Location's
excellent
if
you
want
to
be
close
to,
well,
everything.
you're
in
Florentin
(if
that's
your
thing)
and
a
quick
walk
to
Yaffo,
Levinsky
market
and
a
20
minute
walk
to
Shuq
HaCarmel.
You're
near
a
bus
stop,
so
getting
north
to
explore
the
city's
another
option.
The
property
itself:
if
you
want
a
no-frills
hotel
with
zero
lobby
(who
needs
a
lobby,
really?),
a
nice
but
simple
room,
then
this
is
perfect.
Why
only
4
stars?
Because,
while
all
of
Tel
Aviv
is
getting
quite
expensive,
this
hotel
could
offer
a
bit
more
for
the
rate.
Our
room
was
tired
looking.
Bathroom
door
squeaked
(honked)
loudly
every
time
it
was
open,
which
means
that
nighttime
bathroom
use
woke
the
other
person
up.
The
shower
ceiling
was,
oddly,
done
as
drywall,
so
it's
rotting
and
a
bit
moldy
(why
not
tile??).
baseboard
on
one
wall
was
off.
Not
nitpicky
issues
and
not
"never
go
there",
but
for
a
7
year
old
hotel,
i'd
expect
some
maintenance.
Told
them
about
the
door
issue
and
it
wasn't
fixed
(just
needed
some
oil).
Also,
the
complimentary
breakfast
from
the
attached
cafe
was
okay.
Subpar
for
israeli
standards.
I
ate
once
and
then
just
left
it
so
i
could
get
tastier
food
down
the
street.
Lattes
were
meh.
Better
at
Hamalabiya
a
block
away.
