The ropeway starts from the bus stand to McLeodGanj. Total time approx 9 mins. The scenery is worth the whole experience. The view is absolutely stunning and the carriages are kept clean and are maintained with proper ventilation slots. The prices of tickets are definitely a little bit on the higher side. But for experience it is definitely worth it. Must try it once !

We had best experience here. We took two way ride which costs 675 per person. We saw the best views from the cabin. Ideally two ways is best but if you are planning one way then go from bottom to top since you reach main market square from where you can shop or eat. This is worth the visit.

Its an amazing experience and one should enjoy the ride atleast once, when coming to Mclordganj. One can view the Kangra valley at one end and mesmerising views of the hills, Mclordganj city and some amazing properties . Also, Its a great service to decongest the traffic too. Park your vehicle at Dharamshala and take 2way ride to Mclordganj to avoid traffic blues, parking issues and verbal spats. Great service Flawless performance Friendly staff and proper updated infrastructure. Advice the management to add better facilities at Dharamshala side. Please also have some eating outlet at the Dharamshala end too.(if feasible)

Not the best value for money ride. The views are not the best in this ride. Recommend if you have never been on a cable car ride.

The ticket cost per person is Rs 450/- one way. The duration is about 10 minutes. It’s well maintained, a good ride both ways as you get town, mountain and valley views. There is usually a wait time but we were there around 4PM and it was empty. I would recommend doing this, it was quite fun and the views are worth it. It depends on what you’re comparing this with, if you’re here and looking for something low effort but fun I would suggest this.

We had booked both way ticket of Rs 675/-. Whereas price is bit of high but after our experience it is okay . Views from cabin was awesome. Mesmerising views of the hills, lush green valleys, stadium offers you from cabin. The cabins were safe and comfortable. If you want to avoid traffic from Mcleodgunj to lower Dharamsala you can choose ropeway. You will reach lower dharamsala within 10 minutes. One side ticket pricing of Rs 450/-.

This is very good work by Tata enterprises reduce the congestion to go dharamshala from mcleoad ganj. This very economical ride of 675 rupee per person one way .Very good security cleaniness and cafe ☕️ at entrance . But a bit far from other attractions so need to hire a taxi 🚖

This skyway is operated between Mcleodganj to Dharmshala and vice versa. Beautiful scenery is viewed downside. At Mcleodganj, it is very near to Dalai Lama temple. Operated by Tata, this ride is at reasonable rates. We got the return ride at 675 Rs.

The best activity to do in maclo if you are nature lover Around 10 min ride for one side to enjoy the forest and dhaludhar range Price wise somewhat high as 450/- for one side and 675/- for both way But must recommend to enjoy the city lights with the high point

Skyway experience was one of my best. The view from the sky way is like looking at Google maps. Also the cost for this experience is very reasonable and the cable cars are nice and tidy inside. Use cable cars instead of bus, will deliver you to top within 10 - 15 minutes without any hustle.

Good experience. Price for one way is 450 and two way is 675 per head. Ride time is appx 12min one way. Bottom end is Dharamshala town where you can do shopping and return by ropeway before 5:30pm. Approach road is narrow, avoid big vehicles.

It is a wonderful addition to the poor tourist infra structure of Himachal. It was always a tough job to reach Mcleodgunj from Dharamshala but now it is a matter of only 10 minutes. Great.

A must. It's a 12 min ride and I would suggest to board it from Dharamshala and go towards McLeod Ganj. It's a top class skyway and the views are amazing . Considering traffic at Macleod Ganj l, this is the fastest mode of transportation from Dharamshala. Ideal time is around sunset time.
