A very nicely laid out small local museum with a very helpful guide. Drop in if you are in Filoti. Only 2 mins from the main square.

Super interesting museus with a rich collection of items that materialize a bit of Filoti’s everyday life in the last century. A previous experience away from the touristy mainstream. Stephanie guided us passionately throughout the rich history of this central Naxian village.

Enjoyed the free tour and insights into the way of life for the period. Worth donating to (after signing the book) to support the preservation of history.

What a beautiful place! A quaint museum just behind the church, the museum shares the history of the special village of Filoti, Naxos. I was immediately welcomed by a lovely lady and thoroughly enjoyed the hour we spent there! A recommendation to anyone visiting Naxos! Thank you!

It’s a great museum for visiting. It’s located in the village Filoti, near the church of Panagia Filotitissa. The entrance is free. There are 3 or 4 rooms with lots of furniture items, clothes and other things from previous traditional household. The lady working in the museum is very nice. Worth visiting.

Excellent little museum recently set up to share the experience of the beautiful village of Filoti! There are some really interesting exhibits and it is so interesting to see first hand how the locals used to live in the community! The admission is free with an optional, discretionary donation towards the maintaining of the museum. If you are visiting Filoti, I highly recommend giving this museum a visit - well worth your time! You won't get a more authentic experience than this on the island!

A great little museum. It's free. The very helpful guide explained many of the items. Make sure you go. Many people just walked straight past it when I was there.

I loved the museum! We stop to see the village and have some food, it took us by surprise! The lady explained many details and gave us a tour. It is small but really interesting. Recommended 100% :)

Beautiful museum! Very interesting way to see what life was like in older times in Naxos. Not too time consuming, so a good way to spend a half hour.
