The hotel is 475 years old. Most of the construction materials are marble and rocks. The wood furniture and trim is real and solid wood. If you like high tech, hollow walls, lament walls and floors, go to another hotel. The food is healthy, fresh, and good tasting. Most of the main attractions are walking distance from this hotel. The service is not perfect but is definitely way above average. The overall environment is friendly and helpful from the employees and from the people who live there.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The service and food were incredible. This had without doubt the best hotel food I've ever had. Homemade Palestinian meals for dinner. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooftop views are something else entirely with stunning views of Dome of the Rock. It's in a wonderfully central location. Rooms are decent. I would love to come back.

This is a nice hotel in the middle of Jerusalem. The rooms are small but that's okay for the location. There is a spacious roof top terrace that is open air and under cover. It is a pleasant place to sit and read or just look out over Jerusalem. It's also a good place to meet and chat with other hotel guests. The hotel is let down by a terribly ordinary breakfast. On the upside you don't have to pay for breakfast if you don't want it. The hotel is closest to Damascus Gate. It's also not too long a walk from Jaffa Gate though I'd only walk from Jaffa Gate with a small carry on sized suitcase or similar.

Compact rooms but otherwise clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hairdryer in bathroom a plus. Need to sort out douch pressure, its such a strong Jet. Great view of the dome of the rock and within walking distance. Ideal spot for a perfect sunrise behind the dome. Not a great choice on food but it was satisfying never the less. The coffee is in the lobby and not in individual rooms. Would go back again.

Excellent location, delicious food, reasonable walking distance to Al Aqsa. Helpful staff, owner is an amazing person and has great knowledge of Al Aqsa, its history etc. Good sized rooms, drinks available 24/7. Ideal hotel to book if visiting Al Aqsa.

Really missing this hotel that we stayed in for 5 days. My time in Jerusalem has been amazing and it wouldn't have been better without Hashimi hotel, who made our stay very comfortable which felt like home. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming, always asking us if we needed anything. The rooms were clean which was the main thing for me. Best thing about this hotel is the rooftop! Amazing views of Al Aqsa and the city which is breathtaking. Overall, hospitality was 11/10! Amazing service, will definitely come back again and will be telling everyone about this hotel!

Location, Location, Location. Great Islamic Hotel only a few minutes from Al-Aqsa Staff here are good practising Muslims, may Allaah increase them in goodness. The breakfast here is great. I would recommend to have the breakfast on the roof rather than the basement. The view from the roof is breath taking. I would love to stay here again and would like a better room please.

I have enjoyed my 2 days stay at this Family hotel. The breakfast was good quality and very rich in option to pick. The service of the hotel very kind and helpful as well. The view of the old town of Jerusalem is breathtaking. I have been in the evening and morning and i love it. My issues was with the rooms soundprove . You can hear in different times of the ours the noise of activity form out side as inside of hotel and can definitely waike you up in the morning or night.

Really enjoyed this place. Views are excellent, just as advertised. Rooftop patio is perfect. 24h coffee and tea. Very walkable to all the sights in the old city. Friendly young man helped us to the room with our bags. Elevator was modern and working. Breakfast did not look great to us (although the price was sure right), so we ate elsewhere in the old city. Would happily return to Hashimi - thanks for having us!

This hotel is located conveniently from Masjid-Al-Aqsa. We had the best room (103) on the ground floor. It was clean overall. Tea/coffee making facilities in the morning and the evening. There are stairs to get to the reception, but life access is available for disabled people. Hotel restaurant was nice and served nice food each day. Staff were attentive. Toilet facilities was OK. A must see Rooftop for the evening tea. Overall, I'd recommend 👌.

Great location and not too far to walk on foot to get to. In the middle of the bustle of stalls, etc, in the narrow streets and very close to main holy attractions. An Islamic hotel that gives ambience and a beautiful view of The Dome of the Rock from a lovely roof top and from your room if lucky. Questions are asked if married, etc. So take note when booking or you will need to get an extra room. A nice haven amongst the hustle bustle to return to offering breakfast or evening dinner in the basement. I really liked this hotel as so hidden, and location, location..convenient with a view too.,.A family run business that will not entertain unmarried couples sharing a room , so remember that to avoid disappointment when booking..

Our favourite hotel. We stay here for the third time. Pleasant service. Incredible view to the dome of the rock from the rooms facing east and from the rooftop bar.

Hotel is the closest to masjid al aqsa, roughly a 5 -10 minute walk to get there. Breathtaking view from the rooftop area where you can see dome of the rock and surrounding areas. Staff at the hotel very polite and courteous, and very happy to support local Palestinians who run the hotel. My stay here was fantastic and amazing all round. This is the only hotel that I plan to stay in the next time I go.

Excellent location. Not a your classically starred hotel but clean and comfortable. No two rooms are the same in size, design and accessibility. Well worth going to regardless.

We loved every thing about this hotel. Excellent terrace view of the Dome of the Rock and the old City. Great location. Highly recommended

The location is great inside the old city and view from the top of the hotel are lovely. Free tea or coffee self service available in lounge but no fresh milk but powder alternative. However this is the only positive thing I can write about this hotel after stay here for 2 Night. What do you want from hotels comfortable bed, clean rooms, quiet corridors, a reliable WIFI connection, and other complimentary toiletries? Well you will not get that here. Noise all through out the night and day. You can hear conversation, phones ringing, people running up the stairs and opening/ closing of front door. This places has no soundproofing. Which means you hear everything in the hotel. This resulting in us having everything difficulty falling asleep. The room was not a clean standard and when staff come into clean like which is expected but only cleaning half the room and not locking the room back up. There are no safes in your room so you have to keep everything on you. Also every time I was near or on bed I was continuously feeling itchy. The bed is rock hard with one pillow. They have 2 different WiFi but both however are poor. Always cutting out or unable to connect. Even when connect ever slow. For non-Muslim guests, this means that unmarried couples have to sleep in separate rooms. Which I can respect. The staff were not helpful and come across as rude. Clear preference for cash, which was shown as multiple people were sent to the ATM because of "issues with the credit card". Worst place I have ever stayed, can't recommend.

Like all Old city hotels you have to walk to this one so don't take too much luggage! The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the Holy Sepulchre and maybe 10 minutes from the Temple Mount. It is easy to find from either the Damascus or Jaffa gates. There are great views of the Dome of the Rock from the roof terrace and breakfast was very good value. Our room was smaller than I'd have locked but it had enough power sockets and wifi was good. The only downside for us was the noise - not external noise but the other guests. We stayed 2 nights and both times were woken repeatedly through the night by people shouting and slamming doors. We were always up and gone by 7AM but we were woken between 3 and 5 constantly by inconsiderate guests.

The staff at Hashimi hotel were amazing. The cleaners and the servers are brilliant, so respectful, kind and they go out of their way. Rooms are cleaned daily, the food was beautiful and the interior is perfect. The location of this hotel is on point, it's walking distance from Al-Aqsa and in the middle of everything. You come out and you're straight into the busy alleyway of Jerusalem. I would highly recommend this hotel. The rooftop view alone is worth every single penny and so much more.

Brilliant Hotel, staff were amazing, ready to go above and beyond for your every need! Beautifully placed within the old city and has an absolutely amazing view of the Al-Aqsa complex along with the only unrestricted view of ‘Rome of the Rock’.

They gave me a room with damp on the ceiling and it was dripping. I asked them to give me another room but they ignored me. The hotel manager doesn't take your concerns into concideration. I am very disappointed with the service. I would never come back to this hotel.

Very small rooms, A/C didn't work well. Gave up and went to another hotel. They have a very nice rooftop, with great view on the old city and the dome

Great location close to Al-Aqsa about 5-7 min walk, service overall was good, breakfast was good, evening meal was fixed so no choice but was tasty. Our double room was on the 2nd floor was small and we had no storage space...only compliant.. Hotel provides laundry service plus provides Iron as well upon request.. Room cleaning was good...done everyday. Hotel reception provided free Tea/Coffee/water View from roof terrace was great a plus..

Nice location in Old Town, be prepared to haul your luggage through Old Town. Hindsight, I would have preferred something right on the outside of Old Town, simply not to haul my luggage threw the crowded hilly parts of Old Town. The rooftop view was incredible and the service was great. Bathrooms had mold in shower corners, but the rest was clean and acceptable.

Fantastic hotel! I stayed here for one night and it was the perfect base for me. The team were super helpful, helping me book onward travel. Very clean, great breakfast and the roof has spectacular views of Al Aqsa and is a lovely place to relax.

Hashimi hotel located middle of old Jerusalem...near aqsa. Hotel rooms is little small. Hotel service is good. Breakfast is not how you expect . Poor.

This place is located in Suq khan Al zait, old city Jerusalem. We visited the Terrace there, there is an entrance fee of 15 NIS, and if you would like to drink something, you have to order it from outside using the hotel services, it will cost you about 5 NIS e.g for coffee. The view is amazing, suitable for families and couples. However, it could be much better if they provide these services by the hotel itself....

We loved everything about our stay. Location was so cenral and within a walking distance everywhere we wanted to go to in the old city of Jerusalem. Room were so clean, comfortable beds. The view was astonishing especially from the rooftop. We enjoyed having coffee there. Above all , we felt safe and well taken care of by the staff and especially by Abed . We will definitely be back and bring our friends along.

In one word, Best. Best Hotel I've stayed at, in all my travels across the world. For starters, the staff under manager Sal are beyond phenomenal, courteous and swift with their service. Moreover, the breakfast is second to none and their Chef is gifted. The view of the room is powerful of Dome of Rock and half the city. Been here 2 weeks now and I don't want to leave. Thank you for having my back and being amazing.
