I met a Syrian employee who has been exploited by working with a training contract for many years. The Sudanese HR management is not giving him a permanent contract in order to use him as much as they can and to let him work on a low salary while he is not a trainee anymore. I cannot respect this workplace that pretends to offer luxurious services to tourists and takes a lot of money from them for these offered services and at the same time, it does not respect its own employees. Not recommended!

One of the best hotel in khartoum, clean, service and staff are very well organised. Food is testy lots of options have to eat. Big swimming pool and gym. Rooms are big and comfortable. Highly recommended to stay with family, friends, couples or solo. Hats of to the Hotel GM managing very nicely such a big 5 star hotels.

Comfortable, but very expensive. Hard to get enthused about, for the most part. Although I must say they have a very good breakfast buffet. Convenient location, if you have business in the central part of Khartoum. They also have a pool and gym.

The Hotel is popular among expats for weekend activities. The pool is nice and Gym is well equipped. Costs around 32USD for the external visitors. The buffet dinner is 40USD approx. recommend for daylong activities. One of the nicest places in Khartoum if you want to spend your time quietly. Things are pretty expensive, A orange juice cost around 10USD.

I'll save you the trouble - stay at Corinthia instead. This place is a shadow of the opinion it has of itself. Front Desk staff scolded me for asking a question twice (they later admitted they never answered the question the first time), and told me that an overwhelming smell of glue in my room was my problem to address. They will tell you that the in-room "refrigerator" *isn't meant to keep things cold* if you ask. Service overall is either poor or inconsistent - you have to wait for the right day of the week for a certain person to be on staff to get...an unburnt waffle at breakfast, or just plain scrambled eggs. The air conditioning is practically non-existent. As I said, just save yourself the grief and stay at Corinthia. It's a lot nicer.

The Buffet there is nice, quality ingredients and well prepared. The price is a bit spicy but worth it. Always go there when passing

I have been too this hotel many times and service is perfect however unfortunately the prices have increased si much ams there is absolutely nothing to justify those increases especially that the rate paid is already fixed in USD and honestly the hotel is not at all worth 300+USD rate with the quality provided. Unfortunately they know they are one of few good hotels in sudan and are abusing this by increasing their prices without any proper justification. Please reconsider your prices or trust me people are going to look elsewhere as sudan has other options

Best hotel in Sudan, I went to the spa once and it's absolutely magnificent!

I was received with a warm welcome. The staff is so friendly, charismatic and anticipating when it comes to customer needs. They also have a delicious hibiscus juice and the hotel is so close to a shopping mall. I wish I could have stayed longer. It was a lovely experience.

Wonderful stay and an excellent well-managed property! Khalid from concierge went above and beyond every time he was around me, as were Asaad, Moataz, Al-Nazeer, and Khalid from the restaurant, they were all superb and so on top of it! I’ve seen a lot of talented customer service/hospitality professionals, but these have to be my favorite so far, they really stood out. Ahmed from the front desk was also really helpful and explained everything so well, as were Hanady, Nadir, and Rabah. Thank you Al-Salam team for a tremendous 2-week stay!

Nice spot if you are looking for place to work. They also have nice buffet and decent gym. They over price of course but good location.

they force fed me snails for breakfast and they made me sleep in the shed, overall good experience i do reccomned

This place is highly recommended. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant is perfect. There is a café and gym in the hotel. There is a pool behind the hotel. If you are not a hotel guest, you can buy a day pass to use the pool area. A few metres from the hotel there is a shopping centre with several bistros. Above the hotel is the flight path. Nearby is the airport.

Very nice and good hotel, located close to airport while a bit far from down town where the business center, the rooms are very clean, large and equipped, wifi is quiet good, food in the main restaurant is always good and tasty, staff are quiet helpful.

Food, service, swimming pool, and garden all 5☆. Clean, modern. Self service dinner 50 usd, but excellent. There is a mall walking distance. Nothing else is around, but airport is close.

Al Salam is such a great hotel. The rooms are nice and spacious with a great spread of breakfast. The gym is well equipped and airy. It's very close to the airport and Afra Mall which is convenient.
