Very odd exhibitions. Kind of expected this museum to celebrate all things to do with Israel and its history but it didn’t. It had exhibitions on the postal service, coins, pottery, farming implements and a travelling exhibition that I couldn’t quite figure out it’s connection to Israel. Quite a few of the exhibits were closed for renovation. Cheap entry price 15 shekels each.

A huge area out side. The museum is good. There is absolutely no service, we went to a cafe on the territory. They refused to put us in a cafe, while people came after us and sat down at this place without questions. The museum is not only an exhibition, but also an additional service. I still didn't understand what their museum store is the best. This information is on the website. A very small book department. Most souvenirs are not about the museum at all, they can be bought in a regular store.

Loved it! The kids workshops are the best look for them during festivals. Make sure you register in advance! Parking likely to be an issue try to arrive in public transport if you can. Some exhibitions could be a little more interesting and interactive.

The Museum consists of open-air and indoor parts (pavilions). The Eretz Israel Museum in Tel Aviv is a fascinating museum that tells the story of the land of Israel from its earliest days to the present. There are so many exciting pavilions: Kadman Numismatic Pavilion, Alexander Museum of Postal history and Philately, Ceramics Pavilion, Glass Pavilion, Man and his work Pavilion, and more and more. No words are enough to express unforgettable impressions. Start with the glass pavilion, which doesn’t look like much from the outside but is beautifully renovated inside. Then head to the ceramic pavilion, the fascinating (if you’re into history) coins pavilion, and the new exhibit on Baron Rothschild. Museum contains historical exhibitions mixed with contemporary art. Historical exhibitions are pretty old, was renovated a long time ago. A very impressive collection of contemporary art and design, exploring personal and social impact of modern life and consumerism on ourselves and on our environment.highly recommended to visit.

Start with the glass pavilion, which doesn’t look like much from the outside but is beautifully renovated inside. Then head to the ceramic pavilion, the fascinating (if you’re into history) coins pavilion, and the new exhibit on Baron Rothschild. Not all the pavilions are open (a sign that they’re doing necessary renovations) but still definitely worthwhile. The amount of artifacts and texts can be overwhelming, but those who are claiming there’s nothing to see here are way off. Finally, the cafe beside the ancient mosaics is lovely. You can order takeaway and bring it to the tables on the grass...

I have visited many museums in Israel but never been here. Some things were interesting but nothing stood out for me. If you have a free few hours and you have never been here then visit.

Multiple boring pavilions, then suddenly we came upon their ceramic / glass pavillion which is full of gorgeous glass work from the ancient world. This is the best collection you will ever see

This is my first time and it was wow! It is a must visit if you want to know what Israel look like before the great building. You could also check some biblical truths there like the story of Samson in the Bible.

Nice and interesting exhibitions! Something for everyone. We came on a Friday and didn't have the time to see everything before closing time 14:00 (we came at 11), so there is plenty to see. There is a large gift shop and a café. We had coffee and lunch, the food and the coffee were good.

Cashier charged my card 3 times claiming it didn't go through first 2 times. So I paid 3 times. He didn't give a damn, first denying and then claiming there was nothing he could do. The worst kind of Israeli costume service indifference. The museum is a strange place, a mix of random collected stuff of minor interest, housed in a collection of buildings with the charm of a 1975 army barrack. Avoid, and if you go, watch what you are charged

It was intense thought, worthy! All three exhibitions are a must and it’ll take just 2 hours: 1. “We No Longer Feel the Future” and the works of Zhanna Kadyrova, Zoya Cherkassky and 10 other Ukrainian artists reflecting on the invasion of Ukraine on canvas. 2. “Local Testimony” - Israeli, South American and other worldwide ongoing realities on photos. 3) “1200 degrees” - a miracle of uranium transformation!

A captivating blend of art, music, and design at this museum. The Raw Tapes music label celebrated their 15th anniversary alongside a mesmerizing exhibition from Shenkar Design School. The curated playlist created a vibrant atmosphere, while the innovative designs and thought-provoking artworks left a lasting impression. Don't miss this dynamic fusion of creativity!

Plenty of things to see and do, great getaway place in the hot summer. The planetarium experience was not as informative and exciting as expected

It was a fun visit. More for adults, but with a proper approach kids enjoyed it as well. The staff was very supportive and the price for families is cheap - Kids go in free.

Honestly an amazing museum with great exhibits. Has text in Hebrew and English and sometimes Arabic. It is also very wheelchair accessible!

It's an interesting very well explained and curated museum, presenting the various craftsmanship throughout the ages in Israel and the fertile crescent. Such as coins, pottery, glass and bronze making. Sadly not very publicized, and of the beaten track.

Exhibits are quite well labeled in both Hebrew and English. Modern art is integrated with antiquities in interesting (and sometimes puzzling and amusing) ways. If you need a parking place at the museum, we recommend arriving 30 minutes before it opens!

Large territory but partly under reconstruction. Not everywhere clear is it prohibited to pass or not. Excavations of an ancient settlement are underway and presented. Several exhibition halls present different flavor of people art and culture (ceramic, glass, coins, agriculture and craftsman tools) Most visited is exhibition of modern photo

It's a sweet smallish museum, spread out over a number of pavilions (so be prepared for walking outside). We found the exhibitions themselves to be very interesting though we felt the wall and showcase descriptions could be more informative. The place is clean, outside gardens hold interesting archaeology finds, there are several restrooms and a very nice gift shop. The planetarium was closed - apparently operates on weekends and for groups midweek. It's also very easily accessible by public transportation including the train.

Exhibitions turn into video exhibit. Little data next to the dusty/ abandoned exhibits. Didn't connect.

Not kid friendly aside from the price. Very limited exhibits actually open to the public Staff wants the place to run like a library...keep quiet and don't touch anything. Why let kids in at all...they are going to do just that...make noise and touch everything. Very disappointing. Not what I expected.

We had a creative, flavorful light lunch at the bar. It's a little hard to find, even with Google Maps. An English menu is available. And I don't believe that there was an outdoor sign identifying the restaurant.

Love the garden and the changing exhibitions. Great events like sunset beer and exhibition dialogue on important topics. They made a good change and I hope more and more young people will come and get exposed to art.

Atmospheric museum with charming grounds. The permanent exhibitions are very good. I visited the Photomenta exhibition and was lucky to catch the guided tour. Later on there was a Greek singer who had everyone rocking, and a good food stall. Previously there was an evening featuring Tav Cafe and the evening was really magical. Often there are Cathedra lectures in the auditorium which is lovely too. Artsi cafe adjoining the museum shop is ambient and cozy with a pretty good menu. This is one of my two favourite museums in Tel Aviv, the other being the Tel Aviv Museum of Modern Art.
