We have been visiting Parrot Farm in Kfar Hess many times. Unfortunately, the place is getting neglected more with a time. Many visitors wrote about unpaved dusty road and ancient smelly buildings. However, the worst thing there is how they treat parrots. The birds just cannot stand with such amount of people, who wants constantly touch them, hold them against bird's will and even punch them, when supervisor is not around. After a "shift", tired birds are returned to very small cages full of dirt, without clean water and a single toy to entertain. Many birds have their flying feathers trimmed in very bad form. Just a suffering for parrots in many ways. I have visited many parrot farms in different countries, and, unfortunately, this one is not the best.

Entry fee is 35₪ ,various of parrots for sale ,you can play with some of them,hold them ,feed them and pet them. They have an area for parrots that not for sale,area for farm animals (ducks,rabbits and more),open area with farm animals that you can feed (goats and ducks),area for playing with parrots for sale and area for playground for kids. Most of the areas are covered from sunlight which is great. Most of the staff are kids from the village that take care of the parrots and the animals. The open hours were comfortable and the parking area was near (2 mins walking) (have space to around 40 cars or more). Very Recommended 😁

This is a nice place to spend one or two hours with the kids, we got there early in the morning (at the opening at 10Am) so it was still not crouded with children, there are 3 main areas, in one area the kids can touch, feed and carry parrots (you can buy food for them at the entrance). In a second area they can pet small rabbits and turtles. In the third area they can touch and feed goats, ducks and even peacocks.

They have guinea pigs, bunnies, chicks and turtles for the kids to hold and pet. There's a 'safari' area where you can feed peacocks, goats, ducks and roosters. Of course, while they're all running around you. The grounds are clean but keep in mind that there's a lot of sand, so be sure to wear closed shoes. It really seems like you are in the wrong place but then you hear the birds! The staff is great and friendly. They love the birds and kids. There are bunnies, ferrets, guinea pigs, peacocks, chickens, pheasants, pigeons, ducks, and all kids of parrots for sale. They have a store where you can buy everything you'll need to care for them. The petting area was so cool to hold all sorts of birds. They have an incubator that you can see the birds in various stages of hatching. There's a small playground and you can create things in clay. We were able to go in to feed the pigeons and collect eggs. It's a farm, it's going to be dirty. My kids had a blast and can't wait to go back.
