Some good and some not so good things here. The welcome was nice and the valet parking great. There were nice treats in the room which was sweet. The design of the lobby was great but shame you can’t enjoy it with a coffee or drink. The room was comfortable if a little dated now. The corridor stank of smoke which was not good. When I told front desk they didn’t seem bothered. The pool has seen better days. The changing rooms were a complete mess and smelly. Chipped tiles everywhere. Such a disappointment . Needs care and attention. Breakfast ok but fight to get a coffee. Roof restaurant nice and location great. Needs a bit of love overall.

The service is beyond expectations It is so genuine,so warm ,so gentle ! This is by far the best hotel in Jerusalem! From the Valet at the entrance, and by the wonderful Bisan at the reception to all the waiters, cleaners, spa team etc.. Don't even bother to dine outside the hotel, they got great food and the service ...already said.. We enjoyed every minute! Thank you

We loved this hotel and its staff, especially the concierge team who are incredible! Stephan is hands down one of the best concierge I have seen, with prompt attention to emails and great suggestions! Our room was lovely with a great living room and bathroom and modern aesthetic. The decorations are minimalist in the rooms, functional. Overall, the hotel has a modern vibe and is in a great location. We would happily stay here again! Great breakfast and excellent salad selections (especially the artichoke salad!)

Small and un-maintained rooms, bad service, we asked for a tea from room service they gave us a water heater that didn't work to boil our own water! Hotel feels un maintained. Phone didn't work, TV in the room is tiny and out of date (very old TV, doesn't even have casting possibility), tiny room and over expansive for what it is. The breakfast is mediocre. The bar is closed. I really don't understand how it got such a high review in google. Location is great though, I'll give them that

Absolutely the best hotel I have ever stayed at! The location is unparallel and super easy to navigate from to the heart of Jerusalem both the Old City and the modern. The breakfast buffet is so good! Huge variety and super fresh. The hotel has great space for celebrations and meetings. Highly recommend!

Wow wow wow Mamilla. Your service and luxury are truly unmatched in Jerusalem. Mamilla has everything you could want during a visit to Jerusalem- wonderful location close and walkable to the old city, kind employees, luxurious rooms, and delicious food. In particular, Rania is an absolute superstar. You will probably see her walking around at breakfast, introducing herself and getting to know you with a warmth and genuine kindness that makes you feel like you are home. I made the mistake of spending a night at a different luxury hotel in Jerusalem after 4 nights at Mamilla and checked out the next day to return to Mamilla. I will never look elsewhere for a luxury hotel in Jerusalem.

I was fortunate enough to spend a few days at this lovely jewel 💎 of a hotel 🏨 right next to the old city and next to the mamilla mall. I have only good things to say about this wonderful Hotel including its wonderful staff that are always accommodating for any needs you might have and especially the concierge desk Savana and team. When you are traveling to Jerusalem it's good to have a concierge desk that can guide you to attractions and even give you sometimes free passes etc. The morning breakfast was incredible Rachel the hotel manager looked after me and Ramia too.

With no doubt the most beautiful hotel in Jerusalem. The lobby is huge and has multiple sitting areas with different sitting options. There are also few shops, a little cafe on the second floor, right above "Mamila" mall and the "Mirror bar" which was closed when I was there. On the 8th floor, located the "Rooftop" restaurant wish an outstanding view that overlooks the city walls of Jerusalem.

Fabulous roof top restaurant and the view is to die for…. But….. Saturdays no coffee in the morning at all…. As a non religious visitor I got very upset. There is no morning without a cup of delicious coffee. They don’t work for visitor’s and client’s wishes. Very narrow minded.

We loved our 3 nights at the Mamilla Hotel. The twin bedded room was very spacious and the bathroom is amazing with a large tub and walk-in shower. Make sure you visit the winery for some wine tasting. The breakfast is incredible too.

Recently my daughter and I holidayed in Israel. The Mamilla Hotel came highly recommended for our part of our Jerusalem stay. We were beyond happy with our stay at the Mamilla. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable. Our hotel package included delicious and impressive breakfast as they catered for our dietary requirements. The concierge service team was accommodating, especially Yacoub. He was very polite and friendly, always willing to go above and beyond, taking pride in his work ethic to welcome all that came to this beautiful hotel.

Nice hotel, but /not/ cheap. Good location near Old Jerusalem, restaurants and shopping. Good nespresso in the room. I liked the rooftop area. Free bottled water is nice. Needs tea/hot water/kettle in the room.

We booked and prepaid for 2 rooms for our 5 day stay in 9 months in 2024. The next day we had an urgent change in our flights and we spoke to the hotel receptionist and asked to change our reservation from 5 days to 2 days. The receptionist was not accommodating and would not change our reservation or refund us the 3 days. So we called our credit card company and they were willing to help us change our reservation but would need Mamilla's manager to ok. We called Mamilla again and asked the receptionist to speak to the manager 6 times and each time they told us the manager was not available- email them. Our credit card service emailed the manager and cc us and we still did not receive a response. We called them again today and they finally responded that management could not change our reservations. Mamilla hotel's customer service is close to none and if you have an emergency and need to change your reservation they will scam you, keep your money, and will not change your reservation. We never write reviews but when there is a scam, we want to share our horrible experience with the Mamilla owner and future customers . Be aware.

View is beautiful and the staff is sweet but I’d rather try the cafes at the malls downstairs. The food was very expensive and not great.

Loved staying here. Well kept, modern hotel. Gracious staff and delicious food! Room was comfy, but a bit cramped in the bathroom. However, they cleverly use space and mirrors in the closet area to give you more space when getting ready.

Really cool place. But for the money, there were some bumps. Certain lights didn’t work, room was not spacious, had to constantly ask for more refills in the restaurant, etc. you get far more for your money in a more developed economy.

We are happy to write a review of the hotel but we need to clarify our credit card bill from the hotel first. We've sent an email but haven't heard back yet. This is our first priority. Our dates of our stay were June 13 -14, 2023. Our bill is listed under our last name noted above.

We had the best stay at the Mamilla Hotel in Jerusalem! Everything was perfect (breakfast, Shabbat dinner, room, etc), but what we needed to accentuate here was the exceptional service. A shout-out to Rania who checked on us every single morning during breakfast, making sure we were happy (and we were!); to Stefan and Ella (concierge) who are so patient and don't rush you when you need information or have questions; to Ghoul (our server at breakfast) who didn't neglect us for a moment, offering us fresh juices and hot coffee the minute we sat down. All in all, I can't wait to return to The Mamilla Hotel, and I recommend it to everyone.

I think it’s very unfair to represent this hotel as a five star when in reality it is a 3 star hotel that has a feel of a by the airport place. The lobby, the rooms, everything. Breakfast has huge buffet non of which is eatable. I think it’s fine if one expects 3 stars. If one expects a 5 star hotel, you are in for a disappointment.

Wonderful stay. Great service, great breakfast, high end fixtures and furniture. It’s a bit pricey, but well worth the extra cost for the perfect location, big room, and quality.

Mamila hotel is highly recommended by google and other websites but unfortunately me and my wife had an unpleasant experience over there. We just got married and wanted to spoil ourself with a luxury hotel right after the wedding. We arrived pretty late and we were already tired (wedding day gets you exhausted and the welcoming was a disaster We were sent to park our car at one place which wasn’t available and then we found ourselves doing circles around the hotel facility until we got really angry and left the car in front of the hotel. This got us in a cranky mood and we weren’t able to really enjoy the hotel’s hospitality. I really think that if a hotel charges a high amount it should reply back with a good value and experienced employees. For us we won’t be coming back for a second time. I hope others get a better experience.

Let’s start with the good points : - Well situated, next to the old city - Really beautiful common areas, decorated with taste - Room is nice (small but nice) But, we were disappointed by many important points during our stay especially regarding the price we paid : HAPPY FISH EXPERIENCE The food option was really bad, the dining at the Happy Fish was not good at all : Food was not good at all. Service was chaotic The girl who was at the reception was unprofessional and really seemed desperate to be there, we really felt that we were bothering her by being there… The waiters brought us both the starter and the main dish at the same time, without apologizing, despite te fact this was not all what we asked for.. We asked to have some wine, but they brought it to us after having finished the dishes… apparently they want to send the dishes as quickly as they can and really don’t care about the well being of your clients… Ha, you have finished your dishes, now maybe I can give you your wine…? Restaurant was freezing cold No Mini bar? Just an empty refrigerator… Overall Service was a nightmare : Rooftop bar service: When you want to drink something it is a struggle… at 5:55PM we decided to go downstair but bar was closed, we went on the top floor and there, the lady at the reception answered us, "the bar open at 6PM, so come back at 6:00 »… then when it was finally 6PM she installed us to some table, despite the fact that we wanted to go to other ones but we were told that was impossible because it was for people who want to dine… the dining room was just 100% empty… I’ll repeat it because it seems an important information to me… The dining room was 100% empty (and it was 95% empty when we finished our drink) We were asked if we want wine… we said that we would like cocktails and the lady who placed us really showed that she was annoyed.. yes because pouring a glass of wine seems to mean less effort than doing a cocktail… We asked if we can have some bites while we were having our drink, in return she asked us if we had a reservation for dinner, in case we did a reservation in the meantime… We didn’t… but obviously, in the Mamilla, if you are drinking, you can’t eat in the same time? Are you serious?? It was not possible to drink cocktails and to have snacks in the same time… not even some olives… Cocktails were really not good at all When we finally asked for the bill, we asked a pen as well as we were in the hotel and just wanted to add it on the bill of the room… the staff looked at us like if we were asking the impossible… We really were chocked by the lack of service, of hospitality we felt in both the bar and the « happy fish» restaurant. At the reception, people were a bit nicer, but nothing to rave about.

For a price tag of ~500$ for the basic room it is somewhat disappointing. The biggest plus for this hotel is definitely it's location. You are close to the old city, the best restaurants and pubs and to other historical neighborhoods. The only time we needed a cab is to go to the national museum. The staff is extra nice and very helpful. It is also has a parking for 50 NIS a night. This is very comfortable. On the negative side of things: - The bed is quite stiff and not that comfortable. - The breakfast isn't great. It is ok, not more. Quite disappointing for a 5 star hotel. When I booked the room there was no option to not include a breakfast. I would prefer to have it in the great restaurants outside for much cheaper price. - The room could be cleaner. The carpet wasn't totally clean. I also moved a bed side table to find a power plug and it had lots of dust behind it. - Half of the hotel faces a busy road. The noise isolation is ok, but you can still hear it. And the view of this half of the hotel is really depressing. - The noise isolation of the doors is horrible. You can hear every door slam or people walking near your room. - The roof of the hotel is quite useless. It has few weird beach like chairs. To access it you have to go through a creepy staircase. - The head of the bed is made from a metal sheet that is cold to touch during the night. - Because of COVID-19 the staff check green passes at the hotel entrance for anyone who wants to visit the restaurant or the spa. It is the same entrance for the people that stay at the hotel, and a result you need to wait few minutes before you can enter the hotel. To make things worse it is also used as an exit. To sum things up, you paying top dollar for not that top hotel. But the location is good.

Mamilla Hotel: excellent service throughout the hotel (Nadia at the Front Desk, to cite one of the many friendly and helpful people), very good bed, strong water pressure in the shower, easy walking distance to Mamilla Avenue, the Western Wall, and the Shuk. Maximum two stars for a hotel at THIS PRICE LEVEL. Poor lighting and electric design in rooms. It is inconceivable in this day and age that an upgraded room does not have a spare electrical socket to plug in and charge phones, computers, etc. One of the lamps has to be unplugged – in a room that is already dim because of poor interior lighting design. There is one socket in the bathroom sort of atop the sink. Liquid crystal partition does not work. Hair blower firmly attached inside the closet, right above the safe deposit box. Light switches arranged more or less haphazardly, with lots of rocker switches, some of which do something, some don’t. Some turn off lamp sockets, but it’s hard to predict which, so charging devices is hit-or-miss. Bathroom is dimly lit. Nice breakfast area, good food, and again excellent restaurant staff always eager to please. Spacious lobby. Had it not been for the electrical and lighting issue in the rooms, this hotel would have gotten an easy five-star review. At the price level charged, two stars is more than generous.

Hotel is fabulous. The front desk and concierge are very helpful. Helping us check in early, holding our car and luggage, including valet parking. Recommended restaurants and helped us book them, helping us find evening entertainment. The rooms are very nice with comfortable beds and spacious bathroom. Our room had a full bath and shower, including bathrobes and slippers. Everything is following the covid-19 regulations. We were there in passover and the food in the rooftop restaurant and breakfast was amazing. Fully kosher. The location is excellent and couldn't ask for more.

Great hotel. However, there isnt really a 5 star hotel in Israel I guess. I wanted to connect my phone to the tv speakerss using Bluetooth. No go. The reception team are great and try super hard but are not that knowledgeable about the surrounding area. You should definitely park at the hotel. The akasha spa is great too.

Most of services were very good. Several things could be improved : 1. No any facilities for kids - playground or caring person 2. Did not explain where to park -i got lost during parking 3. It is smart room but if you first time - it takes a lot of time to understand how to use that smart service

Mamilla hotel was great. breakfast was fantastic, location great, service solid. Stephan the concierge was a miracle worker. Best restaurant selections, tours. Hooked us up with reasonably priced laundry service which we needed after traveling for a few weeks. Concierge elevates a stay from 4 to 5 stars, he was the difference.

Left the rooftop restaurant hungry. The staff was too busy flirting with each other, we couldn't get their attention. I guess that's why they call it the most romantic restaurant in Israel. Manage your restaurant staff better.

The hotel is nice, excellent location, but the isolation to the neighbors and floor is not sufficient, one can hear neighbors talking. Excellent breakfast. Rooftop restaurant often closed due to private events, mirror bar closed completely. Service in the rooftop restaurant not professional and mediocre at best.

We just checked in here as a family of 3. One king bed and one pull out sofa. The room, while very beautiful, is not family friendly. We had to quickly move out of the room as our 12 year old showered. Even with the cloudy glass, he had zero privacy showering. When it came to getting sheets/blankets for him, it took over 5 hours and multiple calls to get service to bring blankets up to the room. It's not family friendly as with a pull out sofa and sliding walls, we hear (and our son will hear) any noise, conversation, snore, etc/voice versa. Zero privacy. This is a very expensive hotel, and expectations are extremely high. If it's you and your significant other it will be a great stay. It's unfortunate our first night's sleep is the night before our son's bar mitzvah and I hope he gets enough rest.

Just came back from the lovely Mamilla Hotel. The guest relations manager, Rachel Varnai could not do enough for us to make our stay as wonderful as we had hoped. Able to walk to all the historic sites in old Jerusalem. We would certainly stay at this location again!

I stayed at the Mamilla Hotel for one evening for the purpose of visiting the Old City of Jerusalem. Regrettably, I believe the Mamilla Hotel’s glory days are well in the past and until they close it for a total revamp, this hotel should not be classed as 5 stars. We were assigned a studio room with a king bed and honestly it was a massive disappointment. The view you can see in the photo was one of the worst I’ve ever come across. The room was run down, dust on everything, the plug sockets have seen better days and just marks and scratches on every surface. How can this be a 5 star is the question I asked myself. Yes it was 5 star pricing but the hardware was at best 3 star now. I challenge any of the management to really revert to me and tell me that this is still a 5 star quality hotel. The plug sockets were dated, the lighting was poorly designed and the TV screen would black out after about 15 minutes! Fortunately, we were out most of the day and evening so only had to sleep there for one night. I really don’t mean to be harsh and you can see from all my previous reviews that I’ve given are 4 and 5 stars!! We gave the hotel one more chance with the breakfast and unfortunately that was also a let down. I like to have of toast in the morning but the bread was dry. The other dishes were also so so and we left disheartened. Please revamp the hotel and maybe one day I can come back… oh and the evening we stayed, the roof top was closed, the Mirror Bar was also closed so all in all… it was not great. I’m sorry to give this review but it has to be done!

Expected much more for the price and hype around this hotel.... Faulty faucet in the bathtub on bad position of the shower head so the bathroom was completely flooded once we finished showering... Sofa bed made available to us for our child was not adequate and he ended up injured by it... Bottom line extremely, disappointing.

STAY AWAY. AVOID THIS DANGEROUS EXPERIENCE. The most horrific Spa experience I’ve ever had in my life. The massage therapist did not speak a word of English. I was not asked ANY basic questions that are supposed to be asked prior to a massage, aka if I have any injuries, how much pressure I’d like, what areas to focus on etc. I have an injury that I always ask before any massage NOT to touch. I’ve explained it to the therapist, she PRETENDED like she understood it and then the next thing I know she start pressing on it with HUGE pressure. I had to communicate with her via Google Translator to explain myself and even after that she still kept on trying to massage that area AND using too much pressure on my entire body, even though I asked her not too. I left the massage in excruciating pain and could barely move my neck into one of the directions the following day. Cherry on the top? They made me pay for the massage before it even started, so when I asked for a refund, the manager of the spa BLAMED me for this entire experience because I was 3 minutes late to the appointment and apparently because of that they did not ask me any health-related questions. He also tried to “educate” me that apparently I should not have chosen deep tissue massage, even though that’s I’ve been doing my entire life and NEVER had an issue before.

Super small washroom space, and for the first time for an apparently 5-star hotel, a gym that isn’t open 24/7. For the price they charge one would assume atleast amenities would be 24/7

Do not recommend in any way neither for staying of dining. Serving you there with a bogan attitude don’t know simple dining etiquette and ways of serving and when telling them what it is and what needs to be done giving you attitude. Familiarity is in place that is shocking at the hotel and restaurant. Moved my table so that other client can freely sit even without asking me. Speechless ! And you pay for this mockery! Stay away !
