The property is quite beautiful. However our experience with the staff was a disappointment. We offered to bring our entire wedding party and they said they could give a discount, but after checking it was equivalent to $3.00. The front desk wasn’t personable or helpful, even rude at times while on the phone with them. We just felt uncared for while trying to book with them. Hope others have a better experience.

I keep coming back to this hotel because it has so many features I love: Great location away from the hustle of Tel Aviv. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is amazing. The showers (yes, showers as in plural) are great! Simply put: You get a lot of value for your money at this hotel.

Everything was really very nice. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that our room was next to the cleaners' room and they would sit there for long stretches and talk and we could easily hear them from inside our room. It wasn't the noise that was bothersome so much as the lack of privacy being constantly reminded that someone is right outside our door.

Location is very good in Jaffa near to port, sea, centre, restaurants and bars. Is far from TelAviv (30 min walk) however you can walk by the beach, take a taxi with Gett app or take a bus. Rooms are clean, breakfast has a variaty of Israeli food (kosher). You have free lemonade, coffee, water all the time. Coffee is very good. Nice terrace outside of restaurant, friendly service. It is a very good choice in Jaffa.

Likes - Breakfast was really good, with lots of options (no meat, though). The rooms are quite spacious, even the standard ones. Good amenities, good location (close to the Jaffa port and the all the restaurants area from Jaffa city). Quite well connected to public transportation, as well. Very clean. Nice staff. Terrace available (make sure to ask for a sea-view one). Also, there are free treats available throughout the day (orange juice, lemonade, coffee, pastry, fruits). Disliked · Although clean and changed everyday, the towels looked old and pretty used. At least in our room, the AC didn't have too many speed options and it was blowing directly towards the bed, therefore it was very difficult to stay in bed with the AC on).

Great hotel close to the heart of the old city, within easy walking distance to the beach, the bell tower, and many delicious restaurants. A lovely indoor/outdoor sitting area in which to enjoy their complimentary snacks, tea/coffee - and the breakfast is also very good! If we return to Tel Aviv, we will definitely consider this spot for our stay.

Every time I come to Tel Aviv I stay at the Margosa Hotel. Friendly Staff. Very clean rooms. I love sitting out on the balcony. Breakfast is always fresh and delicious! And you can get juice or tea/coffee all day!

Super clean, located in Jaffa...beautiful neighborhood and very close to everything - beach, market and clock tower and the price was perfect. Highly recommend!

Loved this cozy hotel. It's small, located in an old city Jafa, near the seaside, from which it is easy to walk to the beach. Also, during all day you have access to free coffee machine with cappuccino and latte options, tea, fruits and can even bring your own snacks. Rooms are clean and well equiped, we stayed in a family suit, so we even have small kitchen (you can wash fruits, drink tea or coffee).

Once again location location is important if visiting Jaffa and surrounding. Wonderful quiet boutique hotel. Not outrageous fancy. It's the little things, the amazing staff, parking, free coffee and basically the over all attitude of the hotel. Well worth the stay will be back.

Lovely hotel. It’s in a great location, the rooms are nice, and the staff is very friendly! The breakfast was our favorite part with a ton of variety and adventurous choices. Also the constant supply of complementary dates, juice, and coffee (try the iced coffee!!) was a nice touch. The only thing to know is the street can be a bit noisy but is manageable. Also the shower and sink are a bit exposed to the rest of the room. Not a big deal if traveling with a significant other but something to keep in mind if traveling with friends/family. Would absolutely stay again!

This is one of best hotels in Jaffa. Very clean rooms with balcony. Free coffee, tea, water all day available at the designated area.

Rooms were a little small but it did have a balcony. Breakfast buffet was more than adequate. In walking distance of most of Jaffa. I would stay again.

We spent 1 night there with our family of 6 and It was amazing. The hotel itself is super clean, the team is so friendly and welcoming and on top of that they provide a super tasty breakfast and a coffee and snack bar 24/7. The location is excellent in Jaffo, and 5 minutes from the flee market. Highly recommended hotel.

Clean room A good queen size bed WiFi could be better. Some noise from street until 01:00 else very quiet. A bit expensive. I like the hotel and I will be back.

The overall stay was ok. The coffee station in the lobby is really cool. The lounge area is very nice and clean. The receptionist was nice to us. The breakfast is not free, at least not on weekends. The location is perfect on one hand, but in evening time has a lot of locals around that doesn’t make you feel safe. We got an overall clean and a very nice room but with a major problem. The shower drain was clogged. Skipping most of the shower we went out and ask the receptionist to fix it. After the fix the whole floor was flooded during the next shower. So we had to brush our teeth in standing water. Really bummed my wake up. The room itself is not bad but has to over-go some maintenance. No compensation was offered at the reception. Nice hotel but I think next time I’ll pick different.

The staff was amazing and the room was clean. Free coffee anytime is offered in the downstairs lobby with additional snacks. The parking offered is great since your car is not standing on the street. Overall, amazing experience and really made the trip better. The shower is not a separate room but we figured it out by going on the balcony or turning the other way when the other person showers. This did not provide difficulty for me but it is important to know.

A room was booked for me for one night. I didn‘t like the area, where the hotel is located. First I thought, the room would be nice, but then I realized that it was not clean as there was some dirt on the floor. Corners in the shower cabinet and in the restroom need to be renovated in my opinion, as there were some black spots in these areas. I didn‘t try the breakfast. I wouldn‘t choose this hotel in the future!

Margosa is 5 mins walk from Jaffa, excellent location. The staff have been absolutely excellent each of the two occasions we’ve stayed there. They couldn’t do enough. The outdoor reception area is great for a coffee or beer. The west-facing balconies are great!

The suite with the terrace to the streets of Jaffa is a really good room! It's surprisingly large, has a genuine old Jaffa chic, and the view... The bed is comfy and the free standing bath in the open bathroom is a great touch. Only down side to this place is the elevator, which is small and slow, and not fit for the amount of people at times. But then again, it's only 3 floors.

Great experience. Stayed one night, 3 girlfriends in a big family room (#99). Could be also an excellent room for a family with 2 kids. Loved the idea that we had 24/7 coffee/wine/beverages/fruit and pastries... 5 minutes from the vibrant flee market and beautiful Jaffa! The fact the hotel has parking is a big plus. We loved it and very much recommend.

We stayed here for just one night in 2019, but of our whole Israel trip, it was our favorite lodging. Tucked away and unassuming from the street, the interior is a delight. The courtyard is cozy and welcoming, and the in-house breakfast was superb — one of the best we had on our trip also. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, and the room was both functional and attractive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
