If you are visiting Maheshwar, then this is the best place to have authentic local food. Daal Baafles are the best. Everything was just perfect. Sneh Sharmaji, served our group of 40 with so much genuine love and affection. Everybody just loved it. Must visit place. Also everything is Saathvic, good for the min, body and soul 😊

I had read multiple positive reviews about this place so decided to head for dinner during my Solo Motorcycle ride to Maheshwar and had a good time. I decided to go for the Dal Bafle meal which meant I had to wait for an hour before it was served. It wadnt an issue as I had lots of time with me us this long wait meant I could interact with fellow travellers. And the Thali was definitely worth the wait. The Bafle were well cooked and the Thali was super nutritious and filling. The place is bustling with people and the entire restaurant team ensures quick service for everyone. At 150 INR for an unlimited meal, this is perfect value for money. 100% recommended for everyone visiting Maheshwar.

Divine taste! Simply awesome. Nothing can beat this place. The food, their hospitality is totally incomparable. The dining setup gives a truly Indian feeling while having the meal. Coming to the food, we had the dal bafla thali. Now this included unlimited amount of baflas drooling with pure ghee. Along with that, there was a heavenly dal, kadhi, aloo ki sabzi, chatni, ladoo and salad. All the items are fresh and cooked in pure ghee only. On top of that, all items are satvik without any onion or garlic. On top of such quality food, the hospitality of Pankaj bhaiya and Girish uncle was of next level. They will make you feel at home and force you to have a little more as our family members do. And the most important thing, this heavenly experience comes at a very reasonable cost of just Rs. 170 per thali, which is nothing when you consider the food and service quality. A must visit place if you are in Maheshwar!

Slightly pungent (Teekha) yet delicious food. We took the regular Thali. It is unlimited. We were given one dry vegetable (Bhindi/ okra), one vegetable with gravy (potato), one Dal, Kadhi, plain rice and Chapati. The flavours were simple, earthy yet bold. The service was friendly. The server asked us every now and then whether we wanted a refill. There are two seating options. You can either sit on a Dhurrie on the floor with your plate on a low stool. Otherwise, you can sit on chairs at a table. We sat at a table. It was comfortable. The place is fairly clean. There are wash basins to wash our hands before and after the meals. There's a toilet too. It's clean. It has water but no light. The only problem is the wait time. They have a "Pangat" (ΰ€ͺΰ€‚ΰ€—ΰ€€) system, meaning a batch of diners is served, all at once. The next batch is served, only after the last diner in the earlier batch has gotten up. We had a wait time of a little over half hour.

My mom needs no onion no garlic food and it was so tough while traveling but this place came as bliss. Our car dropped us near kalidas parking and we asked a local where can we get food without onion and garlic. They said Banke Bihari, we started walking and reached the place. At first glance, I thought it is some sort of temple but then we enter a big hall with lot of small seatings.. got a full thali in less than 200 rupees and best part was daal Bafla. Previous day, we were eating street food of Indore and this ghee dipped dish soothe our stomach instantly. Must try in Maheshwar, this is going to be one experience... Loved the hospitality of this place. They made us fill our water bottle, charge our phone and asked us if we want to rest for a while...

BEST PLACE TO EAT IN MAHESHWAR! They are very attentive refilling your plate without asking, the food is very flavourful and it’s very cheap (170INR) for Dahl Bafla/Thali (this is the only thing they serve). They have the option to eat on floor or at the table. Very clean place.

Food was not good at all here. we ordered bhindi masala which had only tons of garlic and masala, no flavor- not edible! Paneer butter masala had hardly any paneer and paneer also was very hard not fresh and dal fry did not have any salt and no taste. Restaurant staff is not bothered about customers. Service and food both were terrible.... please don’t waste your money by going here. Not recommended!

Chef doesn't know the basics of cooking. Paneer is hard as a rock. Dishes don't have any taste, salt or any flavour. Don't bother to go to hotel.. management is not bothered about the food or the service. Avoid this place

If you are in Maheshwar. This is a must. The place is basic and clean. You have floor and table sitting. The staff is super friendly. But what takes the cake is the food. Me and my wife over ate. Had Dal Bafla for the first time and I think it would be difficult to top that. The dal was on the sweeter side but went well with the chuttney. And last the churma laddo was next level. The special thali is Highly recommend.. enjoy

Thali is ok. But there is 3 negative things: 1. Aloo chole & lauki ki sabzi is too spicy. 2. After eating dinner thali there is tongue burn of my nephew who is 6 year old & my father who is 65 year old. My father asked for sugar the owner who is at the reception they told him there is no sugar. How one can be so cruel. 3. Unusual parking charges 50(for car). If someone is eating food in his bhojnalaya how can they charge for parking. Overall i think 4.6 rating they don't deserve. Owner should be polite to his customers.

I went to this bhojnalay after reading too much review but I was totally disappointed😞. According to price is economic but quality is not as good, usually they serve cold food. You have to sit on carpets and sitting area is not clean. I think no other good food option is available in this area and it's close to narmada ghar that's why people come here not because of this bhojnalay's good food.

A must visit place in Maheshwar! If you are searching for the true taste of MP, this is your spot for the soul filling food. The food is made in pure ghee and that makes it heavenly! Hospitality: 10/10 Food: 100/10 Ambience: Traditional indian bhojan baithak (10/10) Feel home with the ghee loaded yummiest food, and enjoy the historical city of Maheshwar!

Service is very fast, you no need to wait more for food. Crew is good. Only cash is the payment option. Interior is made up of waste materials which is eco-friendly. Being a vegetarian I loved the food taste.
