We booked this B&B based off the pictures and already amazing reviews and now we get to add to the praise! This place is an absolute gem! The location is perfect for the nearby New River Gorge National Park and for walking in cute downtown Fayetteville. The house itself is incredible! Each room has its own character. The decor, feel, and attention to detail around every corner is what really makes this spot stand out. But what truly makes it special are the owners, Eric and Natalie. They were great at communicating throughout the stay were so warm, friendly, and welcoming. They had great recommendations when we asked and the breakfasts were 10/10. Still dreaming about the pancakes we had our first morning and regret not asking for the recipe! We’ll certainly be back and plan on telling all of our friends about this spot - especially with them adding a speak easy to the first floor soon!

My wife and I stayed for a week, and it was amazing. The house is incredible, breakfast was excellent, and the proprietors, Eric and Natalie, were fantastic. The rooms are all well put together with antique and vintage touched befitting such an old house. Everything has those little touches that show Natalie and Eric have put thought into it. We got amazing recommendations for things to do and where to eat in the area. The house has a variety of food within walking distance and access to the park is very easy. I can't recommend staying here enough. If you're looking to visit the New River Gorge, or passing through Fayetteville this is where you want to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming B&B. Our hosts Eric and Natalie were friendly and gracious. The location is terrific and we could walk to the recommended restaurants. We stayed in the Rosa room on the first floor and the bed comfortable and the soaking tub relaxing especially after a day of hiking at New River Gorge NP. Best of all was enjoying quiet mornings on the wraparound porch with a delicious breakfast.

The Morris Harvey House is an absolute delight. The historic charm of the house shines through in every detail, and the newly launched Rosa's Speakeasy makes you feel even more like you've stepped back in time (and the cocktails are incredible, too!). We came, like many people, for the New River Gorge, but we found both Fayetteville and the Morris Harvey House to be attractions in their own right - don't miss them!

Staying at this charming B&B is like living in a beautiful museum, but with top notch amenities! The home is decorated floor to ceiling with antique photos and memorabilia. The bedrooms and bathrooms are appointed with the finest linens and towels. Fine wines and snacks await you right in your room for ease of purchase. It is an old house, so the temperature control left something to be desired, but the delicious breakfast more than made up for this. We would definitely return for a longer stay.

10/10 review here. Natalie and Eric have created something special at the Morris Harvey House. My wife and I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. Perfect location if you're visiting Fayetteville or the New River Gorge National Park.

The owners made us feel like we were personal friends invited to stay in their home. The house is beautiful with antiques throughout. The beds are wonderfully comfortable. Breakfasts are creative and quite good. The house is within walking distance of several restaurants in Fayetteville and a short drive (across the bridge) to Park headquarters. Highly recommended.

Very impressed with Morris Harvey House Bed & Breakfast. A bit on the pricey end but worth it. Hosts were very accommodating and the house and grounds were charming. We had some Gluten Free dietary restrictions and they were most accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were first rate. We would recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area.

All I have to say is- WOW. We booked this place on a whim coming through town, and what a find it is. The way this historic home is preserved by its fantastic owners is a must see. This place alone makes a trip to Fayetteville, WV a destination worth spending time. The enter process from check-in to check-out was flawless. Not to mention, the breakfast provided was incredible. Served with class and elegance on antique looking dinnerware, the meal was an experience of its own. The best banana muffin I've ever had. If you're reading this review- RUN, don't walk to book this incredible experience. Thank you to the owners for your heart and hospitality. Bruce and Jacquelyn Breedlove

We went twice to Rosa's Speakeasy during a 4 day getaway!! The warm hospitality, the attention to detail in your sitting room, cocktails & charcuterie! I could go on, but honestly, you must experience for yourself! RSVP is helpful, but if you stumble upon Rosa's Speakeasy without, they will still welcome you. Also, if you need room accommodations, book early for their B&B!

We loved our stay here! We were just passing through so we only stayed one night, and had to leave early in the morning so we unfortunately had to miss breakfast. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean! We felt so cozy here. The owners were very hospitable, and we would definitely stay here again!

This place was amazing!! The owners, Eric and Natalie, were awesome. They were so friendly and accommodating. Their dinner recommendation was perfect. Wanderlust Creativefoods was spectacular and within walking distance of the Morris Harvey House. The room was spectacular. I stayed in the Loft and had a great time. It was eclectic, quirky, and classy at the same time. The bed was super comfy. The town was awesome and Morris Harvey House was within walking distance of almost everything. I was very impressed by Fayetteville, WV. I highly recommend this place. It was the perfect stay after a full day in New River Gorge National Park. It is very close to the Canyon Rim Visitor Center. I woke up early and drove along the Fayette Station Road to see the sun setting over the bridge. Then went back to Morris Harvey House for an amazing home-cooked breakfast. The breakfast was amazing. Fresh coffee and orange juice with bacon and a pistachio waffle. Yum!! I had a great experience and will definitely be returning.

The ambience and vibe is just so carefully curated. The staff are so caring and produce an atmosphere of acceptance with timeless class. I highly recommend Rosa’s, inside the b&b. It is just an inviting throwback to the early 1900s with care to craft not only excellent drinks but do it with a nod to the rich history of the area. 10/10.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I stayed at The MacPherson House several days while caring for my dad, who is in hospice. It is a gem of a property - beautiful with clean, comfortable, well-appointed rooms (I stayed in the Lookout and Lafayette - both lovely). The property is well loved and it shows. 😠 Filthiest hotel I have ever seen. Bedspread covered in burn marks, sheets filthy with stains and blood spots - found dead bedbug carcasses in mattress seams.
