An outstanding experience at the London Edition. I’ve been a road warrior for many years and this will go down as one of the best properties I’ve stayed in. The staff were so genuine, warm and attentive. I appreciate how well staffed the bar was, how each staff member clearly enjoyed the art of hospitality and all the details really mattered to them. One shining star was our housekeeper Nicolette who was talented, charming and funny. Also- special shout-out to the best breakfast in London at the on-site restaurant. We enjoyed a few mornings there and the food was fantastic. Check in at the hotel started on the wrong foot with a major system failure when they lost our reservation. We landed at Heathrow, turned on my phone and saw an email from the staff saying that they would not honor our booking (which was made two months prior). This is not what one wants to see following a 10 hour red eye flight. I hope Annalisa is offered training to compose kinder emails going forward as this was a rookie mistake to be told that we would need to book elsewhere that would have cost the hotel many thousands of pounds in lost revenue. We decided to proceed to the property anyway to see if this was all a mistake. Upon arriving at the hotel the team scrambled to assist and got everything worked out after a couple of hours. I appreciate that the team was looking for solutions and all in all, the superior service each step of the way for the duration of the trip paired with the beautiful property and fantastic location all made up for that rough start.

Stayed here for 3 nights in June. Overally, our experience was...fine. Rooms were quite nice and spacious, especially for London, and the amenities in the bathroom were great. There were numerous service misses, from luggage, to check in, to housekeeping and turndown service. Nothing was really quite the level of seamless you expect of a hotel at this price point. And, more than that, it just didn't work. Just a lot of misses all around. To give you a taste: - staff offered to deal with bags...after we were already in the elevator after check in - front desk told us we got an upgrade (Marriott Ambassador member) and then gave us the base room (which is totally fine, but the expectations management is an issue) - housekeeping wasn’t there some of the days? - turn down service was offered proactively (awesome!) and then didn’t come during the window they confirmed (or even later in the evening when we were back…just not at all). Overall just a big expectations management problem. Value for money wasn't really there vs. other London hotels, as, though the rooms were nice, the rest was kind of a dud. Not that I expect any different treatment as a Marriott elite member, but I do have a larger sample of similar stays and this one really missed the mark.

Amazing hotel in the heart of the city. The service is impeccable. Best service I’ve had at a hotel in a while. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Rooms are very cozy and cocktails at the speakeasy are very interesting and delicious !! A London favourite for me!

Small rooms and they don’t care if you are Marriott ambassador. The room is too small with walls looks like sauna. Over rated hotel. Not staying here ever again. First I understand your hotel was full the first 2 days then your reception guy told me after 2 days he will give a nicer room but he didn’t. Second if you are really sorry you would reached me I’m still staying at your hotel until Saturday but I think you are too busy responding online . Last but not least I have eyed over 30 hotels in London including five in Marriott chain hotels go and check you have my record.

My new home in London, I’m from here, but live in NYC. Everything about the hotel is perfect, gorgeous decor and fantastic rooms - but (as many many people keep saying) it’s the people that elevate this into a true luxury experience. Can’t fault it. Fabulous. Looking forward to our next stay.

Without a doubt, my favorite hotel to stay at when visiting London. The staff are all super friendly and helpful and all amenities are extremely high quality and well maintained. Whenever we needed anything, the staff brought it to us promptly. Whether we needed more water bottles, toothpaste, extra blankets, pillow, etc., the hotel had us covered. Also, don’t worry if you forgot some toiletries of your own as each bathroom has hand soap, body lotion, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. Not to mention, all of the toiletries were Le Labo, a renowned brand all over the world. Definitely staying here again when I come back!

Last minute booking but first rate service by the Front. Shoutout to Kimberley who acknowledged my partner’s birthday and prepared a surprise for him. Rare gem especially in the current climate that goes above and beyond to delight guests! Great stay overall with well anointed amenities in the room!

Overall a very sleek and modern option for a stay in central London. It is in the middle of the action of Soho but remains a reprise from the activity of the neighborhood. The lobby and rooms are designed in a minimal yet elegant style with nice touches throughout. Staff at this property are exemplary. The front desk, bellhops, and doormen were all extremely friendly and helpful during our short stay. I would entirely choose this property for that reason alone. One area of concern had to be the unique plumbing situation found in some rooms. While mentioned at checkin, the toilet / shower utilize a vacuum drainage system similar to what you find on an airplane. This setup itself is quite loud and produces odd noises during use. The other negative is that you can hear its usage from other guest rooms which can be unpleasant during nighttime. Perhaps better soundproofing could serve as a fix.

Our stay was wonderful, and the staff members were very welcoming and helpful. The Berners Tavern, the breakfast was delicious and well-presented. The location is pretty convenient, close enough to many sightseeing pot, and public transportation. Overall, our stay is satisfied and enjoyed.

stayed here with my 14 year old twins. Breakfast at Berners is excellent every morning. Staff is very friendly and the concierge helped us with procuring tickets to various sites during our 5 days here (and emailed back and forth with me in advance of the trip which was extremely helpful). Location is great, easy access to so much with the tube and taxis. Beds are comfortable, room was good. My only complaint is that I wish the rooms had more light. We found it dim and hard to figure out what switch worked what light each time. But highly recommend the Edition for a visit to London.

I recently concluded a 6-night visit to the London Edition, a place I've frequented often, and it consistently meets my expectations. As a Marriott Ambassador, I reached out to the Ambassador service before arriving with a specific request, which was unfortunately miscommunicated to the hotel. However, upon arrival, Olga at the front desk was incredibly helpful and efficiently accommodated my needs. The check-in process was exceptionally smooth, and I was delighted to be upgraded to a king loft room, which offered ample space and featured a generously sized bathroom and shower. Given that this was a trip to London, I didn't plan to spend much time in my room. The staff at the lobby bar, as always, were outstanding, providing excellent service to both me and my colleagues throughout the week. Their skill in crafting amazing drinks complemented their top-notch service. Dining at Berners was a highlight, offering an exceptional culinary experience right within the hotel. The door staff were always eager to assist, enhancing the overall experience. I frequently used the app for requests like water and toiletries, and the response was always prompt and efficient. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next stay at the London Edition. My heartfelt thanks to everyone there for making my week truly remarkable.

Overdue review from previous stay. The location is great for sightseeing and proximity to restaurants and very walkable. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are clean and functional but small ( it's Europe so expected). Will definitely stay here again when back in London next year!

Ian Schrager & Edition have done it again. A great stay at London Edition, great rooms and great service. The entry lobby has a great vibe with an amazing historical design complemented by a bar and great restaurant. Very convenient location and easy access to the heart of London.

Can easily say it’s one of the best hotels in London to stay in. Rodrigo made our stay extra special, and all of the staff members went above and beyond. Nothing is too big or too small and they accommodate every request. I would never think of staying anywhere else when in London. Amazing hotels and the staff, once again, are the real difference. Thank you so much to the whole team.

One of the absolute best hotels and certainly the best in London. The hotel is modern, luxurious, and relaxing and calm at the same time. The staff is super attentive. Rooms are immaculate and extremely comfortable and well designed. Amazing all around.

I'm a few hours into a multi day stay at the hotel but already I feel compelled to write a review. A stay anywhere can be make or break depending on the service you get and here, it's been impeccable from the very start. From the doorman to everyone in the lobby, everything is done with a smile and attention which is so nice to see. The hotel itself is clean and classy, but it's made complete by the staff.

What a beautiful hotel, smells sublime with products from Le Labo. Very friendly staff and the room is very spacious and premium decorated, without being flashy. Location is super central, but not in the middle of hustle and bustle. I had only positive experiences of my entire stay. Would love to go back again in the near future! 😍 I must be so occupied with the great smell that I forgot to take any share-worthy pictures 🤦🏻‍♀️ Next time…

Service is one of a kind. It is truly unique when every single staff member we encountered - at least over a dozen over our stay had impeccable service with positive energy and kindness. We were truly positively taken aback because it speaks to how they recruit and retain excellent individuals as well as how they work as a team. We live in London and are looking forward to staying again. We have stayed at many nice hotels and this is bar none the best service we have ever gotten across any five star / high end hotel.

Modern, clean, and well-located. I adored the touches of wood everywhere. Definitely doesn’t feel over the top luxurious but a bit more quiet luxury, which was delightful. The dining room is stunning!! Rooms were well-appointed and spacious enough for the location. Walking distance to everything I needed, which was phenomenal. Would definitely return there without a question!

Extremely lovely finishings & lighting in the lobby and rooms, and also very friendly and responsive service. Great location, and they do a good job of keeping the surrounding streets quiet. The one downside is that the doors to each room themselves are very heavy and loud so you’ll hear doors slamming shut all throughout the morning.

Absolutely incredible stay! The hotel itself is quite nice, beautiful decor and scents, both the punch room and restaurant are worth it. What makes this incredible is the staff - they go above and beyond and make the experience worth raving about! Jeremy and Farida were so kind and thoughtful, they assisted us and made our trip more convenient- very thankful! We truly loved our stay and hope to be back soon.

The London edition is a beautiful hotel with a lovely interior. Housed in old Georgian townhouses you can clearly see all the Georgian details. The waiters are kind and welcoming. Nonetheless I do feel the hotel tends to present itself as opulent where in reality it has the same atmosphere as an Ivy restaurant (pretending to be something you are not). It is affordable place for most people similar to an Ivy restaurant. This results as well that the clientele is at times not so elegant. Service is good, I would recommend this place if you like elegant surrounding but more approachable and not overly ‘posh’.

I've stayed at a number of hotels in central London but this one is definitely my favourite. There are a few things that stand out for making my stay memorable: 1. Miguel ensured that I had everything that I needed in my room and he couldn't have been a better ambassador for Marriot 2. The bathtub in the room was amazing and exactly what we needed to help relax after a long journey. 3. I really liked the decour, especially the fire in the bar. Thank you for an excellent stay at your hotel, we'll be back.

Fantastic stay. The hotel room was immaculate and so clean. Great minimal decor and very modern. Staff went above and beyond. Special shout out to the bartenders in the lobby bar who made us feel so welcome and the cocktails were amazing. Will definitely stay here again.

Classy hotel, stopped into the bar. Friendly service with a great bar. Cocktails are good and the atmosphere is relaxed. Interesting pool table but haven't seen many use it! Worthwhile stopping in for a quick (but pricey) drink

I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel and their incredible staff. Each and every single member of the team was thoughtful, responsive, kind, and provided extraordinary customer service. Quite frankly, I think my husband and I both felt like celebrities--that was the level of care we received. Keep up the great work!

In the middle of a stay here but so far this property has been great. From the doormen to the check in desk and the staff who help bring things to your room (such as a tea kettle!), their service is just top tier. The bed as well is just super plush and comfortable, along with the sheets. Excited to spend another night here.

Classy, stylish decor. Impeccable service. Great location on a quiet street. The staff has been so attentive. I would expect nothing less from my favorite hotel chain. I’ve stayed at several other Edition locations and the standard of excellence throughout is always impressively consistent. As a bonus, the Thai chicken curry dish I had for room service was one of the best Asian meals I’ve had in London as well.

Five stars because of Nicole We stayed here for one night. Welcomed by Nicole, we experienced a fabulous service throughout. The bar experience was also great and all staff we were in touch with were polite and friendly. The check out was a little clumsy but nothing tragic. We would have loved if the restaurant was open for brunch. Having slept in as one might on a Saturday, with the 10AM closing time there is no time for breakfast.

The Edition team went out of their way to host a very special stay for my fathers birthday, going above and beyond to surprise and delight my parents. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms super comfortable and the team are excellent. Looking forward to the next time.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property itself is beautiful and we were impressed by the gorgeous lobby when we walked into the hotel. The design was very tasteful and a nice mixture of the classical nature of the building and sleek, modern touches. All staff members we interacted with were very friendly and courteous. We had a small issue with the speaker in our room and this was resolved within the hour. The location of the hotel is very good and within walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants and hotspots.

Stayed at the London Edition for a couple of nights. From the moment you walk into the hotel you will start feeling like home. Location is very convenient since you have Oxford st down the road. Bar and restaurants are within walking distance and if you want to take the tube you’ll be able to find the station right away. Once you walk-in, you’ll start smelling that iconic smell from the edition hotels. Maria which was from Spain (if I’m not wrong) checked us in when we arrived. Her customer service was excellent. Offered different type of drinks while we were waiting and finally walked us to our room and explained different services and amenities that the room/hotel has. The gym is decent and above average for what you can expect in a hotel in a big city like London. Water bottles, towels, yoga mat available and different machines too. Housekeeping team did a fantastic job in having our room tidy and in a quick way. You should definitely try the lobby bar were you’ll find an amazing and very professional team. Different drink recommendations and the fries were yum too. Finally, when we left, Amadeus the door keeper was very friendly and helpful in helping us putting the luggage into the car and making it very smooth. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting London. Stayed in different hotels in the city but this was the best hotel so far! Kudos to all the edition team.

Loved, loved, loved this hotel. My wife and I stayed here for five days and it was the perfect location to explore the major sights and enjoy the restaurants of London. So close to the museum and major shopping areas. The service was top notch. The front desk asked about the things we wish to do during our time here, and proactively helped set things up to ensure our stay was successful and productive. The shampoo, lotions, and bath robes were amazing. 😆 bought lotion for my home use to make me feel like I'm extending my stay in the Edition.

The hotel service is amazing! Everyone is very nice but the room itself was pretty bad. It is incredibly dark and the lighting inside the room is only dim.It is way too dark and was really hard to get dressed in the room. If you don’t mind a very small and dark space then you will be fine.

Was lucky enough to have an afternoon here last week for work. Really beautifully designed and decorated with a pool table and large seating areas in the main lobby. Staff all seemed really friendly and the afternoon cake/ tea selection was to die for. I’m definitely coming back here for a ‘non’ work evening out!

What a wonderful first trip to London! I will definitely be back to this hotel! From the moment that we arrived I was captivated by the ambience of this property. Berners Tavern off of the lobby is a must visit. The staff throughout the hotel were amazing, but especially those at the front desk. I can't say enough nice things about the people working in this hotel, they made me feel right at home and made each day spent here special.
