A simple, clean, and inviting place to stay. Comfortable beds, loads of hot water, birds chirping, monkeys swinging. The grounds are well maintained. The vibe is tranquil. It is all that you need to have a pleasant stay. The staff is helpful, the owners are hopeful, the guests are happy. Check it out, xx

Best thing is every cottage has its separate swing. Good place for family/friends reunion. Good for kids as well. No indoor games/entertainment. Rooms are expensive and yet Breakfast is not included in the package. Breakfast prices are hyped. Rooms and beds are bit small. bathrooms not upto the mark.

Need water, Need water Decent locality, Decent food but lacks service. Fyi no room service. Decent place, but all the chairs and tables are so dirty, you cannot sit. You request for water, no you won't get in your room even after asking for 10 times. Waiter have better sense of hospitality than people sitting on reception.

The Ellora Heritage Resort is the best accommodation in its area, due to its beautiful, peaceful, and most importantly, close location to the Ellora Caves. The cottage we stayed in was cozy and neat, although the bathtub and the AC in our cottage were slightly broken. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We are especially satisfied with the way our transportation by car from the Aurangabad train station to the resort, as well as from the resort to the Ajanta Caves, were handled by the resort. There are some things that could be improved. For example, while we had booked a two-person cottage with one extra bed for a third person, the extra bed was not yet made when we arrived. There were also no extra towels for a third person. In addition, when we checked into the resort, we were not informed about the WIFI or about the fact that in order to watch TV, we had to pay extra. While we completely understand that an extra charge is needed in order to access more exclusive TV channels, it was odd that we could not watch any TV channel at all without having to pay. Finally, we were a little surprised to see that during dinner, the mineral water that we thought was complimentary was added to our bill. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and wished we could have stayed longer. If we return to Ellora, we will definitely stay at this resort again!

Great place to relax on your visit to Grishneswar and Ellora and at a walkable distance from both the place. Hospitality is their first name and each person make sure you are comfortable. They don't care about charging you extra or getting good reviews. They are just doing their thing. They have both, cottages and rooms. We stayed in the room on 2nd floor and Ghrishneswar was visible from the corridor their. They can arrange camp fire and have garden seating too for their restaurant. Had a great family stay here. You can also check out the saree store here for Himroo work saree. Value for money and great hospitality.

First Thing - Just Wow. Stayed in a Cottage with Family. A soft and lovely fragrance is welcomed after entering the Cottage. Staff members were polite and very helpful. The resort is being properly maintained by the Owner, even children can also enjoy in the lawn The Manager Mr. Javed is a very nice, cooperative and humble person. I Must recommend this place while visiting, Shri Ghrishneshwar Jyotirlinga,Aurangabad. Overall deserved for 5 Star Rating. Location - 5 Star Rooms - 5 Star Cleanliness -5 Star Food - 5 Star Staff - 5 Star

My friend and I stayed at the Ellora Heritage Resort due to its proximity to the Ellora caves. Upon checking in, we were greeted by very friendly staff who helped us plan out our journey. We had three full days to explore, and the manager of the hotel was able to set us up with guides for each day. The guides went above and beyond by taking us to the cave systems, helping us with lunch, taking our pictures, and were very knowledgable about the caves and their history. 5 stars for the guide service! We stayed in a bungalow/cabin which is nestled into a beautiful circle of other cabins. The property is very well maintained and very relaxing. There is a grassy circle where kids can play on equipment, or adults can do yoga. I felt we had ample privacy. A downside is that there was a temple close by that plays very loud music and service all times of the day and night, but this was not to the fault of the hotel and I am sure other hotels near by would have the same issue. Our bathroom toilet was not working so well, it was leaking, we are from another country and could not figure it out, so the manager upgraded our bungalow to the "honeymoon" larger bungalow. The food that is served at the buffet was not the best, but they always had it out on time, and there was room service available, which is what we ordered mostly. All the staff at this hotel are incredibly kind and If I am in India again, I would come back to stay because of them!

I had a very pleasant experience staying in this property. I must say if you are planning for Grishneshwar or ellora please consider stay here. Tariffs are very nominal compared to the charges on other pilgrimage site or heritage sites. The best part is the view from the place, you can see caves partially and others side full greenery. We are 4 adults and 1 kids we got a 4 beded ac room with breakfast in Rs5100. I am super happy and would recommend this place to people planning for ellora. Happy Stay here🙂

It's really good hotel - the cottage is clean and fresh, location is very good - close to the Caves and also very quite place (during the night we had only voices of crickets but not the noice of cars). We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast at the restaurant of the hotel. Our manager Salmon was very supportive to us during our stay

The property is very near the Grishneshwar temple as well as the ellora caves. The cottages are good, place is big and clean. However what kills it is the pathetic service and lousy staff attitude. You have to remind multiple times to provide even water in the rooms. Room maintenance is not proper. The food is pretty average at the restaurant, better to choose from multiple option outside.

Stayed here for one night. Place is very close to the Ellora caves and Ghrishneshwar temple. Makes sense to stay here. Staff was responsive to requests and checkin was quick. Minor inconvenience of AC dripping a bit of water in the room and phone line not working. But bed was comfortable and that’s all we needed after a day of travel! Did not try their food. But the coffee we ordered was good.

Good part: - Located very close to the Ellora caves and Ghrineshwar temple. - go for cottage, it was around 3000 which is slightly on higher side but there are very few comparable option if you want it near the Ellora caves. Now the bad part: - service is very poor, had to call them multiple times to get something and it takes lot of time. - the sink was leaking water, probably not maintained. - they focus on giving the property for wedding, so the garden and open area is not designed for leisure. - no swimming pool - Bed is small Didn't tried food here but there are a few options outside if you want to try outside.

The resort is beautifully maintained. We stayed in AC rooms which were neat and clean. The staff was also very courteous. It is very close to Thrimkeshwar temple. It's the best option to stay if anyone is visiting the temple.

Good things: Good location, very humble staff, good food, good ambiance Bad things: water speed is less, 3 lizards inside the cottage (I can understand water supply is less due to hot region with less water supply in area but this is not something for which I will reject the hotel. This is best hotel in its location) As this is a resort, lizards can be expected. One lizard was in washroom near window, other was behind curtain and other was behind AC.

Staff is EXTREMELY RUDE. They behave as if they are doing us a favour by letting us come there. Very high price. Cottage rooms are small compared to their high prices. Ambiance is good. Proximity to Ellora is good.

Not even 1 star. Pathetic lodge as it cannot be called a resort! You don't get even the basic toiletries here. Dirty, cheap curtains, rugs, smelly bedsheets, broken AC, pathetic washroom, untrained and unprofessional staff, extra water bottle is for ₹500!... Two tombs🕌 on the main gate are a hint who owns and runs the property.

We really enjoyed our stay at the resort. The highlights were the friendly staff and the view of the caves. The foods were prepared as per our requirements. The resort owner introduced us to Waseem Bhai, who arranged our trips perfectly. It would have been complete, if the resort could arrange bathroom slippers for future visit.

Food is good. In-Room service only for lunch & dinner. The ambiance and open space is good. The room (102) is clean and neat. Some electricals like switches and lights need repair and bathroom knobs are hard to use for elder's.

  • 3/5 Aman G. 1 year ago on Google
Rooms are good. Location is amazing. But service is quite slow. You'd have to call them 5 times for things as basic as a water bottle. Maybe staff is overwhelmed with work. They anyway look a little understaffed. If they improve their service, they definitely are the best option in this area. One last thing: they don't have 24x7 power backup. Electricity comes and goes.

Toilets are without exhust fan thus stinking and the smell come to bed room. That apart no bed tea. You have to wait up to 8 am for bed tea. Breakfast also limited choice up to 2 varieties. Quality and test of food is not worth of the money spent.

If you are came for ghrishneshwar temple and ellora caves This is the most perfect location. It is just 5 minutes walk from hotel. I booked over phone, they provided me family room no. 6. Room was quite spacious with ac, tv, 3 comfortable beds, geyser, kettle , tea and coffee and a cupboard, but there was no fridge in the room. Room service was good. Staff was polite and helpful too. He guide me to how to go to ajanta, ellora and aurangabad. Provide necessary items on time. Enough parking space was available. Breakfast was buffet type with idli, vada, banana, bread ,tea and coffee only. Food is wonderful as compared to outside nearby options. I gave 4 star just beacuse of a pungent smell from room that i as well my mom did not like, it caused me a overnight headache till i acclimatized to it. And no fridge in room.

Ellora Heritage is a nice and widespread property located close World Heritage Site Ellora Caves. They have family rooms as well as cottages. The location of this resort is very peaceful. The staff however here is not trained and proper management is missing. There are significant delays when the food is ordered which needs to be rectified. The manager at the Reception is also not polite with the guests when i visited. However due to its location it's one of the recommended properties near Grishneshwar/ Ellora.

Visited this place on new year view and it was a great experience to start the new year. We booked a family room which was big enough to accommodate 4 people with all facilities and clean washrooms. Property is huge with great Mountain View. Resort staff is courteous and well mannered.Special thanks to Salman the reception manager and Mohit for taking care of us.

Location: Just few minutes away from Ghrushneshwar Temple and Ellora cave. Not on main road, but can easily locate. Parking : Parking is available outside resort gate. Ambience : Simply grate Rooms : Rooms are spacious, neet and clean. Hot cattle was provided but No tea & coffee sachets available. Washrooms are not clean. Elevator : available Restaurant : available on ground floor with reception counter. Open air setting is also available. Food : Food was good Service : Service was bit slow. Staff were very friendly and cooperative. Garden, open air gym, swings are available. Overall, nice option to stay near ellora caves (with few minus)

We had an opportunity to stay in Ellora for a night and we decided to choose this resort and definitely not a resort i would suggest as a first choice. Even if you get a place bit far from shree grushneshwar temple go for it. The resort looks good at first, we stayed in a cottage and it seemed to be a bad decision. For the cost the hotel charges, the room was very basic (for a cottage) Washroom could have been better Toiletaries were not kept, two small soaps were there which didnt even create any lather Bed seem ok as i like stiff mattress The pullovers were not good Tea and coffee seem bit old Tv didnt have channels Food taste was ok, Breakfast was one of the worst i have seen till date, for 4000 a night, breakfast spread could have been better Idli Medu vada Bread butter Tea or coffee Parking is outside the resort I wont recommend the resort

The religious trip took us to the resort. It's walking distance from the Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga. The resort is good with big lawns and good rooms. Greenery and location is good.

Stayed for one night with my family. We visited the nearby Grushneshwar temple as well as the Kailash temple. The hotel staff were courteous and their service is good. The hotel room where we stayed in pretty basic. As we have stayed for only one night we didn't explore any activities at the resorts, if they are any. The morning complementary breakfast is pretty basic but just enough for us. Nextime, we will try to reserve a cabin there. They look good. (at least in their photos)

Spacious & beautiful property. Very near to temple & ellora caves. The only good option to stay in this area. Being old property, don't expect too much from rooms & bathrooms. Electricity stopped working in our room & after multiple complaints, staff provided us the new room. One staff member was extremely caring, other guy was way too careless in fixing room issues. TV never worked in both rooms. Breakfast - Only idli, vada, banana, tea, coffee, bread, butter, jam. That's all. Don't expect too many options. Tea cups were very old & damaged. Dinner - you can order & customize the food as per your taste. Kitchen staff listens to your requirement & try their best to prepare as ordered. Approach road is very bad, dont even think to walk during rainy season. They need to invest little bit here. If they can improve rooms' quality, breakfast options and approach road then the price is ok.

  • 2/5 Anju G. 10 months ago on Google
We reached late without booking and they were very polite to accommodate us. The property is huge and beautiful. We paid about 5000 for the room but were very disappointed with the cleanliness, service and hospitality here. The washroom was dirty and wash basin outside the bathroom was leaking and hence the floor out there was all wet and dirty. The flush was not working. The executives behave as if they are damn busy and we even carried out luggage to the room. Food orders placed took too long and taste wise also it was too average. Whenever we complained, the manager made sure to remind us that we checked in late and hence the delay. But we saw everyone sitting in the food area going and shouting at them for the delay. The complimentary breakfast spread was average with very few options. The place has less decent options to stay and hence people are coming here.

Location of this hotel is amazing. Walking distance to Ghrineshwar temple. Rooms were shabby. Can be cleaned better. Also recommend getting the road paved leading up to the hotel. Not a good experience when you have to drive on a gravel road for 100-200m before the hotel arrives.

Nice place with good facilities. Garden with swings and a few exercise machines. Dining area, gym, open garden with stage and chairs arrangement. Needed a little servicing of things like cleaning of gym, periodic cleaning of rooms, gym equipments repairs. Rest is fine. They don't have 1 Wi-Fi though.

My family and I recently spent a night at the Ellora Heritage Resort, and our experience was quite enjoyable. The resort's warm hospitality and serene surroundings made our short stay memorable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the nearby Ellora Caves. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring our needs were met with a genuine smile. The on-site amenities, including a pool and a restaurant serving delicious local cuisine, added to the overall positive experience. We particularly appreciated the resort's peaceful ambiance, allowing us to unwind and relax. While the stay was relatively short, it left a positive impression on us. The Ellora Heritage Resort is a solid choice for those looking for a comfortable and welcoming accommodation option near the historic Ellora Caves.
