Welcome to Bassac Lane (Street 308) an eclectic strip of 25 funky designer bars, restaurants, cafes and nightclubs located in the Tonle Bassac neighborhood of downtown Phnom Penh. From modest patio eateries to fancy top-shelf watering-holes, Tonle Bassac has it all - and something for every budget. The party vibe reminds me a little of Khao San Road in Bangkok, attracting a fun mix of locals and expats when the sun goes down. If you're looking for something to eat or feel like taking a walk on the wild side, the people are friendly and the variety of food and music is excellent. Disclaimer: I had planned to update this review last night but I was so buzzed when I got home I was unable to think straight. 🍸🍷 😂 Shout out to Malo and the bartender at Electric Kitchen! To quote Arnold Schwarzenegger, "I'll be back."

Party place until late night. Lot of options for alcohol and food. Went with a friend. A bit expensive though, we paid 4 usd for each local beer.

All businesses are closed, or doing takeaway only. Not until Covid19 is over and tourists return, will Bassac Lane, be like it's formal glory days.

Following a fair reply from the owners of this wonderful little 'gasse', to clarify - The bar owners provide a wonderful evening of entertainment, this is one of my most favourite places to visit in PP. However, when drinking in the bars of Bassac Lane and St308, you must be careful, as unfortunately, drink spiking occurs in bars within this 'catchment' area. Have fun and enjoy!

Bassac Lane is a vibrant and lively street nestled in the heart of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This narrow alleyway, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main roads, offers a unique and eclectic experience for locals and tourists alike. Lined with charming and colorful colonial-era shophouses, Bassac Lane is home to a variety of trendy bars, restaurants, and boutique shops. As the sun sets, Bassac Lane comes alive with the sound of live music and the aroma of delicious cuisines wafting through the air. The lane's intimate and cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a night out with friends or a romantic evening. Visitors can explore the various watering holes that dot the lane, from craft beer bars and cocktail lounges to speakeasies and wine cellars. With its vibrant energy, diverse offerings, and friendly ambiance, Bassac Lane has become a must-visit destination for those seeking a unique and memorable experience in Phnom Penh.

Really fun area that’s really changed a lot recently. Used to be a bit more eccentric and interesting, for me it’s become a bit too pricey and typical. Overall though, definitely something to check out if you’ve never been.

I love this valley vibe. It kinda similar to SR. Making me miss SR so much. The food and drink there are affordable but staff not that friendly.

A great escape from the busy area around the palace or Sasowath Way. Bassac Lane is just cool. Has a really nice vibe about it, well lit with great overhead decorations and really relaxed bars and restaurants. I feel there was pretty much anything for anyone there. A really nice place to visit at night

It is my first time there but I love it already. The mixture of bar and pub has created such another world to enjoy after the pressure from work. Meet with friendly people, cool architecture and test a variety drink as well the snack. I guarantee you will never find somewhere like this place.

Party area in Phnom Penh, similar to pub street in Siemreap. There is so many good restaurants and bars on this street. Very very busy on the weekends, mixed local and expats visit here. There a parking lot at the end of the road, they charge 0.5$ each bike. This street is busy until late.

Nice hangout Used to be much better and better crowd but still a nice place to go out with friends. Lot of small bars and restaurants. Mama wong would be the place to eat especially as they are open until 5am! Amazing dumplings, tasty and very large (for a small price) soups!

The place to go in Phnom Penh as of late 2022. Lots of cool boutique bars. Some larger places like Back Street Bar have DJs and occasional live music (Check Leng Pleng) for listing. Not rich with restaurants but Malis (high end Khmer), Elia (Greek), Abode (International) and Puccola Italia (pizza) all recommended, nothing wrong with what is offered elsewhere either.

Cool alley vibe with a large variety of bars. There are many places with different styles, cocktails and snacks. The atmosphere is very unique and the music in most of the bars is not too loud for chatting. Recommend to visit!

Really cool street with cute bars of different styles and specialities. Happy hour runs until 7 for half price drinks.

A good selection of bars and restaurants throughout at reasonable prices. Can get a little crowded at times. I would recommend going in a tuk tuk as parking has reduced recently
