Regardless of your religion or upbringing, this place is a sight to behold. You’ll briefly pass through security and enter into a small promenade. You’ll see the wall. Although I didn’t know this, its a custom to not turn your back on the wall. Try to follow it. Getting to walk up to the wall in a city which is arguably responsible for the start of time is a truly humbling experience. Any message that you write and place in the wall is supposed to be read by God himself. If you are agonistic or atheist, you can appreciate the history and cultural significance of this wall. You will be humbled. If you are religious, you can appreciate the holy magnetism of this site. You will be humbled. Try to make some time to go and visit this amazing site.

You can write your prayers on a scrap of paper and insert it into the holes in the wall. It is an incredibly spiritual place no matter your religion. You will be touched by this place

The Wailing Wall or Western Wall located at the heart of the Old City of Jerusalem is one of those places in the world where you only need to stop, relax and breath all of that mystical atmosphere surrounding you.

This place is very special. It’s one of my favorite places in Jerusalem. It’s a great place to connect and pray to God and interact with the people. If you’re tourist: This is a top attraction for many tourist. It is located in the old city in the Jewish quarter. This place is considered the holiest site in Judaism. It is the remaining wall that was in the court yard which surrounded the second temple. If you decide to go the wall and pray, men go on one side and the woman go on the other. All men are required to wear a kippah or a head covering like a hat. There is a information booth before you get to the wall.

This 2,000-year-old city wall is all the remains of the ancient temple built by Herod. I saw the Wailing Wall, a world cultural heritage, and it was very special that the meaning behind the Jews was truly understood. I saw many Jews come to pray, and I became reverent in my heart when I stood in front of the Wailing Wall .

One the holiest places on Earth for Jews. Hard to describe the feeling, atmosphere, impressions that surrounds you while trying to go back thousand years in time. Usually crowded, quite frequently a bit overcrowded because of tourists, yet magical, mysterious place. Must see to believe. (PS: it'd deserve 10*).

the Western Wall in the old city of Jerusalem is one of the most visited and symbolic places in the city. The wall is what remains of the ancient temple and still the holiest place of worship for Jews.In the cracks in the wall, the Jews put small sheets with prayers written on them.

The whole of Jerusalem is like a great religious place for all the religions of the world. I witnessed how even the greatest atheists feel the special energy and spirituality of this city. It is customary to write a wish on a piece of paper and insert it between the bricks of this wall. Mine came true 🌞❤🍀

Marvellous tip: entering through the Jewish quarter is the best and easy way, different places to eat and the fabulous Rovah and the golden menorah.

Beautiful place of worship that no one should miss. After passing the security check point, you will get to the main plaza and from there you can observe the remaining part of the ancient retaining western wall of the old Jewish temple that is used now for reading of scripture, meditation and prayer. There is a different section for man and woman. For man, anyone can visit it without charge. Washing your hands and wearing a kippa is recommended. Wonderful experience to see how other faiths worship and understand God. Highly recommend.

A place of prayer and reflection. You write your wish onto slips of paper which are then stuffed into the Wall's crevices... kind of like when kids write letters to Santa.

The Wall is located within the old city. There is the place where it takes a few minutes from each gates of the city. The old city is the shape likes small and similar as square shape , we can reach there without maps about there. The entrance from each gates is always crowded with people waiting for security checks. The Wall is still the holiest place of worship for Jewish. Because There is the place for praying ,it's holiest atmosphere. The Sanctuary place for a lot of Jewish worshipers and pilgrims. There is the praying place. So whether you are traveler or not have to wear "kippah", one of Jewish folk costume. That is borrowed in front of the wall. When you are student of Japanese student, Probably you had seen the picture of the Wall on your textbook. I think that There is much smaller than your memory. The wall is height:19m, witdh:57m. The Entry is more higher place than that of the wall. so you can see all view of the wall when you entry into there. If you take travel in Israel, you should go there to see it !! 【in Jan 2018】

One of Israel’s most holly places. The western wall of the old temple “beit hamikdash”. A must see, when you are in Israel . Don’t forget to write your wishes on a note and put it between the bricks .

This place is so beautiful, I have been there only once in my life, in 2018. We were on excursion from Cyprus to Israel. There were so many Jewish people, men in hats with beard and woman in robes . It is quite cute to see that and when we were standing near that wall and like praying to it, I don’t know, I felt strange a little bit. We even thought that there is a free food upstairs somewhere, but we were disappointed. ( it was only for like poor and people in need. Anyway it was cool trip, I think you will have many positive impressions. Thanks for reading my review. P. S. See photo down there!🙃👇👇

One of those places that you must go if you make it to Jerusalem. Clean and serene an experience that will change your life. Experience one of the holiest site in Jewdaism. If you have yet to see it come, dress responsible, and modest. They won't let you in if you're showing too much skin. Also you should act responsible 😉 this is in the end of the day a holy site.

A very important historic place and must see if in Jerusalem. The security is very tight but realistic considering the dangers. Many shops with in a small distance.

I entered on myself. Once or twice, I was asked either I am Jewish, and then, after I sad NO, I was wished a good day and I was left in peace to do whatever I was willing to. Of cause I was respecting all the rules described at the entrance.

Supremely spiritual and powerful experience. Would not consider myself a religious person but in tune with spirit and being a witness Bar Mitzvah celebrations, large groups of prayer, many walks of life. It was the highlight of our 8 day trip to Israel.

The western wall or also known as the wailing wall or just 'the wall' in hebrew (הכותל), is a place of prayer for all. People come from all over the wold just to pray to G-d just outside of where the most holy place in Judaism stood

The most substantial connection I ever felt with Hashem. Reconnecting with an estranged father after experiencing many trials, tribulations, and accomplishments is intense.

This is an extraordinary place hard to put into words. From a tourist stand point it is greatly maintained, height security, Plenty of shaded places to sit.

Absolutely amazing site, connected so much of our Judeo-Christian culture. One day is not enough to grasp the immense amount of spiritual and historical energy in this place, so you'll be coming back for more, and it's not just about the photos, you must take some time to reflect and meditate, you might get, unexpectedly, the answer you've been asking yourself all those years. Amen.

This was my 3rd time went to the Western Wall but this round went deep under the wall to see a big panel of wall made by a piece of super huge rock, wonder how the temple was built and how the people transported the rocks and stones here in the past, there were not a single nail use to bind those huge rocks and stones, marvelous job! Seeing it in awe and wondrous!

Prayer comes from your soul. The western wall has a few sections to release that prayer. Tonight I went to a section that is called Azarat Israel Plaza. It's really beautiful and it can inspire prayer from within. You can then go eat something yummy and there are tons of choices.

Beautiful view of people coming to pray and I loved the most to see Bar-Mitzvah ceremony and the celebration they had while doing it was just amazing to watch. Amidst so many people around if you sit close to the wall it's very quite. Everyone pray and write their prayers and insert it in the wall.
