Has a wide variety of animals like bears,elephants,different birds,lions,tiger,penguins etc. There are many clean toilets. Also there are some snack shops. It is better to visit in summer,because in winter many animals are kept away from visitors. The place is well renovated and is very beautiful now..A must visit place in Kharkiv.

First time I was there back in 2008 didn't like it much then it was preety outdated, this year i went the first time after they upgraded the park. Compared to then and now there is a huge difference, its better now, modern and clean. Me and the kids loved it.

Great zoo in the centre of Kharkiv easy accessable by public transport. currently still being redeveloped and some animals currently not available. I visited during war times (nov 2023) and entry was currently free. ( I made online donation which covered the normal cost of 2 entries) Staff very helpful and some spoke English too which is a bonus for an Englishman

The place has so many animals. It felt great to see a majestic tiger roaming in a free environment and the other animals I saw included a girrafe, meercats, wolves, deer and rams. It is a must go-to place in Kharkiv.
