(Translated by Google) A very beautiful building and outwardly unusual, new and old style. The tanks are very impressive, especially the British one. The guns were also impressed. There is a beautiful square nearby, everything is clean. Everything is illuminated at night. The excursion shows a very large collection of historical finds. Tickets are not expensive. The guides are very friendly and dispose from the first acquaintance, they tell very interesting and informative stories. I definitely recommend to both Kharkiv citizens and guests of the city, these emotions are not forgotten !!!

(Translated by Google) Museum of History in Kharkiv region. Until some time he was in the monastery. The priests decided to take the room back. Why do priests still exist in Ukraine? Under the Soviet Union, it was clear that this was a hoax. And the world does not pay such attention to the church ...

Nice place. This year this place is wonderfully decorated. The historical museum of its territory and the Maidan Constitution are united by one Christmas composition. For the first time, the city authorities pleased those who chose.

Good museum in the city centre if you're interested in the history of Kharkiv and the region. You need to pay 'by the floor', but the ticket cost is cheap. Start at the top and make sure you keep your tickets with you as the attendant on each floor will want to see them. Few of the exhibits' descriptions are not translated into English. Nice area around, especially in evening time.

Great collection of artefacts of different epochs, from first settlements to the latest Maydan revolution history. Most part of exhibition has descriptions in English. Ticket price is really cheap but giving lower rating for inadequately high price of photo permit.

Museum is OK by local standards. But if you happen to need to use the bathroom, make sure you bring your own toilet paper because they don't provide it there. It's one of the indicators of the level of funding the museum gets...

Very interesting selection of exhibits.... 1 room floor was about Ukraine participating in WW2. The exhibits were translated to English and very interesting to me as I had just read a Historical Fiction book about Ukrainian Revolutionary groups. Next floor room was about 2014 Kharkiv Protests against the Government. No English translation but photos easy to put all together based on the dates mention in captions. Next floor room(s) 1 room about formation of city of Kharkov era 1816-1835 .. some English translation ...but was very interesting. Next room was primarily about history of Ukraine from Cossack era to modern time. Again some English translation. Overall was a Good Museum. It was worth the small entrance fee. A Note: photos are allowed for a fee for each room exhibit. The entrance ticket lady spoke No English and I did not see the small sign about photos.

This is a really good museum, giving a good insight into the development of Ukraine. It also covers ww2 in the city of Kharkov. But There's a lot of interesting text, only in Russian... As a tourist attraction, more should have been translated into english. I had my own translated, so for me it was a really good visit. Be aware of that you must pay for photographing.

Very good place to visit. The old part of the building had been encased in glass to help protect it. The inside exhibits are very good and tell you a lot about life in Ukraine many years ago

(Translated by Google) The museum works despite the quarantine. The expositions were updated. I especially recommend to see the exhibition of products of the Budyansk faience factory, which has now rested in Bose. Samples of products from the pre-revolutionary period, as well as from the Soviet and recent times, as well as exclusive collections of works by contemporary masters are presented. The exhibition is positioned as a temporary one, so hurry up to take a look before these items are moved to the storerooms.

(Translated by Google) We need to start with the fact that the building itself is very well made, modern, which is often a problem for Ukrainian museums. I liked the tour, I liked the tanks, which are in good condition. I recommend going👍) (Original) Average museum, worth seeing if you have some spare time as it's cheap. Very confusing system where you buy tickets for specific exhibitions only and even though the signs are in English, the lady selling tickets (short blond hair) was absolutely not keen on us only being able to speak English. She was very hostile and aggressive, especially where we didn't have any smaller notes to pay for the tickets. We literally just landed and went to the cash point especially to pay for the museum as it doesn't accept card. She shouted at us for giving her a big note (well, 200 so not exactly THAT big) and made a massive fuss about getting the change. Worst thing is she had enough money to give us the change in the first place so the whole thing was completely unnecessary and made us feel unwelcome. However, the lady in the cloakroom was super nice and recommend good things to do around Kharkov after the museum so that was nice! (If anyone is wondering, I speak polish so I can understand a little bit of what people are saying hence I understood some of what they were saying to us) Overall probably wouldn't recommend this museum.

Worth a visit, has refurbished World War 1 British Tank outside, one of only 5 in the World. World War 1 and 2 displays. Lots of Ukraine early life displays and costumes. I contributed a pair of World War 1 binoculars to the Museum and they will be pleased to receive any other items from the First or Second World Wars. If you need someone to speak English ask for Ekaterina, I am sure if you give advance notice by their official email address she will be pleaed to help. Good display about space industry as Kharkiv was a main scientific centre for spaceship programme.

(Translated by Google) I will clarify right away that I am not a big fan of museums, perhaps a person who is more interested will like the museum by 5 *. At the time of the visit (August 2020), the museum was not impressed. There were four expositions: WWII, Faience Factory, Restoration after WWII and one exposition where both horses and people were mixed - there were Scythian ceramics, and gold jewelry for horses, blankets, a spinning wheel, furniture of the 19th century, books, the Gospel, paintings, some items of clothing, carpets, etc. The museum conducts group tours or you can take an individual ticket with a guide (most likely this is more interesting). The facade of the museum looks very interesting - an old building under glass. So originally it was fenced off during the reconstruction.
