Very disappointed about the way my family and I was treated by Jaime Caballero (management) . Very unpleasant experience, unprofessional, rude.We had rented three units in total, all families owned businesses on the west coast of Florida and know the importance of good customer service and Mrs. Caballero you definitely not the best example of it. Im wondering if the owners of the property knows the way you are treating the potential customers like us. Next year some else will be please to have us.

My family and I have stayed at Pelican Landing Condo for 1.5-2 weeks almost every summer for the last 7-8 years with no issues. Maintenance & upgrades are not happening, walk-through prior to arrivals are not being done (or they wouldn’t miss lights not working, refrigerator water filters not being changed, water faucet leaks, and vanity’s in both bathrooms being damaged by water), and now they want you to wash your own towels (with a washer/dryer combo that will not dry more than 2 towels and 2 wash clothes per cycle with out you being there to turn the dryer back on). And you’re given 1 set of towels & washclothes per guest- so you spend your time washing clothes instead of vacationing!!! When management was asked about towel issues, Mrs. Jamie replied “you signed the contract.” I have never met ruder management or maintenance in our years of traveling… We booked in Marathon for our next vacation after almost a decade of going to Pelican Landing Condos… I hope the condo owners see this message and get involved before the management run their investments into the ground, literally! Have fun traveling!!! 🎉🎉🎉 In response to Jamie- y’all did change a microwave light within 30 minutes. I heard you speak to June and my only regret (as I said- we’ve stayed there almost 10 years in a row), is the way you spoke to a paying customer… called her back and spoke to her that way again… then sent your “maintenance man” who spoke to her that way yet again…. Again, you got a 1 star and lost a customer for professionalism. The other “stuff” we really weren’t worried about. Shame on y’all!

We greatly appreciate the hospitality extended by Jaime and her staff. All of our encounters with the the staff were excellent and the facility was very clean. Great family vacation lobstering and enjoying all Key West has to offer. Would highly recommend as a professional and a patron.We enjoyed the establishment next door on several occasions and hope they do well. Their live music on Friday night was enjoyed from our balcony. We will be back.

The ABSOLUTE WORST VACATION EXPERIENCE EVER! We booked our vacation 4-6 months out. Our room was mediocre to say the least & definitely NOT worth the $3000+ we paid for it. They were working on the roofs & grinding cement throughout the building. This construction work was so loud we had to leave the building to speak on the phone. The pool was covered and closed the majority of our week long vacation with cranes blocking the 50% of the parking lot! When I spoke with an employee there, I was told the work had been planned for several months, yet we received notice 3 days prior to us heading there. My family has been coming here for 20+ years! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Had this vacation booked for over 4+ months just to find out 2 days before leaving that there was going to be construction on the building. No accommodations were made to help enjoy the stay, elevators closed, both stairwells filled with concrete chipping a & roofing equipment. Never mentioned the pool would be closed or the parking lot would be filled with workers truck and no place for guests. Construction started before 8 most days so no luck sleeping in, rooms not renovated, water pressure in showers horrible just trickles, made the best out of what was left but needless to say communication about construction should have been explained especially when vacation was booked so far in advanced.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Grossest place I've seen in key west. Beds are old as hell and the elevator with no AC takes forever to go up 3 floors. The only thing nastier than the rooms is the lady that runs the place, Jamie. Typical New Yorker that follows you around and yells at you for everything you do. She tried telling us they NEVER have problems with other guests we were the ONLY ones who have ever caused problems. All these bad reviews say otherwise. See her reply below. We took 2 slips for 10 minutes to unload our gear. There were zero other boats at the dock.

Very unprofessional management. The room are a total disaster. Extremely dirty. Water leaks. The beds are super bad you can see pieces of wood to hold it together. The docks are good with easy access but they have so many rules is hard to stay happy. Good luck.

this place was absolutely awful! worst time ever! the manger that drives the white jag (jamie) was so rude and had no respect! and don’t even get me started with how poorly remodeled this place was. One of the nights i was in the shower and a roach went right across my feet , like what! it literally made us not want to come back to the room ever. By saying this if i were you i would not come to this place, the worst part was jamie though for sure i would watch out for her!

Had the WORST experience at Pelican landing. Furniture Not upgraded- beds sink in and are extremely Uncomfortable. You want to be comfortable and rest when your on vacation. Living room furniture the same. Management Very rude. Management is in control of you A/C unit and you have to continue to ask to put temp on what your family likes. Go into the managers office if you want to cool down. They have it like an icebox. Plumbing always acting up. One slow elevator so just plan on taking stairs. Don’t waste your money at Pelican landing. Awful experience- we checked out early. We’ve traveled to KW for years and will Never stay there again.

Very outdated, uncomfortable beds, un reliable washer and dryer and TV that didn't generally work

Such an awesome condo. Where to start...let me start by saying I hate when condos require you to do all this cleaning before you leave.... vacation is not meant to spent cleaning. Well pelican only requires you to put all the towels by the washer and take out the trash. The condo was very clean, beds were clean(even the mattress cover. And yes I tear the beds apart before I will sleep in them to make sure they are clean) the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. The decor was beautiful. The ladies at the front desk are sweet, friendly and accommodating where they can. I plan to stay here every time we come down.

I wish I had check the reviews of the pelican landing before I book our Mother’s Day family vacation at the pelican landing. I must say the review of the elevator, beds, and general condo conditions where spot on, they are really dated and in need of replacement or repair. But the worse part of staying in this establishment is the horrific management, who knows nothing about hospitality or the hospitality industry (Jaime) is very rude and abusive to her clients and has no business in a customer service environment. Hopefully if you are reading this you find a better place to stay so Jaime does not ruin your family vacation…

If you plan on sleeping or walking to any beach this is not it they wake you up every morning at 530 am because they get the trash daily as loud as you could possibly imagine slamming the garbage dumpster multiple times making it impossible to sleep
