Very nicely located guest house/ hotel immediately across from New Gate. Beautiful and historic building where many tourists visit. Chapel nestled on first floor was grand. Enjoyed rooftop views, balcony room, and dinner at rooftop restaurant. The breakfast was not on par with other properties of this class but loved everything else.

Twin beds room with balcony; 1200 shekels(300USD) per night. Rooms: Beds are smaller than single size. Food: Not fresh vegetables Restaurant staff: If you are an individual tourist, not a group, then you can't sit a table near food. Bathroom: Dust in the ventilation, bad ordor from the drain. Water: NOT FREE. YOU NEED TO BUY WATET EVERYDAY Staff in general: Customer should be walking on eggshells due to sour faced staffs.

A beautiful center of Catholic life, open to every guest , one can come here for a Mass or prayer celebrated in a lovely chapel on the first floor, come and eat delicious food in the restaurant as well as go upstairs and admire the breathtaking view of the Old City from the Notre Dame terrace. Beautiful, peaceful, cozy and clean, a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city located perfectly in its vibrant center. Always come back whenever in Jerusalem!

This is a Catholic hotel Notre Dame. Its undoubted advantages for pilgrims are its location (right at the New Gate of the Old City), cleanliness, good quality, and it is also important that the hotel is Christian. The rooms are comfortable. Sleep quality. Great "tropical" shower. The food is not the most varied, but absolutely decent and high quality. There is a Catholic church right in the hotel, as well as a museum of the Turin Shroud. There you can see the reconstruction of a 3D model of the body of Jesus on the shroud, see examples of scourges and wounds from them, crucifixion, etc. I really liked the museum, it's worth a visit. As a rule, pilgrims do not know about him.

Perfectlocation on the holy land. Rooms are comfortable depends on what you would like to pay. I had a simple room because I was out most of the day. Very clean and polite the staff is. Buffet is always fresh with options. It is a Roman Catholic pilgrimage housing but anyone can go. They do not infringe on your beliefs or practices so donโ€™t be shy to stay. Bathroom was fantastic. I was on the second floor Rm 109. Roof top offer beautiful view in the day and night. Top restaurant very cool.

We were in Jerusalem for 7 days and stayed in the old city. our guide showed us the cafe in the hotel and it had some of the best apple pie and ice cream! So, every afternoon around 3:00 my daughter and I would go over to the hotel cafe, have ice cream and pie. On the 5th day a new guard was at the gate and wanted to know where we were going. I told him the cafe and he just waved us away like we were a nuisance. Same on 6th day. On 7th I asked him why he kept stopping us and he came OUT of the guard house and told me HE was security and he would stop who he wants to. He scared my daughter. This is a hotel, not a checkpoint. Not only will we never go back to the cafe, my parents who are coming in February for their 50th anniversary just crossed this hotel off the list and the guide who told us about the cafe was beyond ticked off we were treated this way and will not be returning, even if he does get free coffee. You may run a nice hotel, but you need some serious work in the hiring department.

Amazing location with multiple time for Holy Mass. We were able to make a 6:30pm mass after a long day of sight seeing in Old City Jerusalem. We enjoyed dinner afterwards in the Allegro Restaurant which was also onsite. All the staff was very friendly and the location has a very safe, clean, and upscale feel.

A beautiful building next the Old City. There's a terrace and restaurant/bar on the top floor which overlooks the Temple Mount. I must see in Jerusalem.

Didn't stay at the hotel but had lunch at the roof top restaurant. Really good food with a stunning view. Can't remember what it was called on the menu but it was an appetizer sampler. Very filling for lunch. No need for an entree.

I stayed here during Holy Land tours while with the U.S. Army more than 20 years ago. It's amazing it still stands as beautiful as it did then. I also wish I would have appreciated my time there then. Hoping to return someday.

I went to the Wine & cheese restaurant at the top. I love love love this place. The view is amazing and the food is great. It's expensive for locals and tourists, but I think that for an important occasion if you are a local or a nice diner on your trip is worth it... I just saw that now if you want to see the view from the other side of the rooftop, you need to pay, I saw it for free. I think if it's 5 shekels only, is definitely worth it

Probably the best cost-benefit hotel in Jerusalem. Located just outside the Old Town, this hotel offers great rooms and a nice restaurant for decent prices. There is also a church and a panoramic observatory in there. I totally recommend it.

Without a doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Jerusalem!! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The staff was extremely friendly, the cafes very flexible (appreciate this!) and the supervisor deserves a special thanks. The rooftop restaurant of the hotel was great with some of the most amazing views. When I say food was great (I mean it). We had five great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the management and staff who do a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality! Overall experience was awesome. I will recommend this hotel to every couple and families. You wont regret it.

It's a beautiful large limestone building jam packed with tourists and their busses. I came for Mass 2 times. There are not near enough women's restrooms. The receptionists were slightly friendly. They had free ice water but it was all saturated with lemon and mint which gives us older folks heart burn. The rooms were small unless you get a suite. The chapel is holy and gorgeous with The Blessed Virgin surrounded by pink.

It's all about the location here. The lay staff was wonderful and very attentive. The food is just okay. Lots of noise from the bar and patio until 11pm or so. The wines at the roof top bar are extremely sub-par. Might be 1 good selection. Sure the view is good. The chapel is nice.

We had a nice and pleasant stay. Staff and management that helped us was friendly was and able to help accommodate us by allowing us to leaving our luggage at the hotel since we were going away for a few days. Breakfast wasn't that bad, although I felt it had the same choices every single day. The location is ideally perfect since a majority of the landmarks are at least in walkable distance between Norte Dame and Jerusalem. We even attended mass at the church and I found it cool to have in a hotel. The best part of the hotel was the rooftop since I am on top I get to see the surrounding areas of The City of Jerusalem. Only downside is the shower in the room and some spots in the room had little bits of mold, rust and dirt. The floor in the bathroom easily puddles after you open the door when entering and exiting the shower.

Soaring stone structure, lovely rooms with great a/c for us spoilt Texans. Food and wine at all 3 restaurants are amazing. Ask for Abeer, sheโ€™s an angel - my familiar face for our stay.

An amazing place. Really welcoming. Comfortably situated right in front of the New Gate of the old city and a short walk to the city centre. Parking is included. The place has only just opened after the pandemic breakout and they are really trying their utmost to please their guests. Lovely rooms with balconies, perfect for taking in the Jerusalem air.
