It is important to know the fact that the place comes to save monkeys from various horrors that have passed or from different cases that require treatment. So those of you who come and see that suddenly there are not enough monkeys or monkeys that have disappeared it may be good news that their rehabilitation has succeeded. In general, there is a kurkar parking lot next to the entrance. The park is located close to the Ben Shemen Forest so that additional activity can be combined afterwards. The park itself is suitable for 2-3 hours at a slow pace, assuming that you make 2 stops for breakfast / lunch and stop for ice cream and the use the various facilities that the park offers (playgrounds and Gimbury spring). Apart from monkeys, there are some of the farm animals that can be petted when the attraction at the end is walking in the area of life of the small and mischievous monkeys who are not behind a cage and will appreciate your belongings. This is a nice circular route and a center that allows for light activity in the center of israel.

(Translated by Google) A particularly humane place, This is where all the smuggled, illegal monkeys that came to the country and the houses of the people come. The place is neat and tidy, guidance and accompaniment along the entire route. During this time the playgrounds and gymboree are closed. A pleasant experience suitable for children up to the age of 7-8 in my opinion no more than that.

Pathetic place. Highly unrecommended.Hardly worth third of the ticket price. Our family loves animals and zoos, therefore we decided to visit. Unmaintained. ladies' bathrooms did not have electricity and using it was very inconvenient. We saw maybe two or three monkeys and a couple of donkeys. We've spent around 150 NIS for the tickets not including overpriced ice cream which you can buy every 10 meters of walk, as there is nothing else to do or see. Oh, yes..there is also a dirty children's playground. The purpose of the place is sanctuary and rehabilitation for primates and this is completely understood and very welcomed but charging people for such a pathetic exhibition is an outrage. They should have made it free and in the end, you could have donated any amount of money you feel comfortable with. Once again spare yourself a long journey and spend your money elsewhere.

I must eay that the monkeys themselves were not the main attraction when i visited here with my kids. The playgrounds and Jimbori were much more fun. Many of the cages were empty and on others we did not manage to see the monkyes. We spent 3 hours, most playing.

Monkey Park, an organization that rescues and rehabilitates monkeys. The person who conducts the tour tells in detail about each monkey and animal, how they got to the shelter. It was interesting for me as an adult. It makes me proud that we have a shelter in Israel. It’s not very convenient that you have to wait for everyone, and the people were with small children who were not at all interested in standing and listening. In my opinion, this is for children +4, little ones will not be interested. Therefore, we escaped from the group and had a personal excursion for us and another family. There are monkeys of such breeds that I have not seen in zoos. The monkey on the stone is actually love at first sight, this wonderful animal smiles, dances, poses. And whoever talks about the inflated price, guys, think of it as a little help for these wonderful animals.

Great place for a family outing. Especially younger kids- older kids will be bored unless they really like animals. The capuchins at the end we're a real highlight, as was the African cultural presentation ( only on holidays I think).

Such an important place! They are doing an amazing job rescuing the monkeys from the horrible things human are doing. This is not a place the pet monkeys and have them sit on you! So don't think you are coming to a pet shop, this is a place that in repairing what we did ! 1.5-2 h of a tour with amazing guides Price for a ticket is 40+ NIS and all is a contribution to the NGO

It's an amazing place, fun for all the family and all ages! You know how people who care about the well-being of animals don't like going to zoos because it's basically animal abuse and forcing them into captivity just to entertain hedonistic humans? Well, the only primates in this park are rescued, confiscated from labs performing experiments on them, or tiktok users keeping them as pets and dying their fur for likes. The sanctuary offers these primates an opportunity to recover and rehabilitate. Sadly, they will live in captivity, but only because the initial abuse has prevented them from ever being able to survive on their own in their natural habitat. Every penny you spend (admission & tour, refreshments, ice cream, soft drinks, gift shop, everything!) goes to feeding and caring for the cute monkeys and apes and to cover the expenses of the sanctuary so it can keep saving innocent souls. Most of the staff are volunteers, and they are as professional and knowledgeable as they are kind and compassionate. They even feed, spade, and neuter stray cats that wander into the vicinity (and then feed and care for them). The place has a playground, several sitting areas for picnics, a very nice jamboree, and some goats and peacocks roaming free! If you're the kind of people who disobey rules for the sake of feeling superior, who leave wrapping papers and such on the ground even when surrounded by garbage cans, who feed animals when told not to and who jump over fences because your kid wants to pet the monkey - please avoid this place, and while you're at it take a long moment to consider the kind of effect you have on this world. However, if you're educated, considerate of animals and people, and want to have a lovely and rewarding experience , please come and enjoy the sanctuary's attractions! We've been twice already, went on the tour, and bought toys for the girls, and we'll definitely return as soon as we can! Many thanks to all the wonderful people there who always make the visit fun, heartwarming, and unforgettable. You folks are heroes.

Very nice place to do some different activity, especially with kids. 35 minute drive from Jerusalem. The do such good thinks with the monkeys and they are very well taken care of. However, the facilities for visitors could be slightly better. There are like 3 playgrounds for kinds inside, one of them is a Gymboree, really cool an big, but full of dirt and old. So, kids will have fun, but take that into consideration. The first 10-15 minutes is a guided tour, but then you can go on your own. Very important if you are going with kids, no food allowed inside, just water. The whole thing, including playground took us 2 hours and it was enough, but you could spend a little more or a little less. Finally, I took my stroller l, and it was fine although a bit hard with the dirt roads at some points. For my 2.5 year old, I wish I wouldn't have taken it, but it wasn't bad.

We enjoyed today, a lovely tour led by Yotam and Aviv. With such grace. It was hot, but there were sprinklers that refreshed us part of the way. The animals are cute who also suffered a little before. And go ahead son of sweet squirrel monkeys. It was worth every penny.

Friendly knowledgeable staff who are largely volunteers for this sanctuary. It is not a zoo. We were only a group of three and they did not make us wait and gave us a what was effectively a private tour in English. Some of the monkeys were shy to come out, but the guides did not rush and coaxed them out. While we were adults, they had very nice park/playing areas with slides for the kids. The weather was not the best and the place could use some upgrades, but the staff overcame what looked to be a 3 star out of 5 star place to make it a very enjoyable experience which I would recommend.

Perfect combination between play structures for young kids and monkeys. (3 play structures, the last one is a huge 4 levels Gymboree, with ball pool for younger kids) Spent 3 hours there. Even though it was a hot day they have little sprinklers that cool things off. The monkeys are cute, and by the end of the tour you can touch them. The kids (2yo & 5yo) had lots of fun.

Short circular walking around the monkeys and their cages/home (at some point they are free and you are in a cage ;) Although there are only 2 stops with the initial guide, it was great to hear the explanations, and see the monkeys along the way. Great place to go visit , there are guides that explain to you all about the monkeys who live there, where they came from and what their background story. It is recommended to reach them when less warm. There are plenty of seating place and lots of playgrounds for children to play. And the best for last the road before you leave the park you have the free monkey part! All the little monkey run around you! (!!WARNING ⚠ You can't play with them! They can bit you ⚠ WARNING!! ) All the crew thet works is very polite and friendly Time for a full park visiting about 2 hour
