Amazing architecture and a heritage situated so close to City. Dedicated massive parking space is available which is a plus point. Some restoration work is going on but it would need some more attention from administration to keep the place maintained. Sadly we have our lovers who for unknown reason loves to carve their names in these walls wishing it would keep relationship long :(

This place should be part of your list of places of visit. I was definitely expecting it to be in better condition. Still there are few spots where construction work is going on. Fountains were not operational. This place is not wheel chair friendly which is a big minus. I couldn't see any public toilets near or within premises.

Marvellous piece of Architecture. In India there many places with great architecture. This monument is worth visiting. Early morning is best time to visit less crowded and peaceful. And its surrounding is very beautiful because many trees are there which is adds natures freshness. It is very amazing place in once your life please visit there.

Five star is just for the monument, which is just a marvellous piece of architecture. ASI has been trying its level best to protect and restore the monument. But it's the people visiting the place that are destroying it by scribbling on walls and damaging walls and doors. Need to do more to protect this historic piece of architecture.

This place has its history, but i don't think archeological survey of India paying attention to this historical site. Water for fountain is not clean. This is a very good place to visit but the government must take care of this site.

The best time to visit here is after sunset. Because after sunset Bibi ka Maqbara gives a marvelous view as you can see in the images. It was a good experience to visit a historical monument. In day time it looks beautiful but not as good as it looks at night. Entry closes ends at 9pm. Good big paid parking available nearby. Reasonable Entry Fees of Rs.25 and if you are carrying a digital camera then additional Rs.25 for the camera. Mobile shooting is allowed and it's free. Shooting is not allowed inside where the Tomb of Bibi is placed. Nice pleasant place but needs to be maintained regularly. Visit it but don't make it dirty by throwing waste here and there. Use dustbin placed there.

Bibi ka Maqbara is a really beautiful place to visit but not well maintained by the local governers. Its historical place and should keep nice clean and tidy. The structures and the paint of the walls are fading also it's getting black in colour.

This is a miniature Taj Mahal land is reasonably impressive. It is worth visiting however is a bit run down and needs some TLC. Clearly it must have been very impressive when built. It is close to the city and cost 300 rupees for entrance.

Must visit place if you are travelling to Aurangabad. Its in the town its self. Ticket charges are adding down (attaching pictures). It's similar like Taj Mahal but only base are made of white marble. Even the doors and windows are curved from marble. There is a pay and park space. Better visit evening before sunset. Then you can enjoy the lighted view of the tomb also you will take some pictures when sunlight is there.

Huge area is around where garden is there but it needs some maintenance. There are some guides available. Don't go for it. Those guys are bluff masters. When you enter the architecture you'll notice that have the building is made up of marble and half his medical plaster. Try to visit in the evening time. It's more beautiful with light effects.

The Bibi-Ka-Maqbara known as Mini Taj is a beautiful mausoleum constructed by Prince Azam Shah in memory of his mother during 1651 to 1661 A.D. Rabia-ul-Daurani alias Dilras Banu Begum, the wife of the Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb. This construction was in memory of Azam Shah's mother and considered a replica of Taj Mahal. It is just 10 kms from aurangabad station and is a nice place to tour within the city. Tickets ₹25 each. If you book online it would be a bit cheaper. It's open till 6 pm and under lights it looks even more beautiful. Best time to tour Aurangabad is from August- February.

A little hyped place i belive. Not even near to taj mahal. This you can make out from the shine. Surrounded by mountains its a good place. It is very peaceful if you go to the back side as its very less crowded and you are in the middle of men made architecture in one side and beautiful mountain hills in other side with greeneries around. Taj mahal is 100% marbel and this is only 20%. This was built by grand son of Sharjahan(who built Taj Mahal) for his mother. Bibi in urdu means mother. Taj mahal has front design, meaning it has a big front and less back, as path leading to taj is made beautiful and nothing of importance at the back. Where as Bibi Ka maqbara is with Central design. Same space and architecture at the back. On the back there is diwan ae aam, in left there is an original masjid and gardens around. Would recommend to spend some time in the back also for peaceful sight. No need to take guide, they'll just explain you at one location and won't Rome around with you, so better do a bit of homework and go. Or i have covered important things here too. Happy visit!!!!

It was better than what my expectation was. Nicely built, however much can be done to enhance the beauty of this place. Some parts of this monument we under repairs. One can spend good time here at the look alike of Taj Mahal. There are no eateries within the premises, so please carry your own but Don't litter the place. Place is great for photography. Very quiet surrounding.

Historical place. Built 250 years ago by Aurangzeb as a memory of his mother. It resembles the Thaj Mahal. It is built with red sand stone all around and main masque and the building was covered with white marble. It took almost 10 years to build this tomb. There are 4 minars in four corners. It is good to see both day light and in the night lighting. You will get two different feels. However, it only resembles Taj Mahal and is not even having 25% of the beauty of Taj. Paid parking is available nearby. Entry ticket is 25/- per person and children below 15 years, free entry.

Visit early morning or evening. Not during the noon as it gets very hot that we can't explore this place. There is nothing much but the tomb. It is in very large area. Huge place to walk. One drawback no place to sit and take a bit of shade for older people. It would have been great. Not greatly maintained like a UNESCO place. Still a good place to visit in Aurangabad.

Almost didnt go here.... people were commenting that it is no patch on the Taj. Well the Taj Mahal is the Taj Mahal, but its in Agra! This one here in Aurangabad is well worth the visit. The same layout, the same type of monument, just smaller in scale. But equally nice. A sound and light show at night would have been just right, not happening though. Hope ASI will do something about this. It is advisable to check the weekly closing days and visiting timings of all the monuments in Aurangabad beforehand from the relevant websites. A smaller & less expensive version of the taj mahal, but impressive If you do not compare it the taj of agra , you will be really impressed with this place. its set in wide spread gardens , so looks majestic. lots of plaques around it which give you information about it , not really necessary to hire a guide which we did . he did not have any additional info. best time would be in the evening when it is cool, can spend about an hour here

It is a famous 17th century Mughal-era monument in the city of Aurangabad, Maharashtra. It was commissioned by Emperor Aurangzeb in 1660 in the memory of his wife Dilras Banu Begum. The structure is known as the ‘Taj of the Deccan’ because of its striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal. The domes, minarets and the marble screens inside are built in marble.

Replica of Taj Mahal but not as beautiful as the actual Taj Mahal. The paint on the pillars are getting peeled off. The water fountain is not functioning. Gardens could have been maintained better. Entry ticket cost is Rs. 25/- per person (Indian).

Beautiful place to hangout with friends and family. It will take 1 hour to roam all around maqbara. You have to purchase tickets before entering it. Fountains are there but without water. Looks beautiful at night but you can't roam at night because of darkness. Foods not allowed inside maqbara. There are lots of food stalls available outside. Two wheeler and four wheeler parking facility available... Autos also available...

It's quite soiled due to pollution. Black patches on white structure don't look good. Diwan e khas, museum closed for visitors. Water fountains not working. Would recommend an evening visit 5-6pm so lighting can be seen, which is a sight to behold.

It Deserves its title as 'Taj of deccan'. This place is picturesque! There is a backside garden, with densely planted trees, which makes it more comfortable for relaxing and to hang-out. Entry tickets-25 Rs in cash / 20 Rs via Credit/Debit card. You can get a direct rickshaw from Railway station/ST stand, but do haggle a bit over the price.

It's called Bibi Ka Maqbara. It was commissioned in 1660 by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb's son prince Azim Shah in the memory of his loving mother Dilras Banu Begum. It's like an imitation model original Taj Mahal of Agra.

It's a historical place. But not maintained properly. Property is in damaged state. Night view is more beautiful. Guide charged RS. 200 for just 5 min of information and that too already written there. Place has a significant role in history but extra care should be taken to maintain it.

A place not to be missed in Aurangabad . A mini , Taj Mahal lookalike , also called Dakkhani Taj, built for Dilras Banu Begum , wife of Aurangazeb in 1660 . It was repaired and renovated by her son Azam Shah . Though it looks white all over , only the cupola is clad with Marble . The rest of the building is plastered with the special medieval plaster that used sea shells among other things to give the smooth , shiny finish and covered with stucco decorations . The entrance pavilion has many bright floral designs and the garden is in charbagh form .

Year 1660, Aurangzeb commissioned a mausoleum at Aurangabad to act as Dilras' Begum final resting place, known as Bibi Ka Maqbara ("Tomb of the Lady"). In the following years, her tomb was repaired by her son Azam Shah under Aurangzeb's orders. Bibi Ka Maqbara was the largest structure that Aurangzeb built and resemblance to the Taj Mahal, the mausoleum is known as Taj of deccan and was frugally built below 7 lacs rupees....Must visit place ...under repair and once done the whole monument will come alive with its beautiful landscape and gardens...Sojurners recommend !!!

The Bibi Ka Maqbara is a tomb located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. It was commissioned in 1660 by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in the memory of his wife Dilras Banu Begum. It bears a striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal. I saw COVID protocols being followed. People were required to show the fully vaccinated certificate or take a RTPCR test near the entrance. There is an entrance fee of Rs 25 for Indian Nationals. Parking place is available. It's okay to visit the place once, but is nothing compared to the Taj Mahal.

Quite fantastic place ..clean and a good environment . Building is a historical iconic bit government didnt provided good maintenance and facilities services . Only focus on collecting ticket money of 25rupees each and apart from that nothing more. May our government understand the importance of these historical places and maintain the same good way like England and european countries does.
