The center is a museum dedicated to the life of the assassinated Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. The entry was ₪50 including the audio guide, which mine was glitchy. Every staff member that I encountered starting from the security gate on was either rude, indifferent, or demeaning. The person that was doing the guided tour, which I was not apart of, was so loud that I could not hear my headset over his obnoxious voice. The museum itself is well planned out with mediocre curating that included propaganda reels and replicas. There was a lot of audio and video of Rabin and the sitting room of his home, as it was on the day of his murder. I also liked the timeline of historic global events juxtaposed in parallel to the events that were shaping Isreal as a nation.

I never thought it would be so good. I actually went there by mistake. From the US, I thought I would not care. You walk in a circle and learn of his life in a chronological order and branch off in rooms that tell you what is also happening in the world and in Israel at the same time. I cleaver way to put everything in to prospective. The museum was very honest to the challenges of coexistence. Yofi.

Good exposition, but the solid experience is butchered by the movie at the end (a new-ish addition). The whole idea of this centre serves one purpose: to be the message of peace. It tells the visitors the story of people who don't want to live in war. The creators of the museum kept very respectful stance about history. They told both good and bad about their politicians and military, because with honesty there could be a dialogue, the way to peaceful coexistence. ...But then you can watch a documentary about the Six-Day War, with CG explosions and super-fast cuts. At this speed it's not informative at all, and simply states "our enemies lost a lot of people and we lost only a few, hooray!" Why does it here? It absolutely contradicts the intended message of the museum.

The Yitzhak Rabin Center is a museum and research center in Tel Aviv, Israel, dedicated to the memory of assassinated Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. It was designed by Israeli architect Moshe Safdie and opened in November 2005, on the tenth anniversary of Rabin's assassination. The museum is located on a hill overlooking Hayarkon Park and Tel Aviv, near the Eretz Israel Museum, the Palmach Museum, Tel Aviv University and Beth Hatefutsoth. The center includes a library, archives, research center, museum, and auditorium. The museum's permanent exhibition tells the story of Rabin's life and career, from his childhood in Jerusalem to his assassination. The exhibition includes photographs, documents, and artifacts from Rabin's life, as well as interactive displays and multimedia presentations. The center also offers a variety of educational programs, including lectures, workshops, and tours. The center is open to the public and is free of charge. The Yitzhak Rabin Center is a significant institution in Israel and around the world. It is a place to learn about Rabin's life and legacy, and to promote peace and democracy.

Palestine-Israel history with the eyes of the jews. The museum has a big collection of photographs and the installations are different to everything I have seen before. It is interesting. Unfortunately, the service at the desk was not so great as the exhibition.

Really great museum. Went a week after the anniversary of Rabin’s assassination, which made it even more meaningful. It is a self guided exhibition, with 100s of clips accompanied by audio. It details Rabin’s life from being born right through his life and military/political career, up until his assassination. Very important place to visit.

An excellent museum that's definitely worth visiting to get an overview of Yitzhak Rabin's life and the history of how Israel's current state came to be. The layout and display of information was very good and easy to follow, and while it does seem like a lot to absorb, the mix of audio/visual content helps to keep it engaging. The free audio guide, available in many languages, is automatically activated at each video presented and worked very well. The information was also presented in a factual manner and did not appear to show much bias.

Beautiful exhibition. I was surprised by how well put together it was. The museum does a great job explaining Rabin's life and service while filling in the gaps so that everything is put in context. Rabin was truly an amazing man and it's such a big shame that his life was stolen from him.

(Translated by Google) The center respectfully presents both the important work of Yitzhak Rabin and important periods in the establishment and management of the state in the days when morality and way of life were at a high level. The special tiles on the floor of the place, illustrate to the adults among us in what an innocent world and I started was in our childhood landscape. In my opinion suitable for children from the age of 9 only (Original)

(Translated by Google) We were with 3 children aged 10+, 12, 14 The center is interesting. The booklet we took for a 10-year-old girl is very childish and not so challenging ... There are lots of readings and movies and we did not get to read and see everything. I think the play lacks sonic light for the kids. (For example, the Herzl and Begin Museums) and a pity !!

(Translated by Google) The center has organized activities for children in the summer that include historical topics combined with screens. On 27-8-20 on arrival at the place, already after purchasing the tickets, it turns out that there is a technical fault in some of the screens and you have to wait about half an hour until it is repaired by a technician. After about half an hour it turns out that he has not yet arrived ... in short, even after two hours nothing happened. 1. People pay and buy tickets and canceling the tickets involves a commission that they have to bear. 2. People come from all over the country and plan half a day of such activity. They travel by public transport or in their private car, pay for fuel, food, etc. and finally just a wasted day at unnecessary costs. 3. It is not possible that on holidays in August there is no one who manages this and makes sure that a technician arrives within a quarter of an hour and takes care of fixing it immediately. 4. An immediate notice should be posted on the site that the same activity is disabled and prevent more people from coming and being disappointed. 5. What would have happened if these were not some families affected but 4 school bus buses - did the same reference die even then?

A fantastic museum depicting the birth and development of the Jewish State, at the same time the life and times of Yitshak Rabin. Would like to give it 5 stars but cannot because of problems with the audio. The information often does not correspond withe the video you are looking at,and I battled to put the two together.
