It is beautiful National park. I recommend you to go in rainy season. You will see there very beautiful grass and trees. Deers live in this park in very large number but you can hardly find tigers.

One of the most beautiful wildlife sanctuary in India. One can find numerous animals in the reserve. Though I couldn't see the tiger but the experience of visiting the reserve was really amazing. A must go place for wildlife lovers.

Ranthambore national park is a good place for nature lovers. The best time to visit is in summer and spring. We enjoyed the forest safari alot, but we were unable spot a tiger during our visit, but the zones 2,3 and 4 are good locations to watch forest animals, birds and also sight tigers.

We visited the national park in the beginning of December. The trip made me realize two things in life. 1. Patience and 2. Luck We had booked one morning zone 3(6.30 am) and one evening zone 2(2.30 pm) safari. On the first safari we were able to spot a leopard. All congratulated us as leopard sightings are supposed to be rare. But we had come here for the tiger and nothing else would complete the trip. So themorning safari ended with no sighting and news that tiger had been sighted in zone 4 and 5 . With heavy heart we went back had a beeakfat and got rwady for the second safari. We saw great no to deer and antelopes mongoose crocodiles and birds but no sighting of tiger. The safari ended with no sighting again with news that tiger had been sighted in zone 4 again. We had to leave for Delhi in the morning but made a decision to take another safari next day morning zone 3. Next morning we went back with not much hope. After 2 -3 false alarms finally we saw a tiger in all its glory. It is worth all the trouble that one takes in a trip like this. Takeaway points 1. Not every safari trip will have a sighting 2. Zone 3 and 4 are the best zones to visit right now but these change with time so if possible ask a local guide before booking. 3. Direct booking of gypsy and cantor is possible through Rajasthan tourism site but agents are able to get arrangements done even if website shows full. 4. Not much difference between gypsy and Cantor except that gypsies are able to respond faster in the jungle.

D place to fill all the wild excitement. Watching a tiger bear eyes is so thrilling that at time you forget to breath. This place is so beautifully amazing that one definitely plans to revisit. But it is all about one’s destiny if he or she will get to see TIGER. We went twice and one once we got to see that near the river in the early morning ride, which starts at 6am.

Absolutely beautiful trip. We did a gypsy in the morning and a bus in the afternoon. The smaller Jeep gypsy is definitely the way to go. Was awesome. Our guides were fantastic. The forest is beautiful.

There are only a few properties in Ranthambhore which may give you the experience of staying in a jungle (or near it), these are: Castle Jhoomar Baori Khem Villas Oberoi Vanyavilas Sher Bagh Aman-i-Khas There budget varies over a very wide range for these properties, so you may choose according to the sort of experience you are looking for. There are of course plenty of other properties, however these may come closest to giving you a ‘jungle’ experience. we stayed at Regenta Vanyamahal Sawaimadhopur For Ranthambhore national park Best Plan is to do overnight Tour from Delhi by starting Morning 5 am On Day 1 Reaching 12 pm doing Afternoon Safari and staying overnight at Sawai madhopur and next Day 2 Doing Morning Safari and tour of Ranthambhore Fort and Ganesh Temple and return Jaipur. Additional Information: In ranthambhore national park Zone Matters the most then considering Transportation or Shared / Private modes Always do Zone Between 1 to 5 We did zone 3 (2 times ) and zone1

Ranthambhore National Park or Ranthambhore is a national park in northern India, initially covering 282 km² at the time it was formed. Ranthambhore was established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India and was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973. Ranthambhore became a national park on 1 November 1980. In 1984, the adjacent forests were declared the Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary and Keladevi Sanctuary. In 1992, the Tiger Reserve was expanded to include the adjoining Keladevi Sanctuary in the north and Sawai Mansingh sanctuary to the south along with other forests *. Today it covers an area of 1334 sq. km.Ranthambhore wildlife sanctuary is known for its Bengal tigers,[1] and is a popular place in India to see these animals in their natural jungle habitat. Tigers can be easily spotted even in the daytime. The best times for tiger sightings at Ranthambhore National Park are deemed to be in November and May. The park's deciduous forests are characteristic examples of the type of jungle found in Central India. Other fauna include the Indian leopard, nilgai, wild boar, sambar, striped hyena, sloth bear, southern plains gray langur, rhesus macaque, mugger crocodile and chital. The sanctuary is home to a wide variety of trees, plants, birds and reptiles, as well as one of the largest banyan trees in India.

Ranthambore National Park is a vast wildlife reserve near the town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, northern India. It is a former royal hunting ground and home to tigers, leopards and marsh crocodiles. Its landmarks include the imposing 10th-century Ranthambore Fort, on a hilltop, and the Ganesh Mandir temple. Also in the park, Padam Talao Lake is known for its abundance of water lilies. We did 3 game drives and were very lucky and saw tigers each time, as well as lots of other animals (sloth bear, antelope, crocodile, deer amongst many others) and also beautiful landscapes and sunset/sunrises. On one drive in particular we were lucky enough to see 2 tigers playing, walking along and crossing in front of our jeep, wonderful. we appreciate we were very lucky as the tigers do not always want to be seen!

Excellent park for spotting a tiger. The booking can be done online and the preferred zones are zone 1 to 5. Try for covering atleast 4 zones in 4 different safaris.

Visited in 2018 March and did 2 safaris. First safari was in Zone 3 in the evening and the next day morning visited zone 4. Both safaris were in a canter. We could spot Tiger Krishna in Zone 4, but Zone 3 is the most beautiful zone with 3-4 lakes and the majestic Ranthambore fort in the backdrop. Best part of Ranthambore is safari prices are very cheap compared to other parks

Tiger tiger or tigress .. The perfect national park to visit in safari . This place is like mind blowing full of relaxation. First you have to prepare .. In summer beware of sunlight ita too hot * Take a water bottle because there is nothing to eat..and drink *Plan before go. Clothes should be covered * Take a camera for beautiful nature * Go with family and see the poses of nature and the natural habitat. * Mainly morning safari is best. * It's your luck if you seen the tiger or tigress. I have seen the tigress. Other things are also beautiful like lakes ponds crocodile, birds ,deer, sambhar and fun.. Let's go and explore the nature...

It was a disappointing experience. ,3 safaris, 3 difficult zones - zone 1, zone 3 and zone 6, we spotted nothing more than spotted deer and sambar deer, some peacocks. There wasn't anything else of note, saw pugmarks but no sightings of tigers either. Guide Mustak Ahmed was the absolute worst, kept saying we're not seeing the tiger cuz we're thinking about the tiger lol, way to be a "guide". Terrible experience. Response to owner - changing a guide midway safari isn't possible firstly. Secondly, we had 2 other professional guides which I haven't written about, I've specifically taken this name due to his incompetence and rather lowly behaviour. Not only are your guides experts, but the guides with us through Gir, Kaziranga, Nagarhole etc have all been thorough experts and we've had sightings there. Nobody has ever said thinking of a tiger will lead to not seeing a tiger. Pathetic response. After paying for 3 safaris- gypsy as well as canter + release charges, you want to extort more money for guide change lol.

Beautiful and well maintained place. We visited zone 4 and the views from the cliff were amazing. You could look really far away and see a sprawling river beneath you. As far as tigers go, the guide said that they are nocturnal animal and roam and hunt around at night, so don't count upon seeing some tigers roaming around (we didn't get to see any either). We were, however, able to see a bunch of deers eg- Vada deer, spotted deers etc. The guide was really friendly and stopped the canter whenever we encountered an animal, so that all of us could click photographs. Overall, a fun experience.

A great national park. If you want to see Tiger you have to go here. Compared to all other parks, here you have the biggest chance to see Tiger. We did 2 safaris, one in sector 7 and one in sector 10 and both times we were lucky. You can not expect more than tigers, monkeys and antelopes in this park. Actually, you come here only because of the tiger.

Ranthambhore National Park is famous the world over for its population of diurnal tiger population which brings in droves of travellers and lovers of wild life every year. Apart from the tiger population, this national park is a must-visit spot for all nature lovers who would love to soak in the sights and sounds of a primal earth that has become practically extinct on most places on earth. Visitors to this national park can make the most of the wildlife safaris to have the time of their lives by watching the animals in their wild environment, including the tigers, from up close.

Won't spot a tiger every time, but the jungle is mesmerising. Get rid of those noisy, black smoke emitting monstrosities called Canters altogether, and make sure the Gypsies comply with pollution regulations before letting them into the forest. Some of those emitsmoke too.

Visited with the family in the mid of March 2022. We selected Zone 2, 3, 4 and 1. The forest is very beautiful I must say. In zone 2 we have seen lots of peacocks, sambar and chital deers, monkeys, Grey as well brown nongoose and Owl. But highlight was a mamma bear with baby. They say it's rare sighting and we were lucky to see in the very first safari of Ranthambore. Zone 1 had disappointment for us. But we already seen glimpse of the famous tigress Sultana the previous day. Zone 3 was all about amazing landscape, birds and crocodile. It's most beautiful Zone with ruins and 2 beautiful lakes with fort in the back ground. Zone 4 was our Zone finally. We got to see three sub adult cubs of Sakti and than too for 30 40 minutes. The deers and wildboars at Malik lake looks wonderful. Truely enjoyed the forest. Hope to visit soon.

The 1st we visited Ranthambore for a vacation and tiger Safari it was a tad mixed experience. We booked online safari from Delhi through an agent who committed he will give us between zone 1-6 but once the payment was done he gave us zone 8 nd then refused to change it. We went in zone 8 for the morning safari and it was totally barren no greenery nothing. No dense forest either. We could not spot any tiger. There is a hill top type view point where we clicked pictures and that was nice. Zone 7 nd 8 nd 9 have the least probablity of tiger spotting If u want more adventure take a gypsy rather than a canter. Gypsy takes 6 people and they give you a pick and drop from the hotel. Canter takes 20 people has more height. There are many agents sitting to book safari but not everyone is genuine. Make sure u get better zones like 1, 2, 3, 6 are considered good nd 3 the best buy then you need to book atleast 2-3 months in advance. Agent will charge you around rs 1700 for one person for safari and otherwise on the national park official site it’s 1240 around for a gypsy. Canter charges online are around 800 and agent charges around 1300.

Ranthambore National park is spread over an area of 392 sq km. along with its nearby sanctuaries like - the Mansingh Sanctuary and the Kaila Devi Sanctuary. The park is majorly famous for its tigers and is one of the best locations in India to see the majestic predators in its natural habitat. The tigers can be easily spotted even during the day time busy at their ordinary quest- hunting and taking proper care of their young ones. Ranthambore is also counted as the famous heritage site because of the pictorial ruins that dot the wildlife park. Certainly, a visit to Ranthambore National Park is a treat for every wildlife and nature lover. The time spend on watching tigers roaming around, verdant greenery, a gamut of other species of chirpy birds and animals is priceless and worth enough to be explored at least once in a life.

Weather is too hot that makes the trip exhausting. Paid for about 1,300 ruppes for entrance. A reminder when you opt to visit is prepare scarf, cap, shades and dont forget to put in sunscreen and sunblock. Its really too hot. We started at 3pm and ended at 6pm. It's a bin unfortunate that we couldn't see the tiger. We saw monkeys, deers, leopard and other wild animals though.

Beautiful natural park especially Zone 3. Remember to book in advance especially if you want a jeep. Driver and guides very helpful. Spotting tiger is by luck. Other animals like deers, crocodiles, wild boar, wild cat and plenty of birds. Hotel staff are very helpful and guide you regarding clothing, etc as it can be pretty cold especially in the morning. Safaris are in 2 shifts - morning 7am and afternoon 2.30 pm.

Ranthambore National Park is in Sawai Madhopur District of Rajasthan state.Located at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill range, this is one of the finest places to view animals, especially as they are used to being stared at here. The park covers an area of Approximately 400 sq Km and if combined it with the area of sawai man singh sanctuary area,it is around 500 Sq km. Ranthambore national park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1957 and in 1974 it gained the protection of "Project Tiger". It got it's status of a National Park in 1981. Ranthambore National Park is dotted with structures that remind you of bygone eras. There are many water bodies located all over the park, which provide perfect relief during the extremely hot summer months for the forest inhabitants. A huge fort, after which the park is named, towers over the park atop a hill. There are many ruins of bygone eras scattered all over the jungle, which give it a unique, wonderful and mixed flavour of nature, history and wildlife.Tigers at Ranthambore National park have been known to even hunt in full view of human visitors. These tigers are famous for being seen in the daytime too, due to their lack of fear of human presence in vehicles. This lack of fear of humans is excellent for tourists, as they get to see the tigers often. This National park is a wildlife enthusiast and photographer's dream. It offers excellent accommodation and internal transportation facilities. The park remains open every year from October to May.Famous for the exciting and frequent tiger sightings captured dramatically in several books, this park is today affected by ecological pressures and poaching.

The ranathambore tiger reserve is super amazing. Loads of animals like tigers, peacocks, deers , sambars, blue bulls and all. To organize a trip you can just tell your hotel manager about it. The trips are two types jeep and shared canter. We went in a shared canter and it was quite cool. I recommend going in morning slot instead of afternoon to increase your chances of spotting a tiger
