Dredgers Key is a military facility with ID or Military Pass access. Sigsbee NAS supports Active Duty and retirees. It has housing, a PX, Commissary, a small gym, along with a lodge and a lounge with limited hours. The base also supports a large campground for winter visitors with 93 full hook-ups that include 7 handicap sites for RV and some tent sites. There are over 400 dry camping sites during the high season. Rotation gives everyone a chance to have two weeks of full hook-ups before rotating back to dry camping. There are 3 public buildings with laundry, restrooms, and showers. Easy access to dump station and portable water stations. This is one of my favorite winter places. I love rotating for different views and meeting different neighbors. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets with camp sites on the water. This is our third winter on Sigsbee with plans to return again.

We stayed at the Navy MWR campground. Made the reservations online, but you can also call it in. We stayed at the dry campground. It was great! Friendly people. Gorgeous view. Only $14 a night for DoD beneficiaries! You need a DoD ID card to enter the base. Lots of retirees staying here camping. Minutes away from the Southernmost Point, and only 90 nautical miles to Cuba!

Nice place. A little disappointed with the very few electric supply points, but other then that, a nice place to to spend a few days. Public bathrooms very clean

The water today was calm and for a Saturday there was not a lot of boat traffic.

Big RV park on military base. Dry camping at least three weeks until itโ€™s your turn for hook-ups. Many hundreds of seniors, most very nice but expect some fussy, difficult neighbors. Very disappointed with spot chosen for us after our long wait dry-camping. Really small & ugly site! So sad. Average bathrooms but expect to wait in line often to sit down to use toilet. Laundry always busy with broken machines. Wonโ€™t be back.

I camped here for a few day while in Key West. The prices canโ€™t be beat. Thereโ€™s little to no shade so bring a shade tent. The bathrooms are closest to where the RV a are parked. But there are showers and a laundry facility which is nice. Down side the tent area ground is made of rocks or contour something. I broke my hammer and barley got any stakes in the ground and paid for it later when a storm blew in and my tent almost flew away.

Very peaceful place where we set up our camp and jump in the water. Is right at the beach. Clean facilities are very well maintained. I wish I had stayed there for another night or two. Is Navy camp ground, and you have to be active or retired military personnel to stay here.

All the amenities you might need. Nice beach and lots of green space which is hard to find around key west.
