An extensive educational and mind broadening experience, scrolling through the last centuries of the region with the flora and fauna, unfortunately many extinct now. Going back in time starting with the ancient history before human kind - some dinosaurs, birds, mammals, fish and other sea creatures, spiders insects such as beetles, moths and butterflies, etc. Great explorers collections' from the early 20th century. Special human development floor exhibition since Lucy. Climate change impact, human pollution, extinction of species and much more. If you'd like to scan all the treasures you should spend at least 3 hours there.

Very nice! Wonderful reception and staff in general are very friendly and helpful. If you're like us and like to read the explanation for the things you see in a Museum, you'd better spare about 3 hours to really look and interact with everything you'll find there. Attention that there are four floors of exhibition, and all of them are worth the visit. Tickets must be bought on the Museum website, and you can comfortably do it through your phone when you arrive there, seeing it's not a crowded place, so you don't need to buy it in advance. They have discounted prices for families. The Museum is interesting for people of all ages. The Souvenir store is a bit pricey, but you can find nice things there! We've bought "The Natural History Book - the ultimate visual guide to everything on Earth", which is a really awesome 664 real pictures totally illustrated + text book! Really recommend the visit!

Spend about two and a half hours with my 6 year old son and 2.5 year old daughter. My son really enjoyed our time at the museum, and he found everything to be very interesting. You can't drink or eat at the museum, but there's a balcony on the second floor where you can sit down to eat. Highly recommend!

It was an unexpectedly pleasant surprise. Going to this museum I did not expect such well organized and beautifully made areas and exhibits. Glazed different habitats of flora, which can be recognized in details on the electronic tablet next to it. Small video clips with different subtitles in a mini-cinema on a topic corresponding to the visited zone. Large interactive map-table showing changes in the state of nature of the country(for example, the chronology of excess fishing, or animal migration). Or a hall with an anthill, in which a real colony lives. And next to which there is a stand with an artificial one, where various details of the existence of an anthill in nature are marked and described. There are other interesting "live aquariums" in this room too. There are several stands and examples showing the movements of an animal or bird(you can move the handle and see the movement of a muscle, for example), and a large screen that shows chronology of the spreading of humanity around the World. A very interesting and good museum, tickets to which are not so expensive. We also successfully got to the exhibition: Large photos of insects taken in ultra quality and close-up. Failed to take a picture, the light shone unsuccessfully.

An extraordinary experience. Supports 3 languages: Hebrew, English and Arabic. The exhibits are stunning, the staff are very helpful and can tell you a lot about the things shown on each floor. There are vending machines and a place to have a snack. A gift shop and a deck to enjoy the view. Adjacent to the botanical and zoological TA-UNI gardens (you can book a group tour). There are 4 accessible floors there, so consider visiting all of them. When you finish your tour on the 4th floor and an elevator down to the 0 level, have a look at the exhibit on your left (it's left of the gift shop and down some stairs, because there are live critters shown there, with interesting info on each one. Very much recommend.

👍 Great museum! Very kid 🧒and family 👪 friendly. Located in the territory of the Tel Aviv University. To visit it, the tickets need to be booked in advance. The museum has permanent and temporary exhibitions. On each floor there's a different thematic. Natural history museum presents insects, wild life🦍, anthropology 💀, ecology♻️ and some modern art 🎨 subjects. Museum has outside terrace with a great view on Tel Aviv. It's also a lunch area. There's also a conference room. And opportunities to book private, group tours. Pre-covid, your could touch many showpieces, which is important for kids, and education. Pre-covid there was also a conference room with kid's activities like puzzles, cubes, drawings etc. Outside the building there's a garden, and some exhibition photos, or Sometimes even an ice cream cart. Plus as a bonus museum has very beautiful and interesting internal shop with tons of original toys, posters, souvenirs etc. Museum building is handicapped friendly and has underground 🚇 parking 🅿. The whole place is very clean, very polite and helpful staff. The missing place is a cafe or a restaurant 🍴 next to it. No breastfeeding room though. But the staff opened a conference room for us 😊 to give us privacy 🔏. Very thankful for that 🙏. I wish high standard museum like this would be in every big city of Israel. And I hope this museum would become bigger.

This is a wonderful, modern, Museum, very well presented. It mainly covers the fauna and flora in the 5 very different ecosystems in Israel - what is there now and what was there in the past - but also animals from all over the world. One section compares and contrasts how different animals have developed to fit into their environment, for instance how birds beaks are adapted to fruit or live animals or carrion. All the kids I saw there were so fascinated by the displays and there was a lot for the adults to enjoy too

This nature museum has a variety of animals, the biggest of them is a brown syrian bear, which many years ago walked freely in the area. Most of these animals like birds or nocturnal animals you can't easily see in nature nor in the zoo, so it is important and interesting. I want to emphasize that all the animals here were donated after they found their natural end and that all the employees care a lot about animals and the environment, and they gladly explain (only if you ask them) what we can do to help animals in our surroundings. The museum explains the effects of plastic pollution and climate changes, it has a show room with living insects, and some nice interactive displays for the kids. It is a bit small but surely worth a visit, I recommend you plan 2.5 hours more or less for this place.

What a great museum! Thoroughly interesting and geared up to both little children and adults. There are even display cabinets with live insects in them! There are also lots of displays with stuffed animals, making things almost come to life. As adults, we spent 1.5 hours there. Even though there were lots of kids because it was holiday time, it wasn't crowded because entry is restricted to certain numbers. You need to purchase your tickets online for a certain time period e.g. 14:15. We didn't know when we got there about buying online but it was easy to buy off their website via our phones.

Great museum with beautiful, educational exhibitions. It's not too large, which makes it easy to navigate. My kids aged 11 and 13 loved the experience. Please note : there is no ticket office, and tickets need to be purchased online.

A good natural history museum with many interactive areas, suitable for kids and adults. We started from the 3rd floor and it took about 2.5 hours to see everything. The only inconvenience is that the museum is pretty crowded - there was a 10 minutes queue already at 11AM on Saturday. And there is no ticket office there - buy tickets in advance at their site or you will have to do it with your mobile at the entrance. On the other hand it was still possible to find a free parking space nearby. Do recommend visiting if you like the nature. And do not miss the live insects exhibition on the ground floor!

The museum is big, very nice, interesting and well organized. There is a Sukkah. There is a parking (about 30 nis). The same parking is also good for the botanical gardens. I recommend!

The museum is small and great for all ages and accessible. It starts from the lowest life forms with live bugs and insects then climbs the levels to larger and larger animals. Culminating with humans. My kids especially loved the bugs and there were also interactive displays

Very nice. Could use some additional things to be truly outstanding. For example, I know that many prehistoric human remains have been found in israel, but there is only one original in the museum. The taxidermy is very cool.

One of the most beautiful museums I have visited in Israel. A large variety of animals with explanations and professional guides. A wonderful experience for the family. There are also exhibitions on the upper floors - very recommended!

A bit too crowded during Succoth's vacation, but really interesting and fun exhibitions for my hard-to-leave-the-phone 10 years old teenager. All in all, a great afternoon option

We went there a family of 4 with two kids, 4.5 and 7.5 years old. Lovely museum. Well built and designed. Leads the visitor easily through all the different exhibitions. Boasts of many interactive activities for the kids, that kept them engaged through the whole visit. For 40 nis per person, it's a great way to hang out with the kids and learn a thing or two. Oh, and the staff is very helpful and kind.

Bottom line - must visit! ⭐️ The nature museum was a great place to visit on a weekend morning; I was truly surprised. The place holds four stories of interesting exhibitions on a variety of subjects. The diversification of animals and insects presented was just magnificent! There were also many integrated interactive activities for kids that were carefully designed to fit the audience. ♿️ The facility was easy to explore and accessible 🅿️ Easy parking in the underground parking lot All and all, that was a great experience. 👌🏼

We visited in a rainy day with two kids 5yo and 2yo. Was a great experience! We met Doaa, an employee at the first part she was so nice and patient ! Explained our son about the animals and the presentation. Thanks for a great experience! The little one also enjoyed a lot.

WOW!!! A wonderful display of almost everything in nature, with the emphasis on Israeli Nature. The only drawback: not enough time to see all the 4 floors (including it's videos) in full detail.

I've been to this museum twice. Once on a guided tour of the exhibits and very recently for a sort of party thrown by the Tel Aviv municipality for senior residents. The event was wonderful. I loved the refreshments on the terrace with the open view. The museum is small but displays beautiful exhibits.
