I do not exaggerate when I tell you this was one of the best meals (breakfast) that I have ever eaten. I got the savory pancakes with eggs, bacon, and a side of Avocado. Everything was amazingly tasty and super fresh. Even the ice tea which was a house orange blossom with fresh mint was fantastic! The staff is also very professional and gracious. I can not recommend this place enough. It is not to be missed.

You wouldn't expect to find such quality, prices and attention to detail from a restaurant that's located right in the middle of one of the most touristic places on earth. And yet the Eatery (owned by the Bairaktaris group that runs 3 or 4 other restaurants nearby) surprised us on many levels. We had one the best pumpkin soups ever, their smashed burger was fabulous and the service was polite and genuinely friendly. Recommended if you don't mind a super-busy and overcrowded environment.

Chose to visit this restaurant because it had a 4.8 star average rating on Google. I understand why Food was amazing. Ribs soft and tender, falafel plate delicious and a good portion. Zucchini fries were out of this world don’t make the mistake of not ordering them!

Probably one of my favorite meals in Athens. The service was amazing, the food was delicious and you can’t beat the price. The location is also super nice with seats indoors and outdoors, highly recommend.

We were looking to eat some gyros/pita and found here the perfect place. We had a dinner for 2, starting with sweet potato with lime (absolutely delicious and a must), and humus. Then my husband ordered a kebab and I orderer a chicken pita. Everything was tasty. Also recommending the house lemonade with mint, very refreshing in these hot days! These guys are doing a great job!

Cheap! But don't let the price fool you, the food look like it came out of a fancy restaurant, and they are/do look fancy too! It taste as amazing as it looks as well! Alas, as your stomach is full, your wallet is also still healthy! :P

Delicious food, we ordered too much! The burger pitta was fantastic, the hummus and fries also. This place is a real find, and not expensive. We'll be back for that brunch menu.

We had a lovely brunch, everything is so fresh and well priced. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. We were sitting at a table outside on a nice square with trees, atmosphere is great. We recommend!

My favorite meal in Athens! I’ve been craving falafel and I’m soooo glad that I waited to try falafel at this restaurant instead of another. I ordered the veggie platter which came with so much food! Babaganoush, hummus, tahini, manouri, olives, peppers, lots of veg, & the best warm pita!! My friend ordered a hummus plate and the potatoes and everything was so amazing. We washed it all down with a shot of ouzo! The service was great and the food was amazing (& we really only ordered appetizers so imagine the mains) You NEED to eat here.

It is a very nice place to eat if you are looking for cheap and tasty food. They have a lot of variety in dishes, including traditional greek dishes but also other kinds. They also have vegetarian options for people that want them, and they even have a "Soup of the Day" that was very tasty (the day we went, the soup was a tomato soup similar to Gazpacho and Salmorejo). Overall the experience was good, the food was tasty and the bill was not expensive, and that is enough for me to recommend this place.

Amazing food! We had the cabbage salad which was out of his world. As well as the falafel, vegetarian variety, and zucchini fries. So much food, and everything was beyond delicious.

I found my little go to favourite "Eatery". I fell in love with this gorgeous little restaurant on the square for lunch Al fresco. The food is heavenly and its authenticly Greek and so flavoursome and delicious and healthy. The service was great, the owner was lovely and I would absolutely recommend this beautiful place to eat. Great, affordable food. The foccacia bread is delicious and we will definitely be back! Plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians too with seating inside and outside. Highly recommend for a lunch or breakfast spot in Athens.

Super friendly staff, good variety of tasty food, also has vegan options. The pita bread is soooo soft. Ugh so good. It's a cute place, bit tight but you'll like it. It's also warm inside now that it's cold

Very affordable and tasty food. I left my sunglasses at the restaurant but did not realize until the next day. I thought my chances of retrieving them were slim but I was pleasantly surprised that the staff had my sunglasses stored away safely and I was able to retrieve them. Amazing service!

Bairaktaris restaurants are considered as the traditional old style trust worthy kebab food places for the Athenians. When I saw this new place I thought “another kebab restaurant with modern style….” Well, it’s not! The catalogue is full of modern healthy choices, with some vegan or gluten free plates, without deviating from the local Greek cuisine. I ordered a 1/2 chicken and a salad with coleslaw, carrot and cheese. They tasted fresh and very well prepared, having a touch of local herbs (oregano, basil e.t.a). Impressed! Fast service and smiling personnel helped the expirience. Well done guys 🙏

Went here on our first night in Greece. Must say the chicken was so tasteful and succulent! the potatoes so crispy and tasty! Service was fast and great, really a must in Greece!

The food was amazing. We had the zucchini fries & the mix grill platter. Both amazing. Especially the skewers, ribs and grilled chicken wings. For drinks I had the spicy margarita and after the fresh mint hot tea coz I was so full. The salty peanut butter soft serve is a must for Reese’s lovers. My son loved it! The waitstaff are lovely. They even gave us complimentary sesame soft serve which my husband and I enjoyed. Definitely worth visiting for delicious Greek food at great prices. Great value for money. Nice outdoor seating but we preferred to sit inside to avoid smoke from other tables. Highly recommend!

Greek modern restaurant, with variety of typical dishes as Tzatziki, Fried pies, falafel, hummus and other traditional plates. The crew was really nice and friendly, helped us to choose and recommended some dishes. Food was good but not memorable, it’s a standard restaurant. It has great atmosphere and very nice people working there, but we missed the surprise factor, everything was extremely basic.

This is probably the best quality-to-value ratio restaurant I've ever been at. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Food was out of this world and incredibly well-priced. We had smoky eggplant, greek salad and a mix grill platter. We couldn't even start the salad as the grill platter was huge! It could be easily a dinner for two on its own. I'm sorry I didn't find this place earlier but I highly recommend it to anyone.

Worth to visit this place in Athens - one of the cheapest prices in restaurants we’ve been but with really high quality!!! The waiter was perfect - fast service, good communication and always smile. The meal was extremely delicious and the portion was huge. And these homemade fries … 🫠 I’m sure I’ll come back there 🫶

The atmosphere was great. We had chicken pita and beef pita with zucchini fries and they were delicious. The only thing is that we had to wait a little bit longer even though it shouldn’t take much time to make them.

If you want decent food at a decent price this is the right place that is tourist friendly in Athens. Vegetarian options available. Some delicious foods such as the eatery potatoes, pitas, and Zucchini fries! Lovely outdoor space that is shaded from the sun.

The food was so good: Really a highlight. I had the "chicken under a brick" and it was a huge portion in addition to being good - Very juicy. The charred lemon was lovely and the dipping sauce was great as well. The fresh cut fries were good as well, though the portion was (luckily) not that oversized. The service was prompt and friendly. Our waitress spoke excellent English and gave good recommendations.

Good location and dining area, with fans, music and crowded walking area (in a good way). Very good food and comes out quickly out of the kitchen at decent prices. Kebab and spareribs rack are recommended. Service was slow and waiters barely looked at tables (in their defense the place was full).

Landed this morning, first meal in Athens, and the bar is set very high. We tried the hummus plate, falafel plate and the Dionysus salad. All were delicious, varied, and above all very good value for money. For the three plates and two hot drinks, it cost under €25. To top it off, very friendly staff.

I really enjoyed eating at the Eatery for lunch, some great outdoor seating with a good atmosphere. We ordered the Greek salad and the meat platter for 2. Its al ot of food so we got two meals out of it with a takeaway box. The star on the plate for me were the ribs by far but I'm a bit biased. I would easily order a rack of ribs next time. The salad was excellent though. The tomatoes were really juicy and tasted great. Would definitely recommend this place!

Love their spare ribs very much! We went back again for the second time before our departure back to our country. The pumpkin soup is nice as well which pairs with the pita. The portion is big for Asian, these 2 dishes are enough for 2 of us

The best vegetarian food we had hands down!! If you are in-town and are searching for good vegetarian/vegan food, try roasted sweet potatoes with spicy aioli (the bomb I had to ask for the recipe), roasted eggplant with amazing tomato sauce and crunchy toppings, veggie platter and falafels, and the best zucchini fries. I have never had a tampoora as crispy as these beer battered zucchini fries. We came to this place 4 times to enjoy them with a cold glass of beer!! They treated us to their sesame halve flavored soft serve which was the bomb! I forgot to mention that the ambience was great too since the restaurant next door played amazing songs and we had the beautiful heaters next to us warming us in the cold nights!! Great staff, service and very warm hospitality! We were too hungry to take all pics but here are some!

As far as the food is concerned, compared to other restaurants in the area that I tried, I liked Eatery's food a lot. The pita bread they serve here is to die for. The prices at this restaurant are also fantastic. The staff is friendly and does a good job. So far in the past 3 days I've eaten here three times (just because I like the food and the prices). I'm probably going to try them out for breakfast tomorrow as well. My verdict: If you are in the area, definitely give Eatery a try!

What can I say, the best place for breakfast in Athens that I've tried. My personal favorite were potatoes. They tasted like the ones I used to wrap in foil and bake in an open fire on the summer nights. The pita bread was fluffy and warm. There was also pastirma (beef ham), hummus, halloumi, egg and a little salad, all equally delicious. A good way to get energy before visiting endless sights of Athens 💪🏻

The food here was the best we've had in Athens. We were impressed with the tasty dishes, the efficient service, the 60's and 70's music, and the reasonable prices. We're definitely going back for more.

So good we came back multiple times during our stay in Athens. The food is so fresh, flavoursome and affordable. Service was so friendly and we got chatting to the manager who gave us a little dessert on the house which was lovely. Probably one of the best places to eat in Athens imo - especially for vegans and vegetarians, there's plenty of options.

This was our favorite place to eat just off of Monastiraki square. Do your self a favor and stop by for lunch! I’m still thinking about the Zucchini strip fries and their fresh lemonade, they might bring me all the way back to Athens. Lovely setting on their outdoor patio seating. Really delicious food, we tried two salads, some different pitas that were very good, and also the fried zucchini. Lemonade and orange ice tea are nice. The staff was friendly, all of them speak English. The restaurant is pretty close to the parliament building, the neighborhood is nice to walk around in.

Came here numerous times on our trip to Athens, a hidden gem between the Psyri and Monastriaki districts. Fantastic authentic Greek cuisine and very reasonable prices. We unfortunately went too numerous tourist traps while in Athens, however this was a great find. A wide variety of food, good service in a great location. Can especially recommend the frozen cocktails to drink, the hummus starter is very tasty, with crunchy chickpeas on top, adding great texture. The kebab plate is a great dish too, with grilled tomato’s and heaps of fresh onion. They have seating on the street path, which is great to get a feel for the area, although for a more intimate dining experience they have private seating a little further back. Thoroughly recommend eating here when in Athens.

I highly recommend this restaurant for a quick bite or for a lounge dinner. The drinks and food is top tier, the best food I’ve had in Athens. The location was easy to find and looked exactly like the reviews online. The waitress and waiter were kind and patience. We had the pomegranate mimosas and the frose drinks. Both drinks were delicious and made with fresh fruit. We also ordered the Greek salad and the iceberg wedge, which were both aesthetically pleasing and crunchy. For our table, we ordered the variety platter and the mixed grill platter. The meat was top tier and grilled to perfection. The flavor was unbelievable. Afterwards, we were served a complimentary peanut butter soft serve with Reese’s mini balls and the it was amazing; rich in flavor and creamy.
