I have had a fantastic stay here! The service is wonderful and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied and taken great care of while staying. They even provided adaptors for our electronics which was fantastic with our phones and electric items because I forgot to bring mine. The hotel is clean workout room excellent and pool area and sun deck very inviting and peaceful. We have had a wonderful time and that is saying a lot because I am a Mom with 2 teenagers. They have been smiling and laughing and have very much enjoyed the friendliness of the delight people that are here providing excellent service and care of the guests. Two of the servers Nour and Nasser have been particularly attentive and fun to be around!

Not so friendly staff. Bedding is really bad. Food is mediocre. Location is good… that’s it… No concierge service, neither the front desk employees are helpful. Our first room was infested with ants, the moved us to another one. Allegedly “better” with a view to a roof top. One person was ver attentive and professional, an that was the manager at the bar Waleed. Other than that I would never stay at this hotel again

The rooms are larger than I expected and the location is better than good. Breakfast was varied and everything was first rate. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Now the negative. The place is dated from furnishings to structural. It needs refreshing. Cleanliness was not a problem with my room but was with some of my friends. Overall reasonable value for the money

From booking thru checkout the experience was flawless, staff at every level was pleasant, presentable, accessible, and accommodating! It was one of many visits to this hotel and we feel pampered and at home in the familiar atmosphere, and the gift this visit for my husbands 75th birthday was a room on the 17th floor with a view of the bay and Haifa that was breathtaking. Thank you Dan Panorama

Have stayed at the Dan Panorama Jerusalem on several occasions. We had a great room on 5th floor and there was still plenty of space for 3 guests. Very comfortable beds, plenty of storage space and a bathroom with bath plus walk in shower. Requested more towels on Saturday night which never came :( Breakfast needs updating and is not on par with the Dan Panorama Tel Aviv. There is no food as such in the business lounge, just the same nuts, sweet treats, fruit & vegetables. There’s a cheese board but only 1 type of cracker which was stale as it was not covered. Would be great to have the option of a choice of crackers or even bread to go with the cheeses. Also cookies or cake to go with the coffee. We will definitely be going back again but would love for the little issues to be solved. One person who definitely needs a shout out is Saloom at the reception. He has the patience of a saint and is very professional. Although we started off on a bad foot we ended up as best friends. He will go far…..

Wonderful stay in a great section of the city. Just a 15 minute walk to Jaffa gate, and situated between lovely gardens, shopping, and restaurants. Extremely family friendly. The hotel staff, especially Hamish Rahman and the restaurant staff, made a point of greeting us daily and providing me, my wife, and our young children service with a smile. Can't wait to come back!

I wanted to take my father on a special trip, just the two of us. Our trip to Israel was made extra special by the staff at Dan Panorama Jerusalem. The front desk staff that checked us in was spectacular, and subsequent times that we encountered them, we were always greeted by name and a smile, which impressed us! Our rooms were cleaned and replenished daily in a perfect fashion! Since we were here four days, Mr. Naim Gool and his staff in the restaurant made it a point to remember drinks that we preferred with our meals, and would get them for us without asking for a reminder! We are our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel, since we toured during the day. The food selection was wonderful, and we enjoyed every time we ate! The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to many local destinations. We enjoyed ourselves so much, that I’ve told my children, who are in their 20s, that I wish to return with them! Thank you so much for making our first trip to Israel one that will never be forgotten!

Good service staff very helpful. It would of been nice if they would of have an ice machine on one of the floors for all those staying could get ice anytime. Hotel said need to go to bar for ice but sometimes bar was closed so unable to get ice for medical needs.

Belly full, lots tasty options! Love the cold traditional salads and the potatoes & rice are always en pointe; I’ve probably put on 10 pounds. Seriously. I have enjoyed the service - Naim G. is very personable, accommodating and helpful! On my way to get some Ice Cream and coffee… again :)

We were there for 4 days. Generally It was a nice experience. The staff is welcoming and effective. Naim Gool is the head water and took care for everything that we need with most sensitive treatment. The hotel is very clean and quiet.

Mr. Noor in the business lounge was so accommodating. He anticipated everything we wanted and provided us with exceptional service and a smile. He never made us feel like we were an imposition and was very friendly. The rooms were a little worn in the bathroom but that would be the only negative. Service was excellent.

I'm just going to say this, this is by FAR, the best Hotel I've ever been to and I wish to stay way more longer. Also, there was a cat in front of the Hotel so I give it 6 Stars and the food was so delicious. Even the Manager was really nice to everyone he met so he's the best. One more thing to say is that the Chefs Waiters, cleaning services, and everyone over there did their greatest to serve us Romanians at your hotel, Thank you. -Matthew Jason Manea

The food service was amazing. The manager, Naim and his staff (including Wajdi), added personal touches to make our experience memorable. The pool was lovely and the water was kept at a relaxing temperature. Overall, we enjoyed the service we received during our stay. Our room was fairly small, but the room service always made our room a welcoming space to walk into after a long day of adventuring out around the city.

Generally a nice hotel. Very conveniently located to both the Old City and the New City, restaurants, parks, and shopping. You can easily and safely walk to most places you want to go, including the 4 quarters of the Old City, Jaffe Gate, and Western Wall. Rooms are large, well appointed, and modern. Rooms located in the new tower are less 10 years old and some have king-sized beds. Breakfast is served from 6:30-10:00 AM. If your tour leaves early, you can request a box breakfast and pick it up at reception. There is plenty of tasty, nutritious food in the box to start your day off right. The hotel has a nice pool and sunbathing deck on the roof with beautiful neighborhood views. My only complaint about the hotel is that the pool closes at 5 pm. After a day of sightseeing, it would be nice to escape the heat and relax by taking a refreshing dip in the pool. However, most tours return you to the hotel between 5-5:30 pm so you don't get to use the pool. I think the pool should be open until at least 7 pm in the summer. For that reason alone, I will select a different hotel next time. I want/need my pool time!

We just spent the weekend here and had a wonderful time. The dining manager, Naim, was particularly attentive and helpful. He continuously popped out on nowhere asking if he could help with anything! Such a pleasure! Highly recommend this hotel for food and stay!

Variety of foods on the buffet, and they are all good quality! Delicious and service is prompt and polite. Rooms are spacious, luxurious, showers are strong water pressure. No problems at all with anything. Naim Gool is the manager and he does a great job.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay here! The location seemed pretty central and was walking distance to the street mall and old city. The rooms were clean and the beds were cozy. Food was was amazing and Naim managed it beautifully and helped make sure our every need was met - right down to making sure we got our ice cream. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was fantastic! The staff is excellent and truly goes beyond expectations. Dinner - we had a light meal in the bar area. The service was outstanding! Our food was tasty and brought out quickly. The hot chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was absolutely delicious. We look forward to our next visit.

Maim Gool is one of the best managers. I have experience on my time here in Israel. The food was magnificent. The service was outstanding. This is made my stay here for more superior than most places I’ve ever stayed.

Great hotel not too far from Jaffa gate, old city Jerusalem. Yassin in the dining area was great to us, along with the rest of the staff. Only downside, the pool closes at 5pm, after a long tour I didn't get a chance to check it out 😞 other than that great hotel

I was in Dan Panorama on a business trip and I had a great time. The location is great, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was friendly and very helpful with everything. Big shout out to the guest manager Oded who was absolutely delightful and made my stay even better.

We had a wonderful experience at the Dan Panorama! Our room was perfect- very clean and well equipped- we travelled with a group of 22 and all felt welcomed and enjoyed helpful and friendly service. Captains Hmada and Naim in the dining room went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Dining room service was kind and attentive. Every meal was fresh and delicious! The hotel is located close to the Old City and we walked to and from several times. Hopefully we will return to Jerusalem and enjoy another stay at the Dan Panorama.

My entire family and wife's family recently traveled to Israel for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. 26 people total. We spent the first 4 days of our trip at the Dan Panorama in Jerusalem. Our experience with the Dan Panorama was absolutely fantastic. First of all, the staff - from the people at the front desk, to the dining hall staff, to the events manager - were all totally service oriented and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Every single person who worked there were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff at this hotel should be very proud of the experience they are giving their guests. The room was nice but slightly dated. Totally not a big deal but just being straight that it's not the most modern room. But who cares. The rooms were clean, large enough and had everything we needed. The location is excellent being centrally located and a decent walking distance from the various places in Jerusalem you'd want to visit. The food (breakfast and dinner) is above average and has tons of variety. Best of all, we had my daughter's Bat Mitzvah dinner on the 11th floor private dining hall with a huge balcony overlooking the city of Jerusalem. The view is outstanding. The amount of food was ridiculous and very reasonably priced for the ridiculous amount of food and dessert that was served. Again, the staff were so friendly and helpful. It was a truly pleasurable experience and I give my heartfelt thanks to all the staff who helped make it happen. My only regret is that we didn't start the dinner earlier (my fault) so that we could enjoy more time on that balcony. Anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion in Jerusalem would be well served to have their event here.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay while visiting the Holy Land for the fourth time. Our room was both comfortable and clean. The food was always delicious; the service was exceptional: Naim Good as well as Hmada consistently go the extra mile.

Naim (manager of the Dining room) took great care of us. Made sure we had everything we needed and brought extra special treats for the kids. Hotel rooms were very comfortable, and pool was well shaded. Gym needs updating.

The hotel is beautiful, the dining service is very attentive. Wonderful selection of food for breakfast & dinner. They have a pool on the 8th floor which was a welcome sight at the end of a day full of sightseeing. I have not been disappointed!

We have many great things to say about the Dan Panorama Hotel. But for now, our host at the breakfast buffet, Hamis Rahman, is someone to point out. He brought my son, who is having a bar mitzvah service at the Western Wall, gift chocolate. Hamis also brought over orange juices after the machine was refilled. Fantastic service, friendly and a great host!

We had a GREAT stay at the Dan Panorama Jerusalem! The hotel is aging, but they’ve been keeping it up pretty well. The location is EXCELLENT! Walking distance to the Old City, Shopping on Jaffa St, shopping in Old City near Holy Sepulchre Church, Station 1 for dinner and night life…and more! The dining is SUPERB. NAIM runs a tight ship in the dining room - the food is plentiful and varied each day, constantly resupplied, the room is clean and neat and fancy. The pool is small, open until 6:00pm (they actually started closing it down at 5:45 each evening). Overall, it was a great experience and we would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Great location Good rooms, not new but very clean. Professional staff and perfect hospitality. Dining room food is great, and the head of the dining room Naim, was always at our service and helped the groups and everyone else .

I brought a group of 26 to the Dan panorama for a tour of Jerusalem. The rooms, food, service and location was above expectations at every turn! Naim was the food and service manager and went above and beyond every time we had a meal! Yassin was a server and made balloons for the kids and made sure we were happy always. I couldn’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our experience at the DP! We will be back 🤗

We have been in Panorama with Naim Gool, manager dining room. He has been an excellent professional, very kindness with us, and providing all what we need. We have no words to explain his elegance and service. A top in Dan Panorama !!!

Naim the manager of the dining room was very hospitable and helpful . Buffet food very good. My wife and I notified the Duty Manager Oded Amiel that the air conditioner wasn’t working properly and it was extremely hot in the room. Without hesitation Amiel was a credit to his profession and immediately reassigned us to another room and made sure we were taken care of. The reassigned room was perfect as one would expect for a 5 star hotel and so was the staff under the management of Amiel. Naim seated us in the dining room for the 2nd night here and I felt like he was an old friend when he saw us coming back . Love this place. Highly recommended. Thank you Amiel and Naim for a great stay here in Jerusalem.

Even though this is not a beachfront hotel, the location is near historical sites, a botanical garden, near many restaurants and eateries and small shopping venues. The hotel itself has a modern interior, a great friendly front desk staff and expedient courteous room service.

Being my first time in Israel, Dan Panorama was a great choice. The location, service and rooms were outstanding and all staff members were extremely helpful. I would like to give a special thanks to the receptionists especially Elna (all went above and beyond to make our vacation even more special). Unfortunately, there is only one member of staff, 'Walid', who was disappointing as he was rude and lacked good customer service.

We did Quarentine here. Super hotel. Very nice people, great service. Even though we were not paying clients, they stayed professional and we had a good time. We did the full 7 days there even though we could ho home after 3 days

Switching the hotel to the military one with zero service and not clean rooms, no kitchen, minibar without cooling, no basic dishes in the room, no winter blanket, pillows really uncomfortable. The staff that worked there was really overloaded. Number of workers do not meet the needs of the hotel. I understand that this is COVID time, but some minimal service was expected. Sorry guys, but the current management doesn't deserve more than two stars.

Awesome! The hotel has a lovely atmosphere the common areas are inviting and comfortable. The dinning room has a wonderful abundance of food choices, breakfast is excellent in the Israeli tradition. My single room was somewhat small but had a lovely view overlooking the new city. Service requests wee answered immediately and with utmost courtesy. I would recommend this hotel waleed the best

Very good tourist hotel. Room was very comfortable and bed had a great mattress. A bit surprised that the room had only one easy chair. Bathroom was kept very clean throughout our visit and we appreciated the plentiful hot water and spa-like shower head. We had breakfast and supper in the restaurant daily, but the food and service was very inconsistent from day to day. A few people in our group refused to eat there.

  • 5/5 Steven V. 4 years ago on Google
Excellent hotel central to everything in Jerusalem. While we were tourists bussing in and out --- it was done with complete ease. Our group was wonderfully welcomed upon our arrival. Rooms keys were distributed efficiently. The entire staff exceeded our expectations. The rooms are beautiful! The individual beds are easily pushed together to make one, adequate sized bed. The bathroom is compact, but well appointed. Meals are bountiful and delicious. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. We even utilized a meeting room in the basement. So glad we stayed here!!!

Lina at the front desk went above and beyond good service to help me while on a recent stay there. She called a pharmacy and let me talk with the pharmacist to see if some local medicine would be okay to take with my medications. She then went after she got off work to pick it up for me. When she brought it to me, she wouldn’t let me pay for it. She was helpful with some other situations me and my roommate had as well.

Great hotel ,amazing location (only minutes away from the downtown and the old city). Great staff and amenities ,cozy lobby & bar, tasty food with a big variety. More affordable than other hotels around it. Keep up the good work Thanks Otis;-)

  • 3/5 Asaf C. 2 years ago on Google
To be honest I was quite disappointed. The hotel is getting up there in age and it shows. The "new" wing has rooms with old tv sets, old decor and mold in the shower. Even the parking service works like old time, the car registration is written on paper and the heavy mechanical gate only opens by someone pushing a button, nothing automated. Breakfast was probably the worst part, it was very bad. There was a large variety of food to choose from, but nothing tasted good and some didn't feel fresh. Even though the staff were very nice and polite, the overall experience was not good and I would only return there for a suitably low price.

Great hotel in fabulous location! Best area of Jerusalem. Staff at the hotel was the best , especially Waleed in the Lounge was so helpful and accommodating. Dinner in the lounge was excellent with the help of Waleeds suggestions. Will definitely return to hotel again.

My review could be very long, however, I'll be brief. The location is great , walking to most places of interest. The area is hilly everywhere so bring comfortable shoes. We had a deluxe plus room, which was plenty of room for 3 adults. The food in the dining room was plentiful and tasty. However the lobby bar attendant Waleed, is the best good will Ambassador to any business I've ever met. His honesty, and attention to remembering our specific dietary needs was totally amazing and appreciated. His recommendations for food or matching wine is also one of his extraordinary talents. Coupled with his bubbling personality makes dining there a very pleasant experience! We also had the opportunity to meet Oded the evening manager, we had a couple of minor issues that he took seriously and immediately rectified it as if we were family. He is courteous, attentive, and extremely professional, while following thru with making sure all our concerns were addressed and satisfied. A multi lingual interesting person polite and responsive, a big thanks to Oded for helping this American making our stay pleasant. Niam the dining room manager made sure our special requests seem like an every day and customary daily norm. Thanks! They have a roaming sounding board asking how they are doing to make your stay as pleasant as possible Ravit is a great person to talk to making sure your stay is as pleasant as you'd want it to be. She's also wonderful. Shlomit who just happened to be there while inquiring about touring the knesset , she took it upon herself to call for us about their availability for the tour. Thanks such a pleasant surprise since we didn't have cell service. Hamis a dining manager was also helpful and accommodating. Ironically I've interacted coincidencedenty with so many upper management in my two week stay, that I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to someone else. They have created a welcoming atmosphere and that's an anomaly for today's traveler! Thanks to all I've mentioned Sheldon in Room 551!

Great location. Staff at front desk keep following up when there's a request to do something, which is good because the maintenance staff sometimes take a long time to show up. Oded - night duty manager - was excellent and helped resolve several concerns we had. Nagab who made the omelettes at the daily breakfast was friendly helpful and efficient. Lina at the front desk was also very efficient on checkout. The hotel is getting somewhat old and worn, especially the older rooms that haven't yet been renovated (Oded was able to get us moved to a very nice, newly renovated room even though the hotel was almost full as it was just before the beginning of Passover). Having a ping pong table was great.

The location of this hotel in the heart of Jerusalem is a big plus. Walking distance to a lot of places! Waleed in the Lounge Bar Area was very friendly, excellent service and accommodating. He remembered and attended to food allergies and remembered what can and cannot have. The food always came out perfect and delicious. Oded, the evening manager, was friendly, pleasant and also very professional. He is very attentive and takes care of things right away. He will always follow through and get back to you to make sure your stay is satisfactory. Ravite, in customer relations, is also friendly and pleasant. She always talks to the guests to make sure everyone’s stay is pleasant and to make sure everything is ok. She takes time to talk to guests and helps and answers any questions or concerns. Naim, also was very pleasant to work with. He also was there to make sure your stay is satisfactory. Shlomit, was another very friendly and pleasant person to meet. She helped us to try and get an appointment at the Knesset by calling them and gave us the information we needed. Hamis, a dining manager was also very helpful and pleasant to talk to. The Lounge was very pleasant, it was nice to relax having a little snack and beverage after a long day. I would definitely stay here again!

The service was amazing… especially in the dining room. Each night was GREAT but the SPECIAL night was when Naim (the dinner manager) was there. We receive a HUGE “Welcome” when we walked in and he stayed close and checked in with us perfectly! Very kind!! Never needed a refill… when he told me he was the manager I was really impressed. Not too many managers will go out of their way to physically serve people. He did GREAT!!

The Dan Panorama is in a delightful part of town, walking distance to many places, and the service is exceptional. Highly recommend! Waleed is an excellent host and bartender in the hotel.

  • 3/5 G S. 1 year ago on Google
Slightly older hotel with a nice charm. Great breakfast and well equipped hotel. Excellent location and free parking. One important point to note however. The hotel have an internal policy that all occupants must show ID and visas not just the person on the booking or they charge extra unlike all other hotels. This was constantly chased throughout my stay - verbally a number of times and even so far as a letter posted to my room from the front desk. This was not conducive to a pleasant stay. At checkout they even went so far as charging me although they refunded it subsequently. The front desk were incessant and whilst the matter was resolved in the end, please do consider this when booking. Apart from this, the hotel is good value for money.

Wonderful time at this location. Stayed at 2 different rooms during 2 separate visits. The lower end rooms are a little dated and the bathroom shower/tub had a weird glass panel instead of a curtain that loved to leak if not positioned correctly. The second room was perfect quality for the price on all facilities. If I could give 10 starts out of 5 for staff service I would. Some of if not the best service I have ever received. Location is centrally located enough for a light walk to various tourist items and fantastic eateries, but not in a location where traffic noise is an issue. Can not recommend this hotel and staff more, but ensure you either get the upgraded room or don't leave items on the bathroom floor when you shower

The tour group we had at this hotel left extremely happy. The rooms were great, but the clincher was the dining room. And in the dining room the service we got from Naim the head of the service was astounding. So helpful, cheerful and an asset for any hotel.
