Stayed here on a short trip. Not too difficult to get in/out via train/bus using Google Maps. Design of the lobby is very unique. Beds are comfortable and good sized. Rooms are pretty small but perfectly adequate for a short stay. No dedicated chair and desk but they have the co-working space with coffee, I also turned the sofa chair around and used the coffee/table as a temporary desk. They did honor the free breakfast and 4pm late checkout without fuss during check-in as a Marriott Titanium. They wanted 300 shekels to extend the check-out further but they offered free facility (gym/pool/restaurant/co-working) space for free after check-out for the day for free. Gym equipment is truly top notch and the sauna and steam room is AMAZING. Temperature is high and extremely enjoyable. I don't understand why they close the pool so early though. The water is not super warm, no hot tub. Breakfast spread has an interesting layout, it is egg heavy for hot protein options but the cheese selection is nice and the salads are quite tasty. Enjoyed the chocolate croissant quite a bit too.

We stayed at Israel Publica for eleven nights (for pleasure) in May 2023. We found this hotel to be in a good location between the beach and the Herzliya Train Station. Breakfasts were excellent. The Filipino dining room staff (especially LynLyn, Louri, Fani, and Michelle) were delightful and engaging. I regret to report that the non-Filipino staff seemed to be more interested in socializing amongst themselves, flirting with guests (such that they ignored other guests needing to ask a question), and checking their iPhones (more than you would expect for hotel-related communications); they were unengaged and generally unhelpful. For example, the front desk staff made errors at check in (they over-charged our eleven nights because of "a glitch in our system"), they needed help from upper management to break a 100 shekel note to a smaller denomination and to print a mid-stay statement, and they failed to manage the woman in the room next to us that, despite our repeated requests for help, continued her agonizingly loud communication from 10:00 pm to 2:30 am and to smoke (to a degree that we could smell it in our room -- even though it was a non-smoking hotel). The other issues were minor and, in themselves, inconsequential but, when considered cumulatively, they just communicated a lack of follow through and consistency. For example, there were several days where our towels were not changed. On other days, our bottle of drinking water was not replenished. Our requests to fill the Shampoo-Conditioner and Shower Gel dispensers (fixed to the wall in the shower) went unaddressed for days. If you stay in the area, do consider dinner at Lola Martin (across the street); it's absolutely outstanding.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Isrotel Publica. The room was perfect for what I needed, great amenities, breakfast is absolutely fantastic and the rooftop pool would be great. I was unfortunately their during December so the pool was too cold to swim in.

I did, however, have some specific issues: pool closed (without known prior to arrival), lack of communication about what is available to me (lounge - did know there was one until check out). Everyone was quite nice. Solid morning breakfast. Location was fine, though a bit far from Tel-Aviv. Also, the room have nearly zero outlets and there are no hooks for towels in the bathroom (so strange).

Based on my experience during my recent stay, I would not recommend the Marriott Publica Isrotel in Israel. Despite its claim to be an Autograph Collection hotel, neither the rooms nor the service meet the requirements. During my stay, I encountered several small issues that could not be resolved by the staff, who seemed unaware of company policy or how to adequately provide customer service. The atmosphere was unwelcoming, giving off the impression that guests were lucky to be in their presence and paying to stay. The room itself was very basic, with views similar to that of a Fairfield Inn. Despite attempting to have three issues resolved during my stay, none were successfully addressed, with staff providing made-up reasons for why they couldn't be solved. While I have stayed in several Marriott hotels in the past and have brand loyalty, I will never stay at this location again.

Cons: as many hotels in Israel - the interior and design are nice but no proper upkeep of the rooms, the shower has an obvious design flaw as the water flows out to the room and why allow outsiders in with such a small pool? Brings down the level of the hotel. And the rooms were pretty small. Would I come back? Maybe, but not in July-August when it overflows with locals.

Stayed here for a week on business. Front desk was very friendly and helpful when I asked for help with navigating public transportation to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Room was just the right size, comfortable bed and huge shower. Amazing breakfast buffet! If I ever find myself in Herzliya again I will definitely return.

The breakfast is easily the best part of the experience - an elaborate spread that all but guarantees that you start your day on a full stomach.
