Tal by the Sea is an absolutely gorgeous hotel with a prime location. The rooms were clean, spacious, had great amenities, etc. The hotel restaurant and bar were delicious. Cannot wait to stay again! Highly recommend!

The hotel is located in a very convenient location, just 5 minutes walk away from the beach, and Namal (old port). Rooms were clean and spacious, and fully equipped for coffee, and shower amenities. Staff was helpful with anything needed. A good option, especially considering its ideal location for having a light stroll by the beach.

Really surprisingly good hotel. Room was super clean and the service was wonderful! There is a highly recommended free happy hour at the roof top with great view to the sea. The location is great, really close to the beach and not too into the city. If you are looking for a good boutique hotel I would highly recommend.

This is a very nice hotel, conveniently located near the beach. It is that proximity that makes me give it 4 stars instead of 5 stars because the noise from the street, and specifically from the electric scooter charging lot that is behind the hotel, that easily enters the rooms. The rooms are quiet between, above and below, but it's the noise that comes through the window that was disturbing to a good sleep. I very much appreciated the hotel changing my room to one that was quieter during the overnight hours. A very enjoyable breakfast buffet with a lot of options that should be able to satisfy anyone. The rooftop offers beautiful 270Ā° views of Tel Aviv to the north, west, and south, and a happy hour is served in the evening most days of the week.

Pretty good overall experience. The rooms are a decent size and quick modern renovated look. They have a beautiful rooftop patio with an incredible view of the seashore and surrounding city. They also host a happy hour from 5-7pm which was nice. The restaurant on the main floor and breakfast is delicious. Good service, Israeli breakfast buffet style. Absolutely delicious! Unfortunately they donā€™t have a lobby bar or anywhere to drink at within the hotel except the restaurant which closes early. That would be my only disappointment. Also a 3 minute walk to the boardwalk and beach.

Of the four hotels I stayed in during my three weeks in Israel, Tal had the best food and service. They greeted us with Happy Hour h'ors d'oeuvres and cocktails, provided sweet treats after returning from dinner and had the most delicious breakfast! On my next trip to Tel Aviv, I will definitely stay there!

Overall it is a good place. Close to the beach, which is the main reason we chose it because of our small child. Staff are friendly and helpful. The cleanliness is what bothered us, everywhere dirt, lobby, stairs, corridor, in the room, you can see it easily with human eyes. In common place food traces everywhere. The locals do not clean after themselves, and the staff do not care much. Rooftop terrace is nice, though besides the sea you also see ugly roofs of the buildings around and the weird structure of the emergency exit blocking the view. Breakfast is beautiful and plenty of selection, fresh ingredients. Sweets are of factory quality, I tried one or two type and didnā€™t care the rest. The complimentary happy hour appreciated, not many variety, but a simple dip with sparkling wine quite satisfying. Enjoyed the free bikes with child seat. Room(standard double) a bit small, windows very dirty could barely see through. Bedlinen and towels clean and comfortable, but many places dirt, the floor, carpet, under the bed, door handles, tables besides the top. No soundproof, during the night very loud noise from the road outside. For all the above they charge more than 300eur per night. Dunno if itā€™s Israeli standard, anyway for me it is overpriced. A pool is missing. Didnā€™t visit the gym. Underground parking could be very useful but when we wanted to use it there was no place and we had to park outside paying.

I was a guest here for one night only, due to a delayed flight. The hotel is in a good location right beside the port area of Tel Aviv. It is well served by local shops, cafes, bars & restaurants if you decide that you donā€™t want to stay in the hotel. The rooms themselves are spacious, however they are also very tried and require modernisation. My room was quite unclean. There was dust in many, many places and even noodles stuck to the wall under the desk. I would have complained if I were staying for longer. However the communal terrace on the top floor is very beautiful, stylish, and has some quite incredible views of the beach, sea and cityscape. If the hotel invested in upgrading their accommodation (and ensured it was well maintained) this could be a really great place to stay in future. As things stand, I can only give 3/5 due to cleanliness and the outdated style of rooms.

The staff at this hotel is exceptional. From Benny, Rachel, and Yechiel at the front desk to all the wait and maintenance staff. We spent 3 nights including over shabbat. Wonderful Shabbat food (under Rabanut supervision), and daily breakfast was fresh and amazing. The chefs take pride in their work and interact with the patrons. Free bikes each day and 1 block from the beach and the Tel Aviv Pier. Nespresso in each room and complimentary water/seltzer/soda in room. Happy hour daily with Wine, Sangria, and freshly made food all complimentary. Tal by the beach is highly recommended.

This is our third stay at the Tal and we will be back!!! The only hotel in my experience that leaves clean towels by your door when you leave a Do Not Disturb sign. The location is great, a block from the beach, room is wonderful, many electrical plugs, plug your phone anywhere in the room! A Nespresso with free coffee in each room, a fridge with soft drinks are also available, all included! We had dinner Friday night, amazing food, plenty of salads, breads, different cuts of meat and chicken, soup and more. Breakfast is a wonderful typical Israeli breakfast again with a lot of choices. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The answer is always Of Course or Let me see what I can do. The roof top is a must visit spot in the hotel. Happy hour will serve you wine and snack which you can take up to the roof top and enjoy. If you come early enough there is a very good chance of free parking in their garage, it is small, first come first served, so get there early. Lastly, bikes are also available to ride the wonderful bike paths of Tel Aviv. Can you tell that we are in love?

The location is fabulous, very close to Tel Aviv port (5 minutes walk) and the beach (2 minutes walk). The room was super clean and very tastefully decorated. we had the beach view and it was great. the balcony on the roof is very nice (too bad that the bar there did not work on the weekend). Breakfast was very very good and very rich and the dining room staff were excellent. The reception staff were very very helpful and did an excellent work of making you feel welcome. The lobby is cosy and very welcoming. overall we had a great time - hope to come back as soon as we can. would (and will) recommend to anyone.

Last weekend my grandmother was staying at the hotel. On Friday morning I joined her for breakfast. From the moment I entered I could feel a sense of 'vacation'. The person in charge of the dining room was very kind. He sat us down at the table my grandmother had asked for in advance. I must mention the coffee machine. Without milk powders and unhealthy things. Great coffee! The breakfast selection is impressive, and everything is made from fresh, quality ingredients. When we finished breakfast, we went to the room to freshen up. The room is spacious, bright colors and is equipped for short stay. We also visited the sun terrace. A wonderful breeze from the sea and a lovely view. Thank you, for hosting my grandmother so pleasantly.

Nice boutique hotel with excellent view of beach & city especially from outside rooftop lounge area. Easy access to beachfront promenade. Nice walk to old town. Good & wide selection for breakfast & dinner. Friendly & helpful staff, esp Rafaela & Diana/Benny who arranged for mini bus airport pick up for our group for a good price.

Tal by the sea is a great hotel. My wife and I came to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We received a bottle of wine and some chocolate which was a lovely surprise. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the sea view was lovely. The terrace on the 10th floor is perfect for some perspective and watching the sunset. Thank you for a perfect vacation.

A not too big new renovated hotel close to the beach and the old port in Tel Aviv. Expecting you with a motivated team at the reception, in the dining room, healthy and various food, nicely prepared, and rooms equipped with coffee bar. Nice rooms and a good service. The rooms to the street are a little bit loud

Very clean boutique hotel just few blocks away from the beach. Bed matresses all good. Far from city center. Need car taxi etc. Public buses near the hotel can take you to your destination. We enjoyed breakfast a lot. Everything was good quality and tasty. Prices high compared to similar european ones but for Tel Aviv I supose are normal.
