I
cannot
speak
highly
enough
of
the
Arthur
Hotel.
The
hotel
is
part
of
the
Atlas
group,
which
has
a
number
of
hotels
in
Israel.
The
group
is
focussing
on
smaller,
boutique
style
hotels
in
central
areas.
Their
hotels
are
notable
for
great
service
and
little
extras,
such
as
a
happy
hour.
The
rooms
at
the
Arthur
aren't
huge,
but
they're
big
enough.
The
rooms
are
modern,
well
appointed,
spotlessly
clean,
and
consistently
maintained.
Air
conditioning
and
quiet
and
works
well.
The
beds
are
exceptionally
comfortable.
In
the
bathroom
there
is
a
range
of
shower
products.
One
suggestion
for
improvement
would
be
some
more
shelf
space
for
storing
bathroom
products.
The
staff
at
the
Arthur
are
exemplary:
young,
friendly,
helpful,
and
accommodating.
Faultless.
As
for
the
breakfast,
which
is
part
of
the
deal,
wow!
The
breakfast
features
a
lot
of
local
delicacies.
Everything
is
freshly
prepared
and
delicious,
including
eggs
done
multiple
ways.
You
can
also
get
excellent
espresso
coffee.
I
was
particularly
taken
by
the
range
of
teas
that
can
be
freshly
brewed
in
clever
litte
teapots.
At
5.00pm
all
guests
can
partake
of
the
happy
our.
A
range
of
complementary
mezze
and
snacks
are
provided,
along
with
white
wine,
red
wine,
juices,
tea
and
coffee.
I
believe
that
every
Atlas
hotel
does
this,
and
it's
a
terrific
idea.
Really
nice
to
sit
down
and
take
the
edge
off
after
a
big
day
exploring
this
magnificent
city.
The
Arthur
is
brilliantly
located
about
1k
from
the
Jaffa
gate
to
the
old
city
in
a
very
vibrant
and
exciting
area
with
many
bars,
shops,
cafes,
and
restaurants.
You
really
couldn't
get
a
better
location.
If
I
ever
return
to
Jerusalem--and
I
hope
I
do--I
wouldn't
consider
staying
anywhere
else.
