Stayed
for
5
nights
with
one
of
my
adult
daughters
in
a
Deluxe
Pasha
room.
Despite
being
a
little
tired
in
places,
this
is
definitely
a
5-star
experience.
The
service
is
prompt
and,
with
a
couple
of
moments
to
the
contrary,
quite
pleasant.
We
had
2
issues
with
the
room
(the
bathtub
leaked
while
draining
and
the
lock
broke
on
the
exterior
door
to
the
terrace),
both
of
which
were
dealt
with
immediately.
House
keeping
was
very
efficient.
The
room
was
generous
with
a
small
exterior
terrace.
It
was
both
comfortable
and
welcoming.
The
bathroom
was
fabulous,
with
endless
hot
water,
something
I
very
much
appreciate.
The
decor
is
a
little
dated,
but
still
elegant.
The
bed
was
extremely
comfortable.
The
upgrade
to
the
Deluxe
Pasha
seemed
worth
it.
The
restaurant
is
good
with
ridiculously
generous
portions,
but
nothing
noteworthy,
especially
given
the
price
point.
There
are
a
couple
of
good
restaurants
within
reasonable
walking
distance,
but
it
is
not
necessarily
the
most
inviting
environment
at
night,
so
we
did
wind
up
eating
at
the
hotel
one
night.
The
gym
is
small
but
well-equipped,
and
the
sauna
was
a
nice
luxury.
We
also
got
massages
in
the
Wellness
Center
which
were
reasonably
priced
and
far
better
than
my
previous
experiences
with
hotel
spas.
It
was
worth
the
visit.
Ultimately,
the
charm
of
the
place
lies
in
the
fact
that
it
really
is
a
delightful
oasis
in
the
middle
of
Jerusalem.
The
grounds
are
lovely
and
provide
multiple
places
to
just
enjoy
the
sun
or
share
a
drink.
In
all,
I
am
thankful
I
chose
the
American
Colony.
If
I
ever
wind
up
in
Jerusalem
again,
I
would
come
back
without
hesitation.
