This is a fantastic hotel located right in the heart of Tel Aviv, near some great restaurants and very close to the beach (about a 10 minute walk). The room was comfortable with great shower pressure. Everyday there is happy hour on the rooftop with free drinks and snacks with a beautiful view overlooking the fountain. The breakfast is also included in the price of the room and is really impressive, consisting of fresh fruits, vegetables, shakshuka, pastries, cheeses, and more. We will definitely be back!

Best place to stay in Tel Aviv. 3 staff stood out during our stay: Brooks, Katya and Nestle. Brooks persuaded me with an excellent offer during my booking and it fulfilled throughout my stay. Katya, was very supportive when I felt a bit unwell. she offered me ice and kept checking on me during her shift. And, Nestle was at hand when we struggled with our luggage. Thank you all. The location is excellent and full of life. The happy hour on the roof top places cinema hotel on a world class list. The room service, especially the mini bar makes cinema hotel the perfect choice and will definitely recommend to friends and families.

This hotel has exceeded all our expectations, its special design, its perfect location, its treats such as happy hour and late check out. Above all - the personal and warm service! I would definitely come back.

Right in the heart of the city, the location of the hotel is fantastic, surrounded by a ton of great restaurants and amenities. As a museum to the cinema it once was, it is quite exceptional. On the downside, the staff were quite rude and at breakfast stood around talking and laughing amongst themselves, paying little attention to guests. The room was comfortable, but the decor is way too dark, with the aubergine walls and dark furnishings, it felt a little claustrophobic. My room was Cleary near the kitchen storage and entrance and it often smelt like rancid oil. Housekeeping are slow and do not do a thorough job. The rooms are not well cleaned and regularly I’d return from a full day of tours at around 5pm and my room had not been cleaned. The rooms do not come with teaspoons for your tea/coffee, they have cheap popsicle sticks. Last time I was in Tel Aviv, I stayed at the Shalom & Relax hotel (another Atlas Hotel) and the staff, service and decor were incredible - bright, friendly and inviting. It’s a shame her sister hotel doesn’t emanate the same good vibes.

Wonderful hotel in the center of Tel Aviv. Staff was very helpful and friendly in answering all our questions since this was our first time in Israel. Music during Happy hour appreciated too! Love the rooftop area!

I've been lucky enough to stay a full month at the Cinema Hotel and I couldn't wish for a better place to stay! Not only the situation right in the heart of Tel-Aviv is excellent, the great breakfast and the Happy hour on the rooftop are really enjoyable (as already mentioned in others customers' reviews) but the room was nice and quiet and, the most important, all the people working at the hotel are soooo kind and caring!!! They are the ones who made a big difference on my stay there! Thank you very much to all!!! I cannot name them all but a special mention to Olga and Brook at the breakfast, to Natalia who cleaned my room and and toke care of it, to Tamara at the reception desk who is so smiling and caring, and last but not least, to Boris who is just a sweet heart and also so caring!!! (I broke my elbow on the first day of my trip and Boris brought me ice every evening to calm down the pain) Thank you so much for making my stay at the Cinema Hotel so, so special and enjoyable.

Great art decor hotel with nice personal and a magnificent breakfast. it's a great location in the center of this city. Prices are high in Tel Aviv all over the place. Under these circumstances the financial burden for this hotel is acceptable.

The hotel is in a great location, but is dirty and has nothing else going for it. It is in desperate need of remodel. My room was dirty, and not properly cleaned. There is dust everywhere, and it's obvious housekeeping doesn't really do a thorough job cleaning the rooms at all. The carpets were stained badly. I wasn't even sure if the sheets were clean. I am fairly certain a lot of the reviews on here are fake given the circumstances I found the hotel. Breakfast is a disappointment, especially compared to other hotels that are supposedly in the same class. Only stay here if you need to be in this location. BEWARE OF FAKE REVIEWS ON THIS HOTEL. NOT AT ALL ABOVE 3.5 STARS

A lot of small things that make the stay amazing. the rooftop free happy hour, popcorn in the lobby, and the great design of this special hotel. And of course, the location is on Dizingof sq. close to a lot of attractions. We will be back!

Cinema Hotel at Dizengoff Square is another good hotel to stay. Breakfast/ Brunch is surprisingly delicious. Few blocks away from the seashore but feels like Union Square in New York so vibrant and lots of good restaurants around. Public transpo are few steps away.

Great Hotel , an amazing service the design of the Hotel is cool the rooms are small but there design is beautiful with cinema and movie motives the whole Hotel design from the lobby to the rooms captures the history of the building. The only small downside is that the selection in the breakfast buffet is small.

Great value for price. Nice rooms in a good location. The hotel is built in an old theatre and they designed it so it feels like a museum, which really adds to the atmosphere.

Stayed at the Cinema Hotel for 5 days with my wife. Our stay was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and facilities were very well maintained. We really enjoyed the roof deck at different hours of the day & night, and especially during the daily happy hour when food & drinks were served. Will definitely come back!

A hotel and a meaningful museum - two in one - amazing experience, great atmosphere, lovely staff and spacious rooms with a cinematic theme, just great! Recommended. The location now is even better when the Dizingoff square became filled with cafes and the fountain park has been renewed. I loved my stay here :)

Location, pleasant accommodation, great food, high value for mid money, We will return, for sure. The hotel team is very professional and nice, the Beer Garden under the hotel is great place for every meal or beer time. best place for TLV City vacation

Very nice hotel. Right in the middle of the action. Bet 5-7 pm they have "Happy Hour" on the rooftop. Where they serve soup, snackes, coffee/tea and dessert. There's also a bar on the rooftop with comp wine and beer. Hotel is situated on Dizingoff Square with loads of wonderful cafes, restaurants and nearby bars. Also, a nice shopping center 5 minutes walking (Dizingoff Center) Each room has a coffee machine with pods ( including decaf), teas, cookies and a small box of chocolate. Very welcoming Mini bar with complementary drinks in the room too. Breakfast was full of variety

Lovely 🥰 evening at The Cinema Hotel happy hour on the roof top. Fabulous location and a hotel full of Tel Aviv cinema history. 🤩👍🏼🤩 Stayed next door at the duster hotel and all the events are available to guests at both hotels. Breakfast was also served here and was lovely 🥰 - a quality Israeli breakfast, delicious cakes and excellent selection of foods. The coffee ☕️ was disappointing although throughout both hotels there are excellent and quality coffee machines. For breakfast the machine used did not make a tasty coffee. Would definitely recommend this place and the location is excellent. Literally in the heart of Tel Aviv. In my opinion, the best place in the world to be 😎😎😎

This is a historic hotel in dizengoff square full of movie/cinema memorabilia. It was really thought out properly and built before the boom. The breakfast was a huge buffet and you cna even order hot cereal, coffee and omelette. This was one of the most magnificent breakfast buffets i have ever had. There was also a mezzanine on the 4th floor overlooking the dizengoff circle that has cocktail hour plus a coffee bar that is open any time.

Great hotel, amazing location, very friendly & helpful staff! It was not our first visit at this hotel, and we'll come back for sure... Due to COVID we had a few unique requests and concerns, and the staff helped us mitigate each and every one of them. Breakfast is very nice, the location cannot be more central than that and the price is very reasonable. Thank you for another great vacation!

June 2023 , Tel Aviv. It's a small hotel. Lovely service, good meal, clean, happy - hour on Thursdays afternoons, a local singer, free drinks and something to eat, very good for guests who want to feel The heart of Tel - Aviv during the days and nights. The hotel is designed like an old cinema with lots of special pictures and old cameras . 15 min. Walk from the seashore. Parking - 20 $ for 24 hours.

Just awesome !! This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed, although my stay was in their sister hotel- ‘Center Chic’ just opposite to Cinema Hotel but for the buffet breakfast we had to go to Cinema Hotel. As you can see from the pics that this used to be a fully functional cinema hall that just froze in time and it takes one back to the past as every inch of the space is kept just way it was. You will feel as if this cinema hall is active. Projectors, films, cameras, theatre seats, just every object that was once active in this establishment finds a place in this museum like hotel.

The service was excellent thanks to Brook and Hamudi for helping us out. Very accommodating. Clean rooms. Smells good. The location is accessible to a lot of shops and eateries. This should be your first choice to stay in TelAviv. Cinema staffs thank you !!!

Very nice hotel in the heart of TLV, excellent service, room was ok but a bit small, nothing too fancy. The prime location is what this hotel is all about. Also the hotel provides a 20% discount to the nearby "Beer Garden" which was nice.

Awesome cinema themed hotel at a very central location in Tel Aviv! Rooms are spotless clean, cozy and comfortable (we stayed at a standard room), a Nespresso machine and luxurious amenities. There was a free of charge happy hour for hotel guests but we didn't go because we already had plans with friends. And the staff are super friendly and professional. Very well worth the stay.

This hotel does not have a 4 * hotel category because the rooms and toilets are very small and very poorly equipped. The interior of the hotel is special but it is easy to notice that it is an old way of building and that the hotel has been upgraded and renovated several times. The location of the hotel is excellent because it is located in the heart of Tel Aviv. The staff is very friendly and constantly at your service. Breakfast at the hotel is excellent. So if you are not looking for some luxury rooms and accommodation in Tel Aviv and a good location is important to you then Hotel Cinema is the right bet for you

I was disappointed. The hotel is tired, dusty, rooms are small, you can hear any little noise. When the cleaning lady would clean the other rooms it would wake me up in the morning. Especially when they start screaming in Russian. My room was also dirty upon check-in. There was a giant hair in the bed, and stains on the carpets. The breakfast was just okay, and the happy hour was also nothing special. The only positive thing is where the hotel is located. Other than that, I would probably choose another hotel in the area as they’re all cheaper, cleaner, remodeled, and have much better breakfasts. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Overall delightful and we would definitely return. Room was small, but clean and renovated. Bed was wide and comfy but a bit short. Happy hour with live jazz, food, and drink was a highlight - that view! Breakfast was delicious and varied. We unfortunately did not know until we were departing that there are free bikes for use. Staff was terrific - each one of them.

What an amazing experience! Decorated with fascinating vintage art, all about classic Israeli (and global) cinematography, very clean, very welcoming, at a prime location where you get the best of Tlv. Room is well furnished (and designed!), included water bottles&espresso machine, and they left us a bottle of wine and chocolate as a birthday gift (lovely gesture). Gotta mention the hotel’s roof; comfortable with a nice view and a great Happy Hour going on. The friendliest staff is here. Special thanks to Sharli and Muhammad, who made our stay very special. Definitely coming back!

Prime location, at the center of Tel Aviv. Nice Boutiqe hotel with movie's theme rooms and very good service. The rooms with balcony have a great view to Dizingof squere and they are highly recomended. Don't miss the rooftop with the beutiful view.

5 stars is not enogh.... the AMAZING Cinema hotel is uniq in Israeli view. Its starts when you place an orfer, do the check in , stay at the hotel and a more than that! The proffesional stuff help you and answer every question you have. You get what you ask , and if you'll ask the moon, they will bring it to you ! Its used to be the first cinema in Tel Aviv (opened in 1939) and you can see in the hotel an old camers and old cinema tickets and a lot of items. The rooms are amazing, very clean and cozy. The bed is great. The breakfast is fresh, variety of options to eat eggs, salads, fruits,breads... Everything is fresh! There is no parking for the guest so you have to find it by yourself. At the lobby you can get fresh cold lemonade and fresh popcorne. Everyday between 17:00-19:00 there is happy hour on the roof. The location is great, close to the main attractions. We DEFENTLY back! Thank you hotel Cinema.

Cinema Hotel is a very charming boutique hotel right by Dizengoff Square in Tel Aviv. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, the location can hardly be any better, and the vibes are very fun. While the rooms are tiny, they are well-appointed, and I had no trouble sleeping in the bed in my room when I stayed here last month. And while the bathroom was just as tiny as the rest of my room, I easily figured out how to make the most out of the space I had. There's no way I can review this hotel without mentioning breakfast. Cinema Hotel's breakfast buffet was easily my favorite breakfast during my Israel trip this year! They offer such a wide and interesting variety of local cuisine, and everything tasted so great. There's nothing quite like some well-cooked shakshuka to wake me up and get me ready for a busy day ahead! Oh, and if you have some extra time, check out their rooftop bar and lounge area for some incredible views of the city!

Always a pleasure to spend a weekend at the Cinema Hotel. Maybe our tenth visit. Staff is always helpful, happy hour was especially enjoyable this time with a dj, breakfasts as good as always with very pleasant waitresses and waiters.

  • 5/5 Lydia L. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel is very clean and beautifully designed. Great service and staff. Complimentary happy hour drinks and snacks on the sunroof. The hotel was not very busy on the day we've left so we were offered a late checkout for free. Rich breakfast. The location is very central, just minutes walk from many Tel Aviv attractions, restaurants and shopping. The sea is 15 min walk. Be aware though that the hotel parking is really small and mostly not available, so you'll probably have to park at a paid garage. But this is a very central city location, so you'd expect parking issues, and there are several parking garages nearby.

Rooms are not that big, specially if you plan to stay for a long period, but they are modern and in great condition. The rooftop, with its happy hour, and great breakfast service are hard to beat.

I'm fussy and I really liked this hotel. Love the location, a short walk from the best parts of Tel Aviv- the theaters, the beaches ports, parks, the markets, shops and best restaurants. Love the modern and clean look and feel and the authentic cinema theme throughout the hotel- it's refreshing. Loved the way the staff is as friendly and polite as they are efficient. Loved the breakfast buffet, the variety of fresh food and again the service. We had a small room with everything we needed including a mini bar fridge and coffee machine, and a small quirky balcony (step up onto this) facing a garden so less noise. Didn't have time for happy hour on the roof terrace- another good reason to go back!

  • 5/5 Dolev U. 7 months ago on Google • 2 reviews
We had our room at the 4th floor right across from the rooftop display. The hotel is beautiful and it seems that a lot of thought was put into its old-school cinematic design , standard rooms with everything that a couple might need with extra nice things like stacked mini-bar and chocolate that was waiting on the table. One negative thing is the view from the room that is towards another gray building Overall we are very pleased and would most likely come back again
