For all foreigners, please don't go to this local market. The market is full of thieves, pickpockets. The sellers are mostly psychopaths. They are very violent and verbally abusive. Sometimes they force you to buy things you're not interested in. If you walk away without buying, you're more likely to get scolded by those sellers. They could team up to beat you.

Orussey Market ... An authentic market frequented by locals ...it encompasses 3 floors ...you can find poultry, vegetables, house wares, textiles, jewellery, stationery. It was an eye-opener. Our tuk-tuk driver was kind to remind us of pickpocketing...so do be careful of your belongings. This is another market in Phnom Penh that tourists or expats ought to go alongside with Russian and Central markets.

I like the fact that the Orussey Market has a lot of cheap goods. May it come to everyday use such as clothing, utensils, food like vegetable and fruit, many to mention. However, the place is quite dirty and it seems like most of the vendor there doesn't care about their responsibility. And also to those people who are visiting the market that does not know to throw away their rubbish in the proper place.

Wide rang of products including hardware stores, plants-flower shops, beauty supplies, food supplies, clothing and home supplies. You literary can find everything in this market. They do wholesales price as well but you need to buy in bulk to get discounts. You need at least 2 hours to go around as this market is huge plus it’s very complicated of all the entries. You easily get lost in this market so you make sure you go with local friends for the frist time. Don’t forget to bargain for the cheapest price. They normally mark up very high prices.

Old Market from the early days. Its very big and easy to get lost. Sanitary is mot that good. Sells affordable things but quality is questionable. Market sellers are very warm and friendly.

Great Khmer Wholesale Market. Make sure you have your bargaining hats on. The sellers are quite ruthless from recent experience. Have found 2 out of the 20 sellers I spoke to be friendly and genuine. Cheapest out of all the markets. Also, bring a fan, it gets hot in there..stuff, and crowded.

Very local market , nothing out of the ordinary. Local products, wet markets that locals visit with basic household items for sale. Hot and if visiting for 1st time in the city, good to have an experience.

Huge local market with variety everything from fresh produce; dried seafood, clothes.... Recommend to go in early morning before getting hot.

This and the area just around the market would be a bit tough to navigate and not very interesting for tourists. It is a functional market for locals. Shop owners do not hassle you and the prices would be slightly lower than the Central or Russian markets. Worth noting that the selection of male clothes here is considerably more limited. Three floors, densely packed, no frills just a market as you would expect it to be - not an attraction but potentially interesting if you travel just to see what the people do everyday around the world.

Mostly local products and resellers selling in bulk ( like wholesale market ) There are many barbers, hairdressers , facial cleansing , Pedicure little stalls at one corner. Hawker food choice is limited ( which is what we were looking for ...haha.. ) Small and compact.

Been there for breakfast. There were so many choice of foods, however the volume is so big that we can not finished it. Here you can find lots of things to buy from like groceries, food, snacks, cloths, shoes, bags, accessories, AV, plateware and many more. It’s a popular place for local to shop.

This market is better than Russian Market. There are many daily items sold by locals here e.g. electrical items, kitchen items, food stuff, coffee, drinks, fruits, spices, fresh produce and wet kitchen items. There's also eateries inside the market. The path inside is like a maze but all shops are arranged neatly in rows. You can also find souvenirs, handbags, clothes and paintings. Trip here is recommended. Outside the market is bustling with activities and you will always find something to buy or eat.

Impressive agglomeration of goods and shops on this multi-store market building … so many types of goods - fish, meat, veggies, fruit, clothing and seamstresses, shoes and on and on… you have to experience the place and it’s immense size

You can get everything at Ou' Reusey market. But be sure that when you go with a car there are parking lot for yourself, otherwise you can't go into the market to buy what you need.

Outside the market they have a lot of shops that sell fabric and the prices are really good. You can find virtually anything you ever wanted at this market If you know how to look hard

there are some very nice ladies upstairs in a few fabric stalls, but overall this is one of my least favorite markets in phnom penh, because to me it is one of the filthiest inside. superbusy and the lanes inside seem much more narrow than in other parts of kampuchea, or then vendors just take up more space. like most places it is worth going to see it once to make your own opinion. i prefer going to vendors all around the nearby side streets here instead.

After going to central market this place is even more crazy. More of a local market with almost no tourists. A must experience in phnom phen.

In actually this is for locals and for the expats. Downstair is wholesale but you can buy one piece too. Upstairs are wearing etc. Good way of the mall is the price is standard. Same for Khmer and and same for foreigners. You can find everything inside. For the tourists it's still visitable place to explore Khmer Culture.

  • 5/5 Ming Ern T. 7 months ago on Google
The market is still the same... a warren of shops selling everything you need at relatively good prices. Got lots of nice Khmer traditional clothing made of cheap silk for myself (men) and my kids (a boy and a girl)... $20 for my shirts, $10 for my boy's shirts, and $16 for my girl's two piece dress... very nicely done but of course no lining on the inside... if you find it scratchy just wear some thin inner wear tights will do...

A nice place in town with fresh beer or craft beer, food good, outdoor seating so beautiful. Recommend for private events party.

As someone who had a brief stint living locally, and having a lot of family residing nearby, it's a daily trip to the market buying the freshest meat, fish and fruit/vegetables. There's arguably too many vendors and stalls that offer the same products so often you could haggle for prices depending on how much you actually purchase. As a tourist, there are plenty of opportunities to get a hold of souvenirs and trinkets to make your visit memorable, very affordable prices (if you speak to the right people). The only word of caution, be wary of the riders/drivers that offer transportation (ie. Tuktuk, bike carriage etc), know where you're going and how much it SHOULD cost you. It's the easiest way for them to extort money from you, even after agreeing on the fare prior to hopping on board.

Amazing place to get into the daily life of Cambodian people. That's the kind of market where you'll find everything, even some stuff you weren't looking for at the beginning. I just bought pepper and cinnamon but the price seemed pretty fair in my opinion. A place to visit if you like to feel the local atmosphere

Local market with plenty of vendors, but not so many food ones. Visited there at 6:30 but none food vendors were ready, and I had a not-so-good bowl of noodle there

A proper SE Asian market. Several stories packed to the brim. You can certainly find anything you want here, but it may take you a lifetime. We found some much needed reading glasses for $10. Probably could have gotten down to 7 but I really needed them & they were hard to find!

I've been SPS customer since it started many years ago. Owner is friendly and welcoming. I keep going back to SPS my phone accessories. It has screen protectors and cases for most not mainstream phones e.g. the Google phones, OnePlus, Huawei flagahip phones and many other brands.

I love this market, reminds me of the dirty wholesale markets in mainland China I use to go to. I know this won’t be for everyone, totally recommend to take a Tuk tuk 🛺 here as parking is impossible and when you do get a parking space good luck getting out 😂. Anyways if you want to bargain hunt for your starting business or want to negotiate for personal use then this is the place for you.

This local market located in the middle of the city where you can find everything. Mostly Khmer people come here. The place is so crowded and no parking lot.

  • 3/5 Phann P. 2 years ago on Google
It's a open market. You normally get a bargain down to half the price was set by the sellers. So don't hesitate to say your low bargain. It's the culture there.

The market has a lot of things to choose from. It can be hard to find something specific, and it's a little cramped. If you know a little Khmer it will help you to shop here, otherwise you probably need a picture of the item and google translate.
