Perfect location to go anywhere on foot. I stayed in a clean 12-bed room and everyone was silent and respectful to those sleeping. I loved the breakfast, simple and healthy. I cooked several times in the kitchen and that was great to bond and chat with other cookers . The lounge has nice music in the evening to drink and read a book. I enjoyed a concert and a party. I met all kinds of people of all nationalities and of all ages. A perfect place to have fun , to relax and feel at home.

Never stayed in a hostel before and selected this one due to its location and cost for 1 night. It was a basic room, but more spacious than expected. The bed and pillows were very comfortable- better than many 4* hotels.

As a solo woman traveling in Tel Aviv for the first time, the experience at Abraham Hostel was safe and easy. Their services like luggage storage and free use of lobby was much appreciated as I could use that time to roam around freely and rest before my flight. Rooms are clean and spacious. The reception is friendly to queries and receptive to requests. The location of the Hostel is also convenient - near to public transport and near to the beach as well.

Booked a trip to the West Bank in Israel, can't fault the tour itself or the guide, knowledgeable and friendly. However at the end I left my sunglasses as the last one off the minibus, told the rep 5 minutes later and they contacted the driver to tell him to come back. Not only did he not, it took 3 days for them to tell me the glasses had mysteriously disappeared from the empty bus. Pretty shocking service really, be careful.

Once again the saying location location comes into play. Very pleasant and surprising for a hostel in the terms of hostel. Definitely a yes for anyone on a budget. Staff where excellent. Have nothing negative. Keep up the good work guys.

The room was very clean, personell were very nice and service was quick. We asked for a crib and it was brought and installed in less than 15 minutes. The bed are very comfortable and breakfast food fresh and delicious. I forgot my wallet in the room after checkout and the reception contacted me to inform it was found. Location is 2 minutes from ROTHSCHILD street. We had a great experience and we will recommend and return.

This place is a little far from the beach but has pretty good access to the city. Tel Aviv is huge so you have to know what you want to visit before choosing a location. The hostel was a little quiet but they make the most of it by arranging events every night. The rooms are comfortable but could use a curtain or rail for a bit more privacy. The facilities like the lounge and rooftop are a highlight of this stay.

Upon walking I felt welcomed. They even offer free drinks of your choice and ice-pops! Itโ€™s very well run with lots to do if you want to interact and keep busy. The Paint & Pint night followed by the jazz jam was epic. I loved my time there and would definitely stay there again.

It was my first time staying at Abraham Hostel Tel Aviv and it was such a pleasant experience. The private rooms are great if youโ€™re traveling alone with other people. The lounge area is spacious and very cozy with great music and vibes. The hostel also offers events and itโ€™s a great way to learn more about Israel and have fun. The hostel is also clean and staff is always friendly and willing to answer any questions you have. Thanks for the great stay and I already want to come back :)

This is a great place . The vibe in the city is also inside the hostel. Rooms have a private toilet so you don't have to leave the room at night . Rooms are clean and cleaned every day. The breakfast has a variety suitable for everyone. Super positive is that the guests are of all ages , so with my 59 years I didn't feel an outsider. Nice free jazz concert , halloween party, shabbat dinner , nice music in the lounge in the evening where you can read a book , have a drink or talk with new friends Walking distance to the sea, the center , the bars , a few musea . Very friendly people to help you with whatever. The rest is for you to find out ....

The place is awesome. It is a hostel but provides everything you might need. (Except privacy in your room.) They have events, big hall, bars, friendly service, breakfast, great location. And the hostel also feels personal. If you go here alone or with friends it is a great choice!

Good location and good vibes at the hostel but a little bit outdated in terms of rooms, with poor noise isolation from other rooms. Makes it quite hard to get a decent night sleep. Dorms have too many beds, if you are in a 10/12 bed dorm, it will be impossible to get any decent sleep. Basic breakfast to keep you going in the morning and get out there quickly, with good range of organised activities.

  • 5/5 Henni P. 1 year ago on Google
Great place with great vibes! They got tours and all different kinds of activities (the even had an amazing live band one night!) I can very much recommend. Only downside: many rooms are facing a busy street which is pretty noisy, even with windows closed.

It is a very chill hostel which completely exceeded my expectations. The rooms are what you would expect. The staff is nice and thoughtful. The reason I am so fond of this place is the community around the hostel. You feel really chill and at home with these people. They organize lots of fun activities for people who stay at the hostel. I absolutely recommend this place!

Excellent services, great location, spacious room and facilities. But what makes me feel I am home because their cat Sarah (pls give her food and water regularly. In my 3 nights of stay, her plate and bowl always empty.

The people are beautiful, the rooms are nice and comfy. Everything is very easy to manage, and there is room service to keep things tidy even when you may not have the time or cannot. The food is amazing, the bar is amazing, and the love jazz music and lounge room brings life to it all. The staff is kind and will help you out whenever you need!

Great hostel in a great location. The rooms were small, but comfortable, with two bunk beds sleeping up to 4 people. The kitchen/dining hall was lively and the food was good. The rooftop was the highlight, offering great views of the Tel Aviv skyline.

A really wonderful place! Youngsters, families with children, adults and seniors - everyone is welcome and can feel at home. Top location, clean rooms, comfortable beds and friendly service! Unique vibe, really!!! If you travel to Tel Aviv, this is the place to stay - excellent value for money <3

I wasn't a resident in the hostel but when I visited Israel I went to 2 of their tours/events and they were 10/10. I went to a couple "Paint & Pint"s, where for two hours you paint whatever you want with unlimited drinks. There is literally nothing more fun than that, and it's only 90 shekels. The teacher is great, the people that come are always fun, and the atmosphere is super nice. Highly recommended. I also went to a couple pub crawls. The first one was really bad because they just left my friend and I at the first bar. I emailed the manager and he immediately apologized and understood. As a refund, he offered my friend and I to join another pub crawl, for free. That one was amazing. They actually took into my account what happened to me. They opened a WhatsApp group before we left, so even if someone got lost -- they just texted the group chat. It was such a nice experience. Also highly recommended.

I loved Abraham hostel. Huge place. Rooms are great. Rooftop with a bar, excellent e and with a nice city view. Breakfast is great, with a cappuccino machine! The kitchen area itโ€™s huge, you can cook your own food, they have everything. The employees and volunteers are awesome! Very nice people and friendly, included managers I have a chave to talk to them and suggest something for the rooms. They have always live band, rock and jazz every week. Definitely I will be back.

Booked a private room for the cost I paid. I could have stayed in a much nicer place. The furnishings were dated, the towels left fibers all over your body but didn't dry, they were so cheap the threads would stick. There is 0 sound proofing you may as well sleep outside in the hall, you can hear everything. There was mold in the bathroom vent, the windows were filthy, the kitchen to eat was also not very well kept. The guest wash their own dishes with paper towels after breakfast. The only reason I give it two stars is because the staff was great and the rooftop bar was really nice.

Great location, close to the new pedestrian boulevard to the beach. Ori was the nicest receptionist we have ever got to known. He saved our day by helping us reserve the bus tickets for the next day and gave us recommendations for the evening. Thank you so much again!

it's a nice hostel, the vibe is cool, the rooms have everything you need, some people from the staff was super nice, and some others :((( The cleaning could be improved a bit more. If you are staying for a few nights i recommend. Also breakfast is free and it's really complete.

  • 5/5 Orawan S. 10 months ago on Google
Great location, youโ€™re walking distance to a bunch of bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and they had the biggest common area Iโ€™ve ever seen in a hostel. The bunks in the 6 bed were old and super squeaky and private bathrooms could have been kept a little cleaner.

  • 5/5 Maggie S. 10 months ago on Google
Loved that Abraham Hostel was able to accommodate my family in a private room. Not many hostels have that type of room available. The staff were very helpful and the atmosphere was lively. The location was perfect...walking distance to great neighborhoods, restaurants, and the beach!

Great hostel! Had a private room, which was spacious and clean. The lounge area is very big and offers a lot of spots to relax, read etc. Staff was super helpful whenever we needed something!

Simply fantastic! Wouldn't hesitate to go back for a second! Breakfast was a huge plus, excellent for the price! The people were phenomenal, great memories. Too bad I only stayed for one night. Hard to think about anything that was bad about my stay at all.

We had an amazing stay in Abraham Tel Aviv. The staff were very friendly and the tours and activities really helped us make the most of our short time in the city. The bar/lounge area was great for meeting people and relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing and the roof garden was beautiful and perfect to watch the sunset.

At 59 years old, this was my first hostel experience. As expected, it was a no-frills room but I was impressed with the simple decor, cleanliness & activities. It felt like a college dorm with the promise of meeting new friends.

  • 5/5 Sam R. 9 months ago on Google
Great location to walk to most attractions in Tel Aviv. Rooms are nice if a little crowded (three beds stacked rather than the more normal two). Activities seem great although I didnโ€™t get the chance to participate in any of them.

  • 5/5 Phil 9 months ago on Google
5 stars overall because it's great value and I had fun. 3 stars on the room because it's a 10 bed dorm. What do you expect. Clean loo, respectful vibe. I actually got some sleep. Funny how people can be alone together. Shower area? What can I say? It's all about drainage. Nothings perfect. Did the job. Full on 5 star service. Front desk, bar staff, breakfast. First rate. 4 stars for location because a bit hard to find, especially for a newbie to T.A. Specific directions, train/ tram, would be handy. If they exist, I apologize. Otherwise, close to anything you might want or need. I'd stay again for sure.

I really enjoy from having a company event in Abraham Hostel. The atmosphere is cool, the place designed well and the team was absolutely amazing. Always with a smile, very communicative and willingness to help. Definitely a place I will come back to!!! Highly recommend :)

I really enjoyed the stay in this hostel. People are super nice and the rooms are cleaned daily. The only downside is that itโ€™s a bit further from the beach but on the way you are able to walk through an open market with great shopping opportunities! So it was a great experience and we will definitely come back!:)

It is directly at the allenby Train station which is really great to travel around. Changing my room from 12 to 8 worked without any issues and extra payment. The mixed rooms are an experience you have to like. It can be challenging living together with strangers but I felt save at all time.

First time at hostel with family and friends and it was great! Prime location , great service , breakfast was good value for money (we even like the 'do your own dishes rootine' which is smart and ecological idea. kids enjoyed themselves and felt safe to wonder around - all in all it is definitely a children friendly hostel! The only thing that could have been better is that rooms were not cleaned daily from top to bottom, like in a hotel. Nevertheless, We highly recommend Abraham Hostel TLV and we will be back.

We stayed the whole family for three nights. We got a room with 6 beds, shower and restroom, tv, ac and a small fridge. The room was basic but everything is working and it looks very nice. But the real fun is in the rest of the hotel, the lounge has activities for both kids and adults and is very fun to hang out at. The kitchen is well acquiped. There is a very nice breakfast for 25 ils. There is a balcony with a bar to hang out and more. For a price of about 600 ils this was a cheap and realy great experience in an excellent location.

The staff of this place are great and incredibly helpful! Special thanks to Missy who helped me find a room with the least amount of noise after the room I was initially given was too loud for me (a mixture of internal ventilation and other noises on the top floor and external city noises and music). The hostel is very well located and has great events and initiatives. However, it is in a very busy area so tends to be noisy (if you're super sensitive to noise like me you may have the same problem that I did). Private rooms are very clean and all have mini fridges, which is super helpful. However, get a superior room instead of economy if you can (those few bucks will be very worth it).

We are a family of 5,we got a room for 6.basic,but very nice. The kids loved it. Breakfast is very basic. There is a pool table and a Foosball table that are very nice. Staff is very friendly and something happens every day.

Didn't actually stay here, but it's a gr8 place! Many tourists from all over the world, mixed with locals. Everyone can enter the hostel and visit a gorgeous bar and a rooftopโค๏ธ (open untill 23:00). Also a variety of workshops, exhibitions and live shows in the bar. 30 walk from the beach, a lot of street food outside, a Rothschild avenue in the area.

Excellent experience. Location is great, and the rooms were very clean. The staff was awesome and super helpful. I loved attending the events they hosted on site-- it was a great way to meet other people staying there.

The location can't be beat. The rooms were clean. I suggest a plastic shower chair to be placed in the shower. There's no where for you to hang your clothes, only a few hooks and they are in use, a pr of thongs stayed on one hook the 8 days that I was there ๐Ÿ™„. Staff were not overly friendly, especially the female with the long dark hair. Someone needs to let her know that she's not white, I think she has an issue with dark brown skin.

  • 4/5 Almog 1 year ago on Google
Great location, nice workers, and a decent value for the price. With that being said, I will say that some 12-bed dorm rooms are dense and might not feel comfortable. In addition, the breakfast is not that rich with options.

There are no words to express how phenomenal Abraham hostel made our trip. The staff is personable and always willing to help in any way. I probably asked them a million questions & they were more than happy to help. One thing my husband and I loved was this hostel is SO CLEAN! Like you could eat off the floors clean! The location is absolutely perfect! It is so central to everything, anything you need is within walking distance. Their themed nights are the best! When you want to just stay the night in they always have something going on, and you meet so many amazing people! 10/10 would recommend! We are already booking with them in July when we go back!

This is a comfortable, clean hostel In the heart of cool Tel Aviv with a very professional, efficient, caring team. My plan was to stay for two days before taking a tour to Jordan. In the end I stayed my entire two week trip basing myself here while taking their own comprehensive Abraham tours to explore the country. While travelling independently, here, I felt happy to dip in or out of the social scene as and when I wished as there was always an array of international, friendly faces from the hostel or the various tours to catch up with. I heartily recommend this Hostel and will certainly look forward to returning.

I was very impressed by this hostel and how well organised it was. The receptionists were friendly and helped me with all sorts of queries. Also I booked a 6 female bedroom, expecting it to be cramped... but instead the hostel room/bathrooms were so spacious, and the bunk beds were a good distance from each other! And we were given free ear plugs which helped with my sleep at night. :) I would definitely recommend staying here for a vacation, especially for solo travellers/small groups.

  • 5/5 Caleb A. 2 years ago on Google
This was an excellent location to stay in Tel Aviv. The individual rooms are spacious and feel closer to a hotel room than just a bed. The staff are very friendly as well. I highly recommend going down to the hostel bar in the evening, you'll meet all kinds of cool travelers and the bartenders are great! My main tip is that if you want to give bartenders a gratuity make sure to mention it before they run your credit card. I learned after my first visit to the bar that in Israel you need to tip prior to the transaction being ran so I felt bad for not tipping.

  • 5/5 Houston M. 2 years ago on Google
An excellent hostel. I stayed for a week in a private room. The rates are affordable for Tel Aviv, the staff is professional and knowledgeable. The facility is a perfect balance of a vibrant social atmosphere, and a comfortable place to rest after a long day of whatever.

  • 1/5 David L. 2 years ago on Google
If you are a couple and are planning to visit Tel Aviv, check out the possibility of staying in an inexpensive hotel for the same amount. In the hostel from the air conditioner there are unpleasant odors and dust is pouring. For the past two years, breakfast has not been included in the price, and its price corresponds to breakfast in inexpensive eateries. The new pricing policy violates the basic principle of organizing a hostel: to provide cheap accommodation. Today it costs more than 50 Euros for a place in a room for 4 people, and more than 40 Euros for a place in a room for 12 people.

  • 4/5 Janine T. 2 years ago on Google
Big hostel with friendly atmosphere and a rooftop bar. I stayed in a private room which was newly furnished and a great deal for the price. The only downside, as with any hostel, was that it was pretty noise in the evening with people coming and going at all hours. Otherwise, it was a really nice hostel.

  • 3/5 Thibault D. 2 years ago on Google
Itโ€™s ok. Obviously you get what you pay for. Itโ€™s a hostel. Its cheap. construction going on early in the morning will definitely wake you up. I came in one night to find some random person sleeping in my bed. I still recommend this place because of the common areas and staff.

  • 5/5 Gal P. 2 years ago on Google
Simple rooms but clean and functioning. List if activities impressive even though we only stuck around for one. Location is a winner, walking distance to much of Tel Aviv Yafo, yet close enough to the main road for easy entry and exit. Current road construction related to light rail is a pain throughout. The experience will be better once the construction is completed

  • 5/5 Bill W. 2 years ago on Google
The entire staff was so amazing. The people at the reception area were so helpful. The place was kept immaculate. Everyone was nice, always offering to help. I loved the lounge, the big kitchen and the lobby.

  • 4/5 Israel X. 6 months ago on Google โ€ข 2 reviews
It really offers a service of a hostel ++. Donโ€™t expect it to be a hotel. I canโ€™t give 5 stars to everything cause unfortunately some guests just shouldnโ€™t be taken in and they really can make others guestโ€™s experience a nightmare, which was my case for a few days, but there was nothing the hostel itself couldโ€™ve done. The socializing events, spaces such as the lounge area, the roof top bar and the tours are definitely a plus and they really worth it. Well done for the staff at the reception as well; I myself wouldnโ€™t have the same patience to deal with some guests.
