👍👍 Perfect spot for a picnic! No garbages but had a bathroom which was nice! There was also a nice little trail to walk on before or after lunch. People often mention spot,

Another little spot most tourists might go right past. Take the easy paved trail up to the top for some amazing views of the Black Hills!

This is a beautiful place. Just around the bend from Mount Rushmore, it is a quiet and secluded spot perfect for a short walk or picnic among the pines. I was so overwhelmed by the sheer beauty and magic of this place that it brought tears to my eyes. Really.

Breezy point is so so pretty late September! It’s a short walk from parking, and offers incredible views! I also little loved capturing this engagement session there!

Most tourists should not ever go here. There is no wi-fi reception and no playground for your children. There are no trash cans, so you will have to just leave your garbage on the floor of the vault toilets there. Thanks for that. Just follow the cars to Keystone !

Day use only. Hardly anyone stops here ,as they blast by downhill past Mt. Rushmore, which is absolutely fortunate for those who do stop. Toilets are clean& picnic tables available. Best views of the area by far! Camped locally but went here twice it was so beautiful. A high west Lookout above a small vale is the best! (See photos.) Underrated under& used = 12/10. The backside of Mt. Rushmore can be seen from this lookout.

Beautiful little quiet spot for a family picnic. Just the right spot to get away from the crowds at Mount Rushmore for a little break. There is a nice little trail leading to a lookout point.

Nice spot for lunch. There are several picnic tables near the parking area and pine trees provide some nice shade. The tables are about 50-60 feet apart from each other with a few trees and a little woodland vegetation in between, so it doesn't feel too crowded. Based on other reviews, there appears to be a trail you can hike up a little ways for more open views of the Black Hills. Overall, it's a nice, pretty spot and I would stop here again.
