$600 dollars was stolen from my luggage while staying at Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv City Center. I have waited 4 days for this to be resolved but it hasn't been. I get the feeling they are stalling. Do not stay at this hotel unless you are prepared to be a victim. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and been to over 30 countries, but Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv takes the cake. Worst ever. I hate a thief. Edit: I reported the theft the morning I checked out. CP has not confirmed to me that they actually conducted an interview with the housekeeping that entered my room. All I'm getting is boilerplate responses, and the....if you didn't use the safe then it's not our problem answer.

Centrally located, adjacent to a shopping center and easy short walk to a rail road station. Currently construction is going on all around the street, but I heard no noise from construction, however, very loud noises from a kid's playground right below hotel, on top of parking garage, I assume this is during school summer brake. They party all day and until late hours every night, so if you want to relax during the day or evening, good luck! Hotel serves good breakfast, buf only milk-based products, bakery and some fish. Omelet station is nice, they'll make eggs any style you like, to order. They have a nice lounge, serving similar food to breakfast. On arrival I had to wait about 40 minutes for 2 receptionists to check in one guest each, they don't have separate check in for IHG members and the process was painfully slow. This is the only major compint that I have, other things are minor and not worth mentioning. Staff is very friendly at every step and will try to go out of their way to help, should you need it.

The hotel had all the amenities which you will need for a comfortable stay, however the room design looks very old. The TV, hair dryer looked as if they have not been upgraded since many years. Very very limited menu, there is no option but to go in the mall nearby and eat. Plus the dinner options get more limited at night.

A great hotel to stay in Tel Aviv with easy access to transportation and shopping centre right at the front door. Room was amazingly large, clean and comfortable. They also provide a shuttle bus to and from the beach which is a free service. I will definitely be staying again! Thanks

Beautiful hotel right in the city of Tel Aviv! Beautiful room and was quite clean. The pool was quite old and wasn’t the best looking anymore :( over all breakfast was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Great location and standard hotel amenities. It's a bit loud with music, noise and activity from the mall. They have a pillow menu and blackout curtains. Over all, convenient location and clean rooms.

The BEST hotel in TelAviv.....unfortunately not in a great area. But there is a shuttle to the beach area...to the Criwn Plaza on the beach. Rooms are of a high standard, comparable to Europe. VERY clean.

Lovely rooms. Great staff. Breakfast is very nice. An enormous selection. If you're looking for a beach holiday, the location isn't good at all. As we were on holiday in April, and it's not warm enough for the beach, it was fine for us. Sarona Market is 2 mins away, as are many of the Chef restaurants in Tel Aviv, so there's always something to eat close by.

The hotel is in a perfect spot, close to the train (very easy to travel to/from airport, with traffic in Tel Aviv it’s definitely a plus) , shopping mall, bars. The room was spotless, abundant breakfast with a delicious coffee! I found also the service very kind, fast and professional. Denis has been warm and kind to help with check out and make the process very smooth. Thanks team you made my stay a 10 out of 10!

It was expensive and the bathtub was small and narrow, the shower was huge. Room was roomy, had a fold out couch and the beds and pillows were super comfy and clean. The TV was difficult to operate and was flipping out, the breakfast buffet was freaking phenomenal! The front desk can get busy, we had to wait on our rooms to be ready and it takes a while to check out sometimes but the staff were super helpful and on point for anything we needed. Beware if you go on shabbat the mall will be closed all day, and all of the food places close early Friday. They still had hit food for breakfast on shabbat and hot coffee.

The hotel was clean and had a good lobby where you could sit and drink tea. Being an IHG member, I was offered an early check in as well as an upgrade to a bigger room. A complimentary fruit basket was also kept in my room welcoming me. I only spent one night in the hotel but I was very happy with the staff, service and the facilities in the hotel.

Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv Why will anyone give a hotel without basic amenities a 5-star? The hotel only has a beverages/snacks bar, no restaurants or room service. In fact, I struggle to give this hotel a 2-stars. Unknown to us, we were in Israel during a long religious public holiday; the whole city was shut down, there was no public transport, and almost all the shops were closed. So we spend most of our time in our hotel room. The only form of travelling was by taxi at a minimum fare of ₪60 (ILS), about £15 (GBP). Of course, I am not apportioning any of this to the hotel. But, what was unforgiving was the fact that the hotel operates a shuttle service; yet, no one told us, even though we were in regular contact with the reception asking for directions, where to buy food and so on. Credits where it is due; the hotel was super clean. Also, the staff were super courteous and helpful.

WOW! First of all, we have got an upgrade for the room. It was huuuge bedroom, but not as high as possible. Thanks for this amazing room. The location is great, Azriely tower higher floor, stunning view on Tel Aviv district and Ayalon high way. Excellent outdoor sound isolation, no traffic noise at all. No balcony at Azriely tower, we didn't need it. It has a nice and small swimming pool (quite long, but narrow. 4 person lanes) and a hot tub. The breakfast on Shabat morning was served on 11th floor, tasty and with a great selection of dishes. Thank you, Crown plaza staff! We have enjoyed our stay with you. Recommend for staying !

Truly the worst "5 star hotel" I've ever stayed at. I was there for 2 weeks. 1. Room was never serviced properly. There was hair on the floor when I checked in. Towels were not replaced and I regularly had to call to ask for replacements. The rooms were barely vacuumed the 2 weeks I was there. 2. Laundry was expensive and poorly done, with water stains left on most of my clothing. There was also a stale odor left when I received my items back. 3. There is no business center available, only a "business lounge" that you have to pay for daily, and that plays loud music constantly throughout the day. For a hotel advertising itself as a "City Center" hotel, I expect at a minimum a quiet room where I can work during my business trip, free of charge. I've never experienced this in any of my previous business trips. 4. Front desk was never available, when I called from the States prior to my trip, when I called from the room during my stay, and still not available when I'm calling to get a MAJOR billing issue taken care of. I've been told by the operator that the "front desk is busy" and can't take my calls. 5. Aforementioned MAJOR BILLING ISSUE that no one is able to help with even after 2 weeks. I was told that the "printer was down" when I checked out so I couldn't check what they were billing me. Turns out they were billing me twice for the entirety of the stay. One bright light in the experience - Thank you Noy for checking us in, you are a treasure. Only pleasant moment in the entirety of the trip. Embarrassing service. Never staying here again.

This hotel does it just right. Inbal at reception greeted us, welcoming us back. A sensational room with a commanding view of Tel Aviv. And the location is perfect.

Good clean large rooms. Fairly good breakfast, except they simply can't ever get the eggs right. Well located. The gym is nice but crowded like a fish market!

Crown Plaza is a stunning hotel with spotless, modern rooms connected to a shopping mall, grocery store an office tower. The food at breakfast the business lounge was incredible and the staff are always friendly. Definitely a great place to stay if you're on business in Tel Aviv.

Considering that it is a 5-star hotel I would not say that the rooms are the best. Room was very outdated, I think that it was not renovated in years. The TV in the room was very old, the windows where not cleaned from the inside, there was dust above the bed, and all the tables in the room where made out of glass. Bathroom was not cleaned properly when I arrived. On the other hand staff was nice, breakfast was good, and the room size was good.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 days, and chose this location specifically because it was near my office. It’s a very good option for those looking to stay in the center of Tel-Aviv with access to businesses, shopping, museums, and restaurants. Many of the staff members are new and a bit unfamiliar with internal processes and how to handle issues. However, it seems that the hotel is in the process of changing the culture for the good based on feedback from management there in-person. We did experience a few issues during our stay, but it was made right because of the hospitality from Medea (Guest Relations Manager). She is AMAZING! Gal (Hospitably Manager), Ilana (Front Desk), Omer (Security) and a few others are very guest focused as well. Based on their level of engagement and enthusiasm, we could tell immediately that they enjoyed working for Crowne Plaza. These staff members are truly a hidden gem in a world where this type of care and commitment is severely lacking. I hope they all receive the credit they deserve from the corporate office and that they are recognized for their positive contributions to the organization. We really enjoyed our time there and will stay at this location on our next visit. This is based on the great relationships we formed with the staff and our overall experience.

My first experience into this hotel, was poor. The front desk reception was cold and lack professionalism, perhaps lack of training or just too young to have worldly experience dealing with international tourists. However, once I checked into my room I received a phone call from the duty manager on the day name Gal and apologized for my experience. He offered a very warm welcoming to the Crown Plaza and was very accommodating. My stay was short, but I have stayed in numerous Crown Plaza Hotel throughout the world, including Muscat in Omar, Coogee in Sydney Australian and Dubai UAE, and here I was in Israel Crown Plaza City Centre Tel Aviv.. This hotel is located in the hub of Tel Aviv City Centre. The vibe here is fast but with a warmth of family community. The markets and shops are very good and easy to get about. Crown Plaza is excellent for business trips, corporate functions and meetings and also couples vacation. A rough start, but thanks to the senior staffs, such as Medea at reception for taking care of our returned flights and management. They were able to change my opinion to stay again in this hotel. A great finish to my stay. Breakfast and variety of food at this Plaza was the best in the 4 hotels I stay in Israel.

Excellent hotel in the center of Tel Aviv - Few minutes walk from Sarona market (lots of bars and restaurants). The hotel staff is really nice, and tried their best to make it a perfect stay. The breakfast is extraordinary. We got upgraded to a studio room which is really spacious with amazing views. They also have high speed internet, which made it really easy to take zoom meetings from the room. Highly recommended!

I was welcomed by Gal , he knows how to take care of the guest in the hotel. I am spire elite. Gal knows what it is to take care of his guest. He went above and beyond to make our stay first class. We are coming back in 4 months and will ask for Gal by name. Media was also great , she helped us so much at the hotel and got us everything to make our stay very special. They are a fantastic representative of the IHG brand and should be commended on the service.

room was good before the last night - enormous nose made me awake, called the reception and nothing. Was hoping for apologies at least (I am flying whole next night...). Then, time changed to Summer, it also shortened my sleep and rejected to stay a little more. Strange, saying softly. Maintaining work 2am? Crazy! Location far from nice places. Good for train station and the mall. WIll not choose it anymore.

Horrible service. Waited almost an hour to check in. The pool and spa were closed. The rooms are nice and clean Won't be coming again.

Update - Responding to Ella: That is incorrect. Priceline told me that the hotel is not willing to cancel the reservation on its end, and therefore, will not be able to release the funds to me until the hotel cancels the reservation and notifies Priceline. Priceline has called the front desk and manager and the response I got was from Priceline was that the staff on duty were unwilling to cancel the reservation with no penalty, even though I was assured that there would be no issues by the same staff who are giving me issues now! Poor customer service. Mix up with which hotel was booked at (city center or beach - both owned by Crown Plaza). Ended up going to the beach crown plaza, and the city center said that they would refund me, since they are both crown plaza hotels. Fast forward a month and they have yet to release the funds back to Priceline even though I was already assured that there would be no problem switching hotels.
