boating
tutorial
before
getting
in
the
boats.
Please
note:
no
life
jackets
on
board
and
no
engine
cut-off
lanyard
(just
a
key)
-
I
paid
attention
during
my
required
safety
certification
;)
As
I
have
not
driven
a
boat
in
the
past,
it
was
taking
me
a
little
longer
to
be
familiar
with
the
controls
and
get
comfortable
with
her
instructions.
I'm
a
quick
learner
and
was
completely
motivated
to
get
it!
This
trip
requires
boats
to
travel
at
FULL
THROTTLE
and,
as
such,
it
takes
some
practice.
The
throttle
stuck,
the
boat
randomly
stalled,
and
adjusting
the
trim
at
just
the
right
time
is
critical
step
to
proper
and
safe
operation.
Through
no
fault
of
hers
or
ours,
the
small
boat
was
trickier
than
we
expected
for
a
beginner
to
master
quickly
and
she
directed
us
back
to
the
dock
for
safety.
I
appreciate
her
concerns
and
honesty.
With
other
customers
waiting
on
the
tour,
she
did
not
have
the
time
to
provide
additional
practice
or
instruction.
Be
warned...
no
refunds!!!
We
were
courteous
and
understanding,
but
it
was
just
not
a
good
experience
for
our
family
and
I
cannot
recommend.
In
the
interest
of
customer
service
they
maybe
could
have
offered
us
a
partial
credit
toward
kayaks
or
a
cruise,
but
no...
their
policy
is
NO!
We
would
have
liked
to
try
something
better
suited
for
us,
but
they
were
not
willing
to
work
with
us.
