Pefki's hiden jem! Located in a quite yard surrounding the Cultural Center Melina Merkouri it offers a small but tadteful variety of delicious souvlaki with a small veriety of rather unique flavor of home made chatneys! Try the peach one and you won:t regret it. Everything is delicious and you may either order ahead for your tsble, delivery or take away. Service is quite helpful but needs some improovement.

The host is an amazing guy that makes you feel comfortable and cozy. The taste of the handmade chutneys that we’ve tried are out of this earth.. and of course I cannot forget to mention that the handmade pita, icli kofte and the meat were very different and delicious . I’m saving one star for my next visit

Been eating here and ordering from home for 15+ years. The high ratings are totally deserved. Everything here is handmade daily by the two owners who are culinary talented at a high level. Everything on the menu is 5 star worthy experience. Standouts for me are the Arabic bread wraps and falafel, absolutely awesome.

Just wow. Unbelievable customer service, beautiful place and atmosphere. We ordered French fries, falafel and homemade Arabic bread which comes with meat of your choice. Everything is freshly made daily and trust me , one can’t truly understand the difference between frozen and fresh food. The staff was so nice to offer us sauces to try! I will definitely come back here whenever I return to Athens !

Lovely cool atmosphere, an oasis of summer evenings. Friendly, good service, excellent quality, amazing snacks with flavors of "anatolia" and Mediterranean cuisine. There's not too much variety but there are simple "honest" dishes in affordable prices. They can speak more than 5 languages besides Greek (ex. English, German, Turkish, etc). I know I will come back soon.

Delicious dishes. Must try various chutney sauces and the arabic pitta with steak among so many other. Perfect to dine with friends and family or just couples. Notis is a great host. The outdoors place surrounded by trees and flowers will make you feel you are dining in a village in the mountains or somewhere exotic. Will definitely return.

Perhaps the best kebab in Athens. I was recommended this place by my friend and it did not disappoint. We sat in this little garden with beautiful flowers and ordered arabic pitta wraps with homemade chips. The service was really fast, the flavors were incredible and the atmosphere was really pleasant. The host was so nice and he treated us in the end of our meal with a handmade dessert. 5/5

What can be said that hasn’t already been, I can only add that the reviews are spot on when it’s mentioned that Notis is a hidden gem. The freshness, the quality of ingredients and the care taken in the preparation comes through in leaps and bounds when you put that first bite into your mouth. Everything we ate was sublime tasting, not overly spicy but very flavoursome, fresh and hearty. The sauces worthy of special mention, incredible. Honestly, make a trip to Notis, your tastebuds will thank you.

Divine food! I cannot believe I found this hIdden gem This tavern is located in the cute gardens between some buildings in the affluent neighborhood of Pefki. I had heard outstanding reviews from the locals so I visited with my family. We immediately got a warm welcome and a VIP treatment from the owner (the co owner speaks Spanish, by the way) which we have only encountered in michelin star restaurants! Each dish was an experience!Nothing heavy, everything made -and as I said to Notis- as if it was cooked by angels! Excellent salad, excellent suvlakis, fine wine. The atmosphere is relaxed and it’s a kids friendly restaurant as they can run around freely with no danger from passing cars. We had some left overs and Notis gladly packed it for taking it out. If you are in downtown Athens, you can take the M1 metro line and it takes about half an hour to get to the KAT Metro stop, then it’s a 15’ walk in a beautiful, safe and green neighborhood. Even easier if you have a car, lots of free parking nearby. Very memorable experience! I’ll definitely visit again in the future!

Absolutely thrilled with the location, the food, the vibe, and the owner. Words are not enough to describe what this hidden gem has to offer. Highly recommend the falafel. Certainly coming back again and bringing more friends to enjoy such a unique mix of Greek and middle eastern meal.

For some time now, I have been frequenting Notis Suvlakia in Iliako Horio, and I must say, it is a hidden gem that I strongly suggest. The food quality is outstanding, emphasizing homemade ingredients and traditional flavors. The top dishes I highly recommend are the pitta wraps and skepasti. The sauces made in-house are a remarkable feature, bringing an added layer of flavor to every dish. The atmosphere is very welcoming and family-friendly, which contributes to the overall dining experience. I highly suggest Notis Suvlakia for anyone who wants to enjoy an authentic Greek dining experience that is also great for families. I rate it 5/5 stars!

Aside of cooking with fully organic dishes, fresh ingredient, dishes made on the day, the falafels, pita with chicken, kebab and all salads are exceptionally tasty. And don’t get me started on the deserts and wine. The owners themselves are often seen working and interacting with people , catering to everyone’s needs with kindness and lots of love. As someone who’s recently moved to Athens I really got to experience delicious food with amazing service. I’m definitely going back! A total hidden gem with best falafel in athens(probably greece)

Food tasting in the courtyard of "Notis" is a unique experience that it "forces" you to come again and again. Delicious food, since you can taste also the excellent quality of its ingredients. A picturesque yard, with trees and flowers where especially in the evening you can relax from every tough thought. Last but not least, the kindness of the owner along with his simplicity is remarkable.

A great place just in the heart of a lovely courtyard. Food was delicious and influenced from the middle Eastern cuisine. Spices in the dishes were mild, still keeping flavours authentic. The highlight was the dessert, a perfect way to end a perfect dinner. Service was friendly and informative. Highly recommend dinning here.

Wonderful food and great and very humorous service. We were given very good advice about the food and everything tasted great. One of us sprained his ankle before our visit and he was also well taken care of.

Best falafel and chicken hand made wraps in north suburbs of Athens. Don t miss one of the 12 different sauces prepared with passion and love from a Lebanese specialist.

You jump into a totally underground Athens block and fall into a magic garden made of trees, flowers, tables, soft lights and genuine people. And once on that chairs you will meet the best greek food ever tried meticulously explained by the owner of the restaurant, which is one of the best things happening there inside. Meat and vegetables meet every mediterranean country in a mix of tastes that will surprise you, as simple and authentic they are. No doubt we ate there the best falafel ever, the highest quality meat and arabic bread, extraordinary sauces made by fruits and curious combinations. You can't miss this magic.

Great atmosphere and dishes. Very polite people and friendly. All the dishes were handmade and the prices are really great compared to the quality. We were there for lunch, but we definitely are going back for dinner.
