I was at your SPA on Tuesday eve, for massage. And it was just bad. Orit was in hurry to get home I think. She just put an oil on me, and let's say, stroked and squeezed my body a bit. It's nice, especially after the long working day for me, but guys it is not a massage OK? It is STAM. Like if I was dummy and it is my first time at professional massaging. Next thing, she was in such a hurry to leave that she cleaned the room before I left so I felt like I disturb her. And other two men who works in spa were waiting next to the room, so when i was cruising there in from the shower to the room, in a waffle robe, I felt very embarrassed.... I don't recommend anyone to use this SPA. They have let me in WITHOUT green passport (tav yarok)!!!

Disappointing spa

Let's start with the positives, the hotel is beautiful, well appointed and the staff were friendly as well as accommodating including a late check out. The room, with a balcony, was clean and sound proof. Where the hotel fell short was in terms of overall attention to detail. Parts of the elevator as well as hallway weren't clean, the hotel pool area was looking tired, worn and uninviting. The pool chairs without exception all had stains in some form or another. Our balcony was also unkept with bird droppings which hadnt been cleaned. I would say there is room for improvement, especially when a guest is paying over 300€ a night. Just the smallest improvements would elevate this hotel and tempt guests such as myself to return.

We booked a couple massage to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We paid for a massage, breakfast and pool. The massage was just ok nothing to write home about. Then they sent us for breakfast to Landwer Cafe across the street which was not great and that’s an understatement. Finally we went up to the pool on the roof for some fun and got even more disappointed. No service at all, used towels left on each bed and I wouldn’t call it a pool. I guess it’s ok if that’s what you are looking for.

We just spent a week at Bachar House with our teenage sons. We really enjoyed our stay and by the end of the week felt like we were coming home each night when we came back from trips. Bachar is a very friendly small boutique hotel with a great roof terrace and very pleasant communal bar/lounge with complimentary coffee/wine/cheese. Staff were all excellent. However it is not a 300 room international anonymous brand hotel - if you want that do not stay here.

My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights and loved our stay. The room and shower were very nice and the lounge with beer, wine and snacks was fantastic. The location is perfect, close to restaurants and bars. We flew out very late in the evening (midnight) and they allowed us to shower after a busy day sightseeing. Granted the hotel was not inexpensive but in my opinion worth every cent.

Really enjoyed the stay. Room and facilities were great- clean and comfortable. Lounge area with coffee, wine, and snacks was a very nice treat. Staff was very courteous and location is perfect!

Stayed for one night celebrating my birthday . The hotel locations is perfect , in the middle of the TLV craziness.. The place itself is intim and quit .Stuff is very friendly giving outstanding service . Lounge bar with snacks , beers and Cava . Definitely will come back. Price is little expensive for such facility but still worth it

Bachar house was my place of abode while staying at Rothschild 22. A great combination of historical Tel Aviv and modern accomodations.

Just got back from the hotel. My sister would like to stay there for 8 days with my little niece. I knew that the location was good cause I live nearby. But I wanted to check everything for my family before their arrival. But I saw nothing. 2 receptionists sitting, giving me short answers, not willing to show me around, or convincing me that their hotel is the kindest, loveliest, highly recommended place to stay in. I don't understand why. What kind of hotel is this without hospitality?
