Nice staff. Service was amazing! The reason that I only gave 4 stars is because of the size of the rooms. Abnormally small. Loved the rooftop and beautiful views. Great location. Would highly recommend to someone who doesn’t mind a small room. By the way I loved how the tv welcomed me when I walked into the room. I felt totally at home!!! Don’t forget to make use of the bikes!!

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, Thursday to Sunday. The hotel: the hotel overall has a very classy vibe, the design is very elegant, the music is very classy and calm. Feels more suitable for a romantic couples vacation or business trips, not really for younger people or children (although children are welcomed there - ALSO DOGS!!! it was fun seeing all the cute dogs in the hotel). The staff is very professional and pleasant. The breakfast is rich and tasty. Upon your arrival in the morning at the breakfast area, which is on the first floor in the lobby, a staff member welcomes you and offers you coffee. On Saturday morning there was a little bit of chaos and no one even saw us coming, there wasn't enough room for everyone and some people had to wait until someone else left. They register the rooms on what time they should arrive for breakfast (the guests pick the time), 8 / 9 / 10 so some people have probably arrived later than the hour they registered to, and that caused the overload. Regarding the omelets, you can ask the kitchen to prepare you any kind of egg you want (there are only boiled eggs in the buffet). I do not recommend waiting for the omelets, I think they were too oily and soggy, though, the buffet itself is really good and should be enough for a nice full breakfast. Happy Hour: Honestly, I was expecting something else. First of all, it also takes place in the lobby, the same place as the breakfast, the music is low and the same as the music during the whole day, classy and calm. The snacks and drinks in the happy hour are ok. We went only on Thursday afternoon, on Friday we missed it and there is no happy hour on Saturday which is kind of disappointing. I think, though, the biggest disappointment I had regarding the happy hour was that I expected it to take place on the roof, with louder music, fun younger vibe but it was a kind of "old" feeling, it just felt like "nappy hour" rather than a "happy hour". Big suggestion to the hotel - you have such a GREAT roof - USE IT! do the happy hour there, louder music, fun vibe, make a party out of it. I think a bar on the roof could be an awesome idea, with nice cocktails, some easy snacks, this way people who don't want to leave the hotel can buy drinks and snacks in the hotel itself and enjoy the roof while doing so, I think it could be a great profit for the hotel as well. We did buy a sparkling wine bottle from the hotel and enjoyed the sunset from the roof with it, it was perfect. I just think if there was a bar on the roof we would have ordered more stuff. Regarding the SPA room: very recommended! First of all: it is big! lots of room for anything you bring with you. The hot tab works great and is big enough for 2 people, the sea view- beautiful. the shower has two heads that work at the same time, really fun to shower together there is plenty of room. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfy, the TV has cables. I loved the room! it was perfect. Location: I think the hotel's location is good, it is close to Dizengoff street and the beach, though we took taxis to get to farther areas using the GET app which is very comfortable and very easy to find a taxi for both directions. Also, if you go to the beach you can ask for a beach bag with towels and water which is a nice addition. Overall I LOVED this hotel and I will definitely visit again!

A very enjoyable stay, thanks to the wonderful service delivered by every member of staff. From the front reception desk to the cleaners to the breakfast staff, everyone was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make guests feel special. The hotel itself is situated on HaYarkon Street, just behind the Hilton hotel and only a block in one direction from the beach and a couple of blocks in the other direction from Dizengoff St. The bedrooms are on the small side and decor is a little dated, but generally in good condition and very clean. In any case, with so much to do in Tel Aviv, very few people come to stay in their bedroom. Breakfast is served in the entrance lobby lounge area and is excellent, even by the high standards set in Israel. Not only is there a wide selection of foods on offer, but the quality is very high and generally very healthy too (chocolate babka aside, but exceptions can always be made for that!). Overall, it was a great experience - the reviews are true - and I will definitely return on future visits to Tel Aviv.

So the Shalom in a nutshell: the rooms, super small, you can't swing a cat in that room, and I'm being dead serious, opted for a standard room (211) and it was the smallest bed I've ever slept in, I'd hate to think what the piccolo rooms (what they call the small rooms) are like. Spent 5 nights and we felt like we were on top of each other the entire time, very uncomfortable, even the sink is not inside the bathroom! Amenities not replenished by housekeeping everyday was a pain, Nespresso coffee is a nice touch but no milk or cream to be found anywhere. Carpets very dirty and were not vacuumed once during the entire stay. One call out is Celine at the front desk, she is just amazing, helpful, friendly, nothing is too much for her, on the other hand the night time receptionist could learn a lot from her. Overall the hotel is nice enough, but probably only for 2 nights, it is showing signs of tiredness and a lot of fixtures have seen better days including the elevator. At approx $320 a night with no breakfast included, it feels overpriced because of the room size but I'd imagine it would be hard to beat, the Hilton across the road starts at $500+ a night, so go figure, Tel Aviv is expensive! Whilst I enjoyed the Shalom I'd much rather stay in a modern hotel if I was to return to Tel Aviv.

Very nice boutique hotel. Service is exceptional. Staff was always helpful in Hebrew and English. Breakfast is excellent and the happy hour is very well done and a nice touch. Rooms are nice and on the small side but one should expect for a location in central Tel Aviv. Definitely would stay again.

The hotel is stunning, simple elegance. Not on beach but 1 street away through a lovely walk through a beautiful park. Rooms are beautifully decorated, have additional amenities like high quality products & coffee, tea & waters. I loved the happy hour & snacks. Gorgeous & delicious. Lovely stay. @vidabellaodyssey

The LOCATION of Shalom Hotel is perfect. It's central and 3 minute walk from the [in my opinion] best beach in Tel Aviv, the Hilton Beach. It's smaller and quieter than other beaches in Tel Aviv and has 3 special sections: gay, dogs and water sports (lots of surfing). 5 minutes cycle ride takes you to an extensive Hayarkon Park with cacti and tropical gardens and lots of amusement for children. 20 minutes cycle ride takes you to Jaffa at the opposite side of Tel Aviv. The hotel is small compared to its giant neighbours such as Hilton, but it has much better ATMOSPHERE. You really find a family abroad here. Everyone is super nice and helpful, all staff speak perfect English. Rooms are cosy and CLEAN. The smaller one that we had was a bit tight, but there was space for one large suitcase in the cupboard and we put the smaller suitcase inside. The hotel is able to book TRIPS with an excellent agency. We'd recommend the trip to Jericho (the oldest settlement in the world), river Jordan (Jesus's christening place) and to the Dead Sea with them. It's probably better to visit Jerusalem with them as well as if you do it yourself it may be time-consuming trying to find your way around. The hotel can also book your TRANSFER from the Ben Gurion airport (the queue for taxis may be very long). Or use Gett app to get a taxi on the spot (similar to Uber). If you travel on Sabbath or a Jewish holiday, taxi may be your only options as public transport is not running. Shalom is very GENEROUS with complimentary bikes, happy hour almost every day and a short Swedish massage for everyone.

Room was very quiet, spacious and comfortable. It was prepared for us for a birthday with a balloon, drinks and snacks. Staff was very attentive, accessible and pleasant. Happy hour was a very attractive feature of our stay! Also the roof is a very nice place to chill. We recommend!

Beautiful! My first ever visit to Tel-Aviv started in this beautiful boutique hotel. The hotel is decorated with paintings and photographs by the late Israeli artist Michael Argov, and they have created a very special atmosphere. The hotel feels like a warm home, and we were extremely well taken care of. I look very much look forward to come back.

Sue and l spent 10 glorious days in Israel at the Shalom. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were on hand at all hours of the day. The breakfast was extraordinarily sumptuous and could keep you going until the evening when soup pizza nuts etc were made available …for the price it was one of the best hotel we have stayed at.

The rooms are small, but perfect for a few days. Very well located, closed to the port and the main streets, just across of the ocean.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The rooms were tastefully designed, clean, and had good amenities. The breakfast was very tasty and contained good products. The location was good, a short 5 minute walk to the sea. And lastly, the price was very good, even low for the experience. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return!

We had to postpone our original booking 22-23 hours before check-in. Though the hotel could have charged us full price because we were within the 24-hour window, they let us cancel for free. We decided to postpone instead. Upon check-in we were informed that our room was upgraded, free of charge. The room was nicely renovated and spacious, and very clean. They left us some nice goodies as well. Happy hour in the afternoon was a nice touch, with some snacks and drinks. We also took advantage of the beach, which is a couple minutes walk. The hotel provided us with towels in a canvas bag, along with bottled water. They think of everything! The staff was always very nice and helpful, and we had a great experience!

Rooms are a bit small but it is a boutique hotel so this is common. But it is in a great location and the breakfast's are amazing. Enjoy.

Beautiful place. Very well kept. Good staff but they need to make the room spacious if they want Indian customers to come. It is beautiful with the word for but rooms and bathrooms need to be bigger

A great hotel within a short walk from the beach. Everything was perfect, starting from the check-in, the decorated room, the indulgent Happy Hour in the lobby, the staff who did everything to make us feel the vacation, the great breakfast and not to forget the roof terrace which is a wonderful place to sit in front of the sea and relax. Felt like a short escape to Europe.

I found the hotel was great from when I checked in and checked out. My room was just the right size for my stay, the staff were all wonderful and extremely helpful and professional. The breakfast and happy hour was good and I loved the variety provided. The location was perfect too, walking distance to the beaches and public transport very close by as well as places of interest around Tel Aviv. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

The hotel is terrific because of the service. They have all these little touches that make a huge difference. The two we really enjoyed were the free happy hour from 5 - 7 PM, which included drinks and small delicious food dishes like mini sandwiches, salads, and tiramisu for dessert. The other really nice touch was the beach bag. When we wanted to go to the beach, the hotel provided a free beach bag with two towels, two bottles of water, and sun block. The huge hammock on their beautiful rooftop was also really nice. Overall, we'd definitely stay here again and were pleasantly surprised.

We had a fabulous stay at your Boutique Hotel. Service was exceptional. We had tours set for every day leaving the hotel before breakfast, we had paid for breakfast so the staff made sure a breakfast box was ready and waiting for us each morning. Front desk service manager Josseph Agam is an outstanding representative for your hotel. Very friendly and professional he was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area which was a blessing. Will definitely say here again when we visit Tel Aviv. Also will recommend your lovely hotel to others. Thank you so much for for making our stay in Israel a great one. Shalom

I highly recommend this hotel - service is amazing, breakfast is wonderful. The location is nice, the beach is nearby, as well as a park. There are lots of cafe/shops around. The staff is very friendly. I will visit Israel more times for sure, and I know that I need to look no further.

I came to the Shalom with my two kids for a short getaway away from Jerusalem, and felt like I had drifted into another country. Everything about the Shalom is class and elegance, and the details are to die for. Everything from the macaroons at the Welcome Desk and Nil's super friendly welcome, to the rooms being ready early, to the placement of the hotel in relation to the beach, to the amenities like the rooftop, to the delightful foods, was just magnificent. I made a note to remember names and actions so that my gratitude can fill out with practical examples. Nil, the reception manager, was both kind and gracious but also didn't shy away from walking to the room with me to see what happened to the door, when I mentioned a technical difficulty. Irena, from Housekeeping, welcomed me and continued to be a friendly face every time I saw her. Olga, from the breakfast staff, was just so kind in getting my kids the special pancakes and waffles order, and making them hot chocolate. Simona, the hotel manager, greeted us warmly at breakfast, and I saw her put on gloves herself and handle whatever needed handling, when it was needed. She is completely hands on and ensured that we were taken care of. I noticed as well how she took care of all the other guests during breakfast, and we felt like we were in good hands. Amanda, from the evening reception shift, surprised me, when she called to check in with me, to see if I'd found parking. If you haven't yet tried the Shalom, come for one reason or come for them all, but it shouldn't be a skipped experience. The colorful blue and white Santorini-like ambiance of the furniture and the rooms, the rooftop lounge chairs and deck, the pickled cucumbers in the breakfast buffet, the passionfruit-cherry dessert & flasks of martini at Happy Hour, the veranda out front which just kisses the curbside and keeps you happily observant yet blissfully uninvolved with the TLV traffic just a few feet in front of you, the decadence of the sheets, blankets and pillows, all of these and more, come together to create the perfect ambiance and feel of a blessed home away from home. I can't speak more highly of the staff and setting of the Shalom & Relax, I can only recommend that you try it for yourself.

First, I want to thank Avi and Simona for making sure this hotel stand out even in the little things. We have been staying in this hotel for 1 night and I must say, I did not expected to receive such high standard service. The staff did a great job, everything was clear and planned well. Room, was clear and super equipped, bed was good, air conditioner was quite, bathroom was spacy and had all the shampoos etc. TV screen is big, some channels did not work. Breakfast, Simple and delicious in exact amount. Cozy dining room, and a lot of natural ingredients. Very good. Roof, The highlight of the Hotel, a place to chill and relax infront of the ocean and tel aviv buildings. There was an issue we had with the elevator, for some reason when we wanted to get down from the roof and we called the elevator, it did not came to the fifth floor. So we had to go down one floor and call it. Parking is a problem, don't give up easily. We will for sure come again Thank you for having us. Inbal and Omri.

Stayed at this hotel for a quick one night staycation and have to say I was so impressed with this hotel! The location is perfect to walk down the promenade in Tel Aviv and watch the sunset in the evening. The room was so clean and well kept - we had a jacuzzi suite and it was absolutely wonderful. The people who worked at the hotel were very helpful and nice, they gave us wine when we arrived and some snacks and more wine for happy hour. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, we had shakshuka and plenty of fresh food. I will absolutely return. What a gem! Wonderful bonus rooftop lounging area!! Only con is no parking at the hotel. There is the Hilton parking across the street for 100 shekels for the night. Parking on the street was scarce if you’re even lucky to find one.

Great place at a very reasonable price. Friendly staff, cute room (was on the smaller side, but who needs to stay in a room when you’re on vacation). The roof is great, esp at night. Shower had great water pressure, bed was comfortable, AC did wonders., and good location!

Tel Aviv's best kept secret! There isn't anything not to like about this place. You will not regret staying here. Came here with my two year old, who had a birthday during the stay and his age wasn't a problem for the stuff to give him an amazing time and celebrate him!! Truly honoring its name, you will feel nothing but peace and relaxation during your stay! Breakfast is fantastic with not only a huge selection but with customised options for your eggs too! Cleanliness is suberb! And the staff is always kind responsive and really seem to care about your experience! It made a world of difference to us and even the youngest in my family had the best time!

The property is easily accessible on street directly across from a beachfront park. There are several excellent restaurants within a ten minute walk, especially on Ben Yehuda Street. Ask Ronli Inbar or any of the reception staff for more restaurant recommendations, they are very knowledgeable. This is an excellent property, with different options for room sizes. I chose the smaller room, but it was perfect for one. Young couples without children would enjoy this size room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, 10 out of 10. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. For only 80 NIS, the breakfast in the hotel was top notch. Will definitley choose this hotel again.

Just now I booked a suit by phone and while doing that I had the most unpleasant communication in my entire life with a hotel booking manager. He was very rude, talked in a loud and diminishing tone and I had a sense that I was annoying him and making him angry. But all I did was ask for availability or rooms and wether the hotel had a late checkout. Of course I told the manager that the manner in which he was speaking to me was unacceptable and that I had no reason to have a bad experience while booking a quite expensive suit. The manager didn’t say he was sorry but he did calm down and did get back to his senses. He also didn’t propose any complimentary services or gifts to smooth out this horrible experience of mine with the hotel. I must say, I’m very much disappointed in the level of client service of this hotel. I did eventually book a suit there but just because I needed the location.

We stayed two nights in a standard room. We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast is generous and tasty, and the happy hour buffet was a nice surprise. We used the hotel bikes to ride along the beach. The hotel has an attractive décor and is well-kept. The staff were exceptionally friendly.

It is a delight to write a glowing review of a wonderful establishment. Excellent service. Happy, motivated, engaged, warm, welcoming, intelligent staff. Delicious, awesome, delightful, enticing variety of foods at their breakfast buffet. Everything was GREAT. Elegant, lovely, subdued, quiet, tranquil, inviting lobby and breakfast dining room. Simply beautifully decorated. Hotel was immaculate. Clean and neat. I will absolutely return to this hotel upon my next visit to Tel Aviv. And will also choose others of the Atlas Hotel Group. Hotel is five minutes from a wonderful beach and seaside promenade walkway. Regarding rooms...My room was on the second floor at the rear. Lovely room. Well, thought of and appointed. View of the neighborhood. But who comes to Tel Aviv to sit in your room and look out your window? And if you have a car the best parking is at the Hilton Hotel’s garage which has one entrance directly across the street. They charge 100 NIS per day (roughly $31 October 2021) to park overnight.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a super friendly lady at the front (Ileana I believe). She was funny and made us feel at home, especially after having just experienced a very stressful situation of the cab driver trying to scam us then yelling at us. She gave us some snacks and a couple of drinks while we settled in. Since then, the service has been so great. The staff seem genuinely interested in helping you. Any time you need ANYTHING, they are very accommodating. The room had drinks and it was all free. Honestly, for the service alone, this is your place to stay. In addition, the beach is so close and it is very close to restaurants and nightlife. The only downfall is the room was a bit small, but still very clean, nicely decorated and cozy. They have an amazing breakfast and an amazing happy hour. The food was phenomenal. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND STAY HERE! Thanks for making us feel at home. We will for sure be coming back.
