Beautiful park at the heart of Guwahati city right beside the Bramhaputra river. Very well maintained and clean. The running trail is wide enough for 2 people to run side by side. Best place for people to walk or run in the morning. People also do yoga here for which there are many benches and sitting sheds all throughout the part at regular intervals.. Best thing you can also watch many birds which come to the lake in the middle of the park and there are many old trees which provides shade and fresh oxygen.

And take some rest, gossips with each other..... A separate area for kids & childrens for playing is also present... Overall a quite, cool and calm place to just have a break specially in the evening...

Excellent park. Fee ₹10. Visited on 20 November 2021. At the entrance you can find 'I love Guwahati' board. Water body is good & clean. Flowering plant & big trees are all around the water body. Boating is stopped temporarily for covid19. Children's play area is small but good. War memorial is visible at the end, however you can't go as the walking path of park ends before that.

A clean space in Guwahati. A rather biggish water body surrounded by elite educational institutes. Green and pollution free. Perfect for some family time in the open space on weekends. Ideal for morning walks. There is a space for children to play as well. At the entrance there's space for limited parking. There's a war memorial adjoining the park. Closely placed to the Guwahati high court and Uzan bazar, there are good eateries and restaurants for refreshment. Usually take my kids on weekends and they love the place.

A fantastic location and must visit in Guwahati. This is one of the oldest pond contructed ever . It is now beautifully developed where people can stroll. Joggers can use it for morning walk. Though the boat riding was introduced years back but now not in operational due to Covid but expected to be started soon. It is a very deep pond and one should not try to swim.

Dighalipukhuri park is a rectangular man-made pond in Guwahati, about half a mile long. Dighalipukhuri is occupied altogether area of garden and pond between 17-18 bigha lands. It is very good place to visit for children's. It has boating facilities and it also has a war memorial.

A very nice, green calm and cool place at the centre of the busy city to hang out with your loved ones, family or friends. Kids can enjoy different rides at the playing area. Adults can sit or hang around and have a good time together. There is a very minimal entry fee to the park. Boat ride is also available inside and the charges are extra according to the type of the boat.

Beautiful park, the place is well maintained no spitting or garbage can be seen anywhere. The place is beautifully decorated with flowers and the lake looks stunning. The entry fee to the ticket is ₹10 and to ride the boat you'll have to pay ₹30 for half an hour. Besides that the park is normally filled with college students, travellers and kids. Would recommend visiting once.

Very beautiful place to have fresh air, view of the Dighali Pukhuri (Pond) and walk along the banks of the pukhuri, especially in the late afternoon. You can also do boating plus there is a restaurant to have quick bites, tea-coffee etc.

This place serves various historical importance for City people. The place is visited daily by many visitors. The entry price is just ₹10 for adult. The Boating Fare ₹30/person for 30min. The place serve as family point as well as friendship to cherish. With new ideas the front Gate has now many Food Vendors with famous being the Spiral Potato 🥔. The others vendor menu are way good too which you can have a evening relax in this point. The water is turning Green with algae cover over a healthy maintenance of water of the pond with frequent BOD check, Cleaning can help it save for years to come...

Very good place to spend some time. Children have very good time as lots of rides and games are there to play. The entry ticket is also very cheap. Rs 10 per person for adult and Rs5 for children. The people can also take an evening walk by the sides o f the pukhuri.

It's a beautiful park with its own lake. It was an interesting outing for us in the evening. I had a very beautiful and memorable paddle boat ride with my dad, mom and sister. The reflections of lights on the waters as you paddle through it is a sight to behold. Amazing experience to be honest. Adjacent to it is a military museum or park.

Nice place to relax in the centre of the city! A small portion of park has kids games too. Boating available and is a relaxing activity. There are 2 entrances. One has a restaurant just at the entrance. Entry is rs 10 per adult and rs5 for children. After dusk there are lot of mosquitoes. Recommended to do fogging.

For me, Digholi Pukhuri not just a lake, being a by birth Guwahatian, I have been seeing the every little changes of her since my childhood, some good and some bad phases as well ...the "Park" word comes bit later...had gone thru the swimming periods, first pedal boat rides, the walking strips, Ghy's first lake side restaurant, the bunk period addas with friends, every trips go around via Handique and many more memories all over, an entirely emotional nostalgic phase... nevertheless it looks better from all sides now, though something missing..can't express, what exactly not there, but one thing for sure that feelings are not same as before..

The park is good for boating facility and to relax and enjoy nature. Outside the park, various street food stalls are there which is the main attraction. This street is a heaven for food lovers. A must visit.❤❤

Nice lake in the heart of the busy city and well maintained. Boat rides are enjoyable. The gardens could do with better maintained plant beds and more foliage plants in the vacant ground under the mature tress around the perimeter of the lake. It's interesting to see and note the effort by Teri in purifying the lake waters that contains heavy algal growth. The stench of bird droppings may be removed by increasing the sweeping and sprinkle some disinfectant around the walking path.

It's beautiful, loved the boat ride . Even if you don't take the boat ride , there are serene spots with benches to just sit down and relax. I recommend take a boat man along , so that you can concentrate on all the beauty around. The peddle boats are fun too , gives you a great leg workout . An awesome experience. If you hungry outside the place is a chat person who make amazing potato chat. The pooch puri was disappointing. Avoid the Kulfi too. The momos are decent .

Best for couples.. You will get private space and a restaurant was there with some good food.. The taste is not that bad but not very good but yes you can adjust with a good evening there .. :) This can be your 1st choose, if you want to date.

Awesome place, especially a park to relax Yourself. Its Open 7 days in a week and has a beautiful Garden. Its really a Charming and Lovely place. Good place to hang on with your friends also. There are also a number of Street food vendors selling tasty foods. Kids are also allowed here,and they have kids playing zone here. Adults Are charged with Rupees 10 per head.
