The Kolache Kitchen - Key West Duval

Restaurant

👍 Really great tacos! Some of the best I’ve had down here. However the menu was a little misleading; chicken lunch taco with two tortillas sounds like a lot more than one taco. 5-6$ for 1 taco is pretty steep. Probably wouldn’t pay that much again People often mention tacos, taco, menu, good, Duval,

This place is absolutely amazing. The menu has a huge variety, the food is so flavorful, and the staff is super friendly. This is definitely a unique experience in Key West due to being able to just grab and go. We got a variety today with a fish taco, 2 breakfast bacon/sausage tacos, Cuban empanada, and a sausage and cheese kolache. We also got the strawberry and blueberry sweet things. It was definitely hard not to buy the whole menu! You need to go here if you are in Key West!

This place was great! Friendly staff and the only grab and go spot I saw while in key west. We got tacos last night on the go and had to come back to have more of the menu before we left! Even brought the sweet treats back for everyone else on the boat they were so good! Photo shows lunch taco (large), breakfast tacos (small), sweet fruit filled, empanada (baked), and a savory kolache

The dough is delicious but the contents are disappointing. Sausage is hot dog btw... not cool!!! Smoked sausage is actually sausage though.

YUMMY!!! This was the best 2am taco I’ve ever had. It seriously hit the spot. And they also have frozen sangria that was so refreshing. I can’t wait to go back.

I have tried shrimp, steak and chicken street tacos a ton of times since they opened but today it seems like they changed cook or idk. Tortilla was super sand taste (like they didn’t care to heat it), little to no sauce at all. Steak use to be so soft now it’s hard and chicken was super tasty and well shredded, not this time… it has change, wish they really take this review in consideration cause I love the kolache a lot but this is the first time that I didn’t like it… sad :(

I almost never leave a review, good or bad, but this place is so bad and so overpriced that I had no choice. Absolutely the worst food I have had in a long time. People from Kazakhstan can’t be expected to make Mexican/Cajun food well and they do not. Avoid at all cost.

Really tasty tacos and must try kolaches! Super friendly. Recommend avoiding the tourist traps for a drink and the best local food 😊

Walking down Duval, I noticed the menu board…”Brisket” Street Tacos caught my eye! Of course, I ordered one… Delicious, so much flavor and not on meat or filling. If you’re in Key West, looking something to eat, head to 218 Duval. I will be back to try more of the many choices on the menu!

Great value (considering how everything is priced in Key West), I was gonna take pictures of the tacos but I ate them too fast. The meat tacos (I had pork and brisket) are very good, very well spiced and not skimpy at all. My kids got the Kolaches and said they were very good as well. The service was a little slow, but it was a Sunday night and the entire town was HOPPING, the weather was nice enough and I didn't mind waiting. And let the tacos really ARE worth the wait.

A small taco stand on Duval Street. There aren't any tables to eat at. When you just need a taco, empanadas or rancheros it’s quick and delicious. When the band at Sloppy Joe’s took a break we went there for a couple of tacos. Perfect!

This little nook on Duval st is a fantastic spot for authentic tacos and yummy empanadas. Must try is their Vietnamese coffee and a kolache. The place is very small and understated but they are big on taste. We stopped here a bunch of times to grab a bite and drink and were never disappointed. Overall a fantastic hidden gem on Duval st

The food here is excellent, we stopped by a few times for different tacos while we walked up and down Duval. They also have some canned drinks and beers available as well which was great between bars. I highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious. Breakfast or lunch you can’t go wrong for a meal. Very nice person working there! Not a sit down place. Grab and go. Two tacos, one ranchero, one kolache, one topo chico, one frozen viet coffee - $30
