The food here is delicious! We got a variety of appetizers and they were all tasty. The coconut shrimp were super tasty. For an entree, the fish tacos were super tasty. Very fresh and flavorful. You have to get the key lime pie for dessert. The flavor is fantastic. The server was great too. Highly recommend

Amazing** food is an understatement. Our party of three cashed in on the “half price small plates” during happy hour (Jamaican jerk wings x2, coconut shrimp x2, and pork belly sliders), and they were all outstanding! Our waitress, Kimmi, was terrific as well. Very easy going & knowledgeable of the area. It was an all around great experience!

This place was so good we went there 2 nights in a row! The fish tacos were amazing, and the grilled shrimp tacos we had the second night were almost as good. We also had the Kahula pork with rice and pineapple and really enjoyed it. My favorite thing on the menu is the smoked tomato bisque. Just order it….. you’ll thank me! The outdoor seating area is charming, the service was friendly and on point. The employees are on the ball, taking orders, running food and cleaning tables quickly. This has become our favorite place to eat in key west! Oh yeah… the lime & cucumber water pitchers are a nice touch!

Ambiance is fabulously relaxed. It’s a couple steps off Duval street so you get a secluded backyard vibe with outdoor seating. There are inside seats also with A/C and karaoke. Overall, a very family friendly venue. Service is top notch. Menu is a melting pot of Caribbean and Polynesian foods and textures and a few hints of other cultures thrown in. Lots of flavor with every dish; each executed very well and beautifully presented. Portions were large, so it was very filling. Deep fried items were crisp without greasiness. This is a sign of good craftsmanship where little details matter. Note to self: next time order items sauce on the side

Casual island atmosphere, outstanding food. Shrimp tacos were the table favorite. Jerk chicken wings were a big hit, tuna poke bowl also delicious. The hula girl pie was a great finish. Wait staff was courteous, happy, prompt and friendly.

Phenomenal! Went for my birthday dinner with 6 adults 2 babies and it was great! Blackened Mahi tacos stole the show. Not spicy, just flavorful! The conch fritters were fried just right. Pork sandwich was moist and full of flavor. Service was wonderful. Didn’t get more photos because we ate it all fast. Definitely recommend!

Simply great food. I had the Korean steak tacos and my wife had the Jamaican jerk chicken. The portions were large and the food tasted great. We also got the buffalo cauliflower as an appetizer. It was a lot of food; more than we could eat in fact. My wife ordered the backyard tea, and I ordered the Juju’s Mai Tai. The drinks were great also. Initially we were going somewhere else. My wife really wanted to go to Kaya because she liked the menu. It was a great move. The food far exceeded my expectations. Definitely m, a place to try. We’ll be back next time we’re in Key West.

One of the best spots we have stopped at for dinner in Key West. Stopped by on a Sunday around 5pm and there was plenty of seating available. Our server was fantastic and very welcoming. We loved the conch fritters and the provided sauce it comes with. For the entree, we enjoyed the fish tacos with mahi-mahi and the Korean BBQ beef tacos were fantastic as well! Their fries are also great. Dessert was our favorite part and we couldn't recommend their key lime pie enough! It was freshly made and was the best key lime pie we have ever had. We also highly recommend the Hula Girl Pie. The Oreo cookie crust paired with vanilla ice cream was incredible! Everything we ordered on the menu far exceeded our expectations and the service was fantastic as well! Highly recommend Kaya if you're looking for great food in Key West.

This was probably the top restaurant we've tried so far in Key West. We had the Reggae Fish and the Key Lime Catch. What an incredible array of flavors all on one plate. The setting is very laid back and relaxed, the servers are friendly, and each table gets a pitcher of lemon/cucumber water which is very refreshing. I highly recommend stopping here at least once.

Staff was very friendly. Our server was nice and patient. The manager was out talking to tables and the bartender greeted a few people that walked in. The jerk wings weren't worth all the hype IMO but still good. The roasted pork was good and the key lime pie was good. They have a sports bar and a lounge area that does karaoke at night.

We brought black fin tuna that we caught fishing straight from the boat. They prepared it for us as poke nachos and as two huge dinner platters with their own different Caribbean styles. Best meal I’ve had in a long time!!!! Thank you for making this such a special day for us.

Amazing food! Don't let the outside seating fool you. The food is better than the atmosphere and the atmosphere is still pretty nice. Had the blackened snapper with the horseradish buere-blanc that was outstanding. The fish tacos were very good as well. Price was up there but the food was terrific. Beautiful presentation. Wasn't expecting this here and they did a good job.

Great spot for a drink, food, relax with a beer and watch sport (plenty of screens). We popped in on a off chance around 9pm no reservation and ordered the conch fritters and fish tacos. The conch fritters were the best in key west no doubt about it. Little bit of spice to the batter not overcooked and burnt like other places. The sauce was amazing could have done with another plate full. The fish tacos were equally as good. Light, fresh, crisp salad couldn't ask for anything more. Excellent place for food and to top it off key lime pie freshly made was easily the best and that includes the one named after a green frog. Definitely worth a look

My wife and I went to key west for our honeymoon and ate dinner here. The dinner was amazing! You will not feel regret for going there. The Happy Hour also save us 50% for all appetizers. My wife even finish her meal which she usually cannot. Highly recommended!

A must for your stay in KW. Isaac was a wonderful server. He took great care of us. We had the conch fritters, tuna nachos, pork sliders, at happy hour prices, the yellow tail tacos were just amazing!! The presentation was so nice! Will definitely come back for the wings!

The service was great, and food came out timely. I ordered from their starters menu, the jerk wings, coconut shrimps, and conch, and it was great. The Key West Colada looked so pretty but tasted like a virgin milkshake, mainly of water. The key lime pie appears to be store bought. Don't let them fool you with it being the best on the island because it's definitely not homemade, and it had a refrigerator aftertaste to it.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! From the outside it looked like just a little bar - until you head to the back! The atmosphere and live music were amazing. The service was out of this world - Rita is seriously the sweetest server I have ever met. I had the coconut curry rice with shrimp and it was to die for! The combination of flavors paired with the fresheness of the shrimp was outstanding. And don't even get me started on the Key Lime pie. If you're ever in Key West you HAVE to come here!!

Service was amazing! Food was even better. We had the coconut shrimp, the sauce was amazing and shrimp was perfectly cooked! We also had the Hawaiian pork sliders and fish tacos. Everything was so fresh and flavorful!

The food was absolutely incredible - it was so good that it's hard to believe it was even real. I had the pleasure of trying the Killer Fish Tacos and Cuban Style Roast Pork and both dishes were simply outstanding. The flavors were expertly balanced, and every bite was bursting with deliciousness. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the pork was juicy and flavorful. I also appreciated the generous portions, which left me feeling satisfied but not uncomfortably full. Our waiter, Isaac, was an absolute delight as well. He was very easy going and had a wealth of knowledge about the area, which added to our enjoyment of the meal. He was attentive without being intrusive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all top notch. Thank you for a great evening!

The food is amazing with a wide range of culinary flavors. The covered outside dinning experience was very comfortable, don't let the park bench seating scare you. The drink specials are delicious. I highly recommend Kaya for the best lunch in Key West.

The food here is delicious! It was the only place we found in Key West where we felt the island style vibe in both food and ambiance. The servers were friendly and welcoming. We had the coconut shrimp, Kalua pork and the Macadamia Coconut catch. I can vouch that these are worth every penny. We tried their key lime pie and discovered that it was the best key lime pie we ever had! Most of all, the price is affordable compared to the restaurants in the area. They are proof that you can have good food in Key West without breaking your wallet or resorting to eating fast food. We were disappointed that many restaurants in Key West were so expensive but the food they make were cooked the same way back in our home state and was just made a lot more expensive. If it’s expensive, it has to be made worth its price tag. Because of our overall satisfaction with Kaya, we are coming back again!

Just a few steps off Duval St. Kaya Island Eats is remarkable. The decor is inviting, the atmosphere is totally island with an inclusive feel. We were seated immediately on a Monday lunch hour. Our server Joanna was exceptional. She made recommendations that were perfect. The food is the star here. The ingredients and entire presentation was impressive. We savored every bite. We had the Grouper Tacos and the Korean Beef Tacos. And those Veggie Warrior Won Tons. I'd book a flight back right now for a plate of those! Parking is what you'd expect in Key West, but his place is so worth it. Highly Recommended.

Great food, excellent service. It feels and looks like a hole in the wall located off the main Duval strip, but well worth a visit for dinner. We went during the first anniversary of this restaurant opening. The conch fritters were good, but the tacos were superb and overflowing with goodness.

Kaya is a quaint unique restaurant located just off the beaten path of Duvall street. We enjoyed the food and service so much we came back again during our short trip to the keys. The first trip we had the jerk wings as an appetizer and the tacos. Each dish was delicious answer surprisingly filling. The next time, we brought our fresh catch from a fishing trip and they cooked it a few different ways for us. The Asian and jerk style were my favorites and made the trip back worth it. The owner Paul was their both nights and made sure we were well taken care of. Would definitely return next time we’re in the Keys.
