Yes, we caught fish. However, they were all barely over keeper size. We went to one spot and stayed there never looking for a spot that could possibly have larger fish. Captain Barry spent the majority of his time in the cabin leaving his first mate, Ray, in charge. The captain was very quick to come out of the cabin to take a photo of a fish that was an inch or two over keeper size, but there were only a few he deemed big enough to photograph. The photos are deceptive because he has you hold the fish way out in front of you. One of us hooked a shark but neither the first mate or the captain, who was in the cabin, gave advice on how to land it. The day we fished happened to be the first mates first time working on a boat. He didn't know how to bait a hook or take the fish off. He was never really sure of the type of fish we were catching or if they were keepers. Before we returned to the harbor, the captain went through our catch and had to throw back many under sized fish. If you want a working captain and want to catch bigger fish, this is not the boat for you.

My friends and I had the most relaxing and fun trip with Rampage Fishing Charters. We caught so many fish thanks to the expertise of our Captain. I would recommend this outing for any family or group wanting a real exciting fishing experience. They even recommend to go get our catch cooked at a local restaurant which was accommodated warmly by the staff of the kitchen.

My family of 6 had a great day on the water with first mate Eric and captain Barry. None of us had ever been deep sea fishing, but we all felt like pro's with these fellows guidance. We caught alot of smaller fish, which we took to a local restaurant that grilled and fried it up for us. It was absolutely delicious! We hooked 2 nurse sharks which were good sized, but obviously let go. The whole experience was just amazing and we highly recommend these guys!

I highly recommend Rampage Fishing Charters! A memorable time was had by all! Great people and family business. Captain Barry, his wife and Eric are fantastic individuals. Extremely friendly and helpful. I'd book through them anytime. We have been fishing in different places, but this was our 1st key west trip. Such a beautiful place. I could go on and on about how delicious the fish were and how fun it was, but u better find out for yourselves!

We had a great day fishing. If you have younger kids, or first timers, this is perfect. Do not show up expecting deep sea fishing. They clearly state multiple places that they are taking you in calmer waters. You'll still catch more fish than you count and not have anyone chumming the water the whole time. Money well spent!!!

If i had to put it in one word cheap the captain only had squid for bait barly any ice for drinks so they where hot we went maybe 1/2 mile out the first mate was cool though but the captain didn't pay her at all she worked of tips so the captain was so cheap stayed in close so save gas,barly bought ice,didn't pay the first mate,and only bought squid.

Whenever no one was ready to take us out to a sand bar Rampage made it happen for us and we had a great time! You are very save in their hands, thanks Captain Mike and Captain Tamara!

Absolutely one of the best fishing days of my life...I have chartered in the islands, Fla, NY, Boston, etc....I have my own fishing boat in Lake Erie, and had an amazing charter with Capt. Barry and Eric...Eric was so knowledgeable as to what to use for bait and when, we limited out in ten minutes for yellow tail and moved on to shark fishing, 3 lemon and 1 nurse shark later before we called it time....I'm coming back in June...love these guys and think of them as new friends....Absolutely awesome

Our experience with Captain Barry and First Mate Eric was the best we've had fishing on vacation--it was an awesome time! Our family enjoys fishing on vacation and our trip with Rampage was exactly what we were looking for--a private charter for a few hours of fishing and the added bonus of a lot of fish-catching, and a little bit of swimming. We were bottom-fishing and caught sharks, yellow-tails, blue runners, and red groupers. From the moment we arrived at the dock we were warmly welcomed and easily settled in for a morning of fishing and swimming. We are all novice fishers and Eric was incredibly helpful and patient with us and our two boys--ages 7 & 11. He worked incredibly hard throughout our trip to make sure that we were having a great time--he was attentive to who needed bait or help to reel in a fish. Barry and Eric even had one last surprise at the end of the trip for us--feeding the Tarpin. We caught enough fish to take to a nearby restaurant and have cooked for lunch with left-overs. Our trip on Rampage Fishing Charters was a highlight of our family vacation to the Keys. If you are looking to spend a few hours on a boat with your kids and catching fish, you will not be disappointed choosing Rampage Fishing Charters.

What an amazing trip! Eric the 1st mate was fantastic. We caught fish consistently the entire trip and after Eric cleaned them he recommended a restaurant for us to take them and have them cooked. Could not recommend this Charter more!

Great way to spend a day! Barry's wife was very helpful in planning our fishing trip. Captian Barry and his mate Eric were very knowledgeable and kept us pulling in fish after fish. We had 4 kids fishing (2 of which are wild cards). Eric has a perfect system to keep everyone safe and baited. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

What a great day!! It was just my brother-in-law (who's never fished before) and me. Bonnie was great to us both, very patient and a pleasure to talk with. Captain Barry knows his stuff, and got us out fishing in minutes. Lastly (but certainly not least) Tamara, was wonderful in setting up and managing the whole trip for us, despite being a little under the weather. We took our filets to the floating Thai Restaurant right next door, and enjoyed our catch. I would definitely recommend Rampage Fishing Charters, whether you're a novice or experienced fisherman.
