The location is good and great views but the service is the worst. 1. No one came to pick our luggage. The entire staff was staring at us while we took out our bags to enter the hotel. 2. The quality of products in bathroom is below standard. They don't even have hand shower. 1Rs sachet of clinic plus shampoo are kept in the bathrooms. When we pay 4500Rs for a day, at least the stuff should be of good quality but that was not the case. 3. Bugs and insects are all over the place. There's no measure to keep them in check. 4. Hospitality and service is also not good. 5. The tata sky subscription had expired and we couldn't even watch TV for a while. This stay is definitely not worth the money they take.

We opted this hotel as it was near to the places to be visited i.e Grishneshwar temple and Ellora caves. Therefore the location was good. But in terms of hygiene and bathroom services it was the worst case scenario. For those who use water gun, it is not at all there in the bathroom. There is no tap for bathing yet they had given us a bucket and they had asked us to bath in shower. This was not at all approvable compared to the price given for the stay (for non ac room). The food was very good but the prices were too high which had to paid including the stay amount. There were too many insects at night. Atleast they could have shown some responsibility towards the overall hygienic.

It is exactly walking distance both from ellora caves and Grishneshwar temple. Good parking, spacious rooms and beautiful scenic view from their garden

The stay experience was quite good. Very near the Ellora Caves and 12th Jyotirlinga temple. Why only 1 🌟 because the attitude of the lady who was doing the final billing was the worst. She don't have sense on how to deal with customers. Very bad attitude and I would say my whole stay was good but that last thing / argument with the lady on the billing counter made me give 1🌟, wish I could give minus 🌟 Fake promises and arrogant staff 😑😑

Hotel location is right near the Ellora cave. Both temple and cave are walkable. They have their own restaurant, best place to eat in this area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Cave facing room are worth if you love sitting outside or in balcony to enjoy it. Room were not very clean coz they were short of staff due to covid. All in all it’s worth the money you spent.

Didn't really know that I will have to write a review about the horrible waiter. The way the examine a girl from top to bottom is just embarrassing. Nothing would disgust you more than the way they look at you. We had gone for lunch and I asked for a water bottle and the waiter made me so uncomfortable that we left within minutes. You need to hire better people or else the day is not far away when people will not come.

I can’t rate the restaurant service as even 1 star because they don’t care about we people and when I had come to the restaurant there were many foreign visitors and all of these people had their full attention towards them. I had left the restaurant and around other 3 families also left the restaurant at the same time but even at that time they did not even ask what is the problem or anything(they looked at us while leaving). They did not even care to clear the table or give us water, people asked the waiters to ask the customers for the order but they never came

I went to the restaurant there and was very disappointed with service, food taste, quantity and price. It was exact opposite of what I was expecting. πŸ˜” Taste is average but quantity is very low to the price which they are charging. One might have to sit idle for sometime even to give order. Anyway location is good.

Unclean rooms, food was ok. Staff service was pathetic. Was shocked to see foreigners being troubled by local rickshawalla's and staff sitting and laughing. I wouldn't recommend anyone to step into this hell of a hotel considering that it uses God's name to do it's business.

The restaurant service is extremely bad. Literally one has to plead to the staff to get the ordered meal. Extremely unprofessional. Once you sit in the restaurant the staff isnt bothered about taking your order , asking if a bottle of water is required is a far thought. If u manage to give ur order cant be sure how long will it take. Seems like extreme staff issue & as of now only unprofessional staff is working .

It is a nice hotel with good rooms and views and close to the temple and caves but very expensive because they don't provide water bottles, no kettle, no breakfast at the price. Also, the restaurant food taste is below average and the quantity of vegetables is very leas. The rooms are far from the main gate but the cottages are okay. If you want to stay here then go for a room option or a cottage with a caves view.

Hotel Kailas is a great place to stay when visiting the Ellora caves. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the caves, making it an ideal choice for travelers who want to explore this historic site. The rooms at Hotel Kailas are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and modern amenities such as air conditioning, TV, and Wi-Fi. The hotel also offers a range of facilities for guests to enjoy, including a restaurant. The staff at Hotel Kailas are friendly and helpful, always willing to assist guests with any queries or requests. The hotel's restaurant serves delicious food, with a good selection of local and international dishes. Overall, I had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Kailas. The location, facilities, and service were all excellent, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ellora.

Cons - 1. Non-cottage rooms are at the end of their property along with lot of garbage, junk and stuff nearby. Very bad for their high prices. 2. OWNERS are EXTREMELY RUDE. They behave like they have built some Taj Mahal and are doing us a favour by letting us come there. 3. Worst staff and service. Pros - 1. Location is good because of proximity to Ellora and Ghrishneshwar. 2. Cottage rooms are good. 3. Ambiance is good. 4. Food is good. Better to stay in Aurangabad, there are so many amazing hotels at cheaper rate than this.

Neat and clean. Room service was up to the mark Well maintained lawns n gardens. This resort was located just 500m from Ellora caves. From resort garden we can have picturesque view of the ellora caves. Grishneswar Jyotirlinga temple was 1km from resort. Food prices were too costly.

One of the best places to stay near Ellora caves! Ellora caves is 1 min walk from here... Must visit place for someone who is planning Aurangabad trip

I have to agree to the mixed reviews here: There are some benefits like location right next to Ellora caves, nice and tasty restaurant, beautiful grounds with extensive gardens. However, the overall cleanliness has to be improved both in the rooms and the grounds. There is a lot of trash and clutter lying around. The non-AC rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. The bathroom is unacceptable in my opinion (old, smelly, broken). The place could be so much more, but there is so little competition in the area.

Very good location. Very welcoming staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. Very clean washroom. Wifi is however not working. Food is very fresh and tasty. However they should consider serving small portions ,as one full plate is more than sufficient for one person.

The place has the advantage of close proximity to ghrishmeshwar jyotirlinga temple and ellōra caves. Its just 5 to 8 minutes by walk to these places on either side.

Literally within touching distance of the temple as well as caves. Cost is on the higher side but since this is the only hotel with huge capacity, people prefer staying here. In house restaurant was extremely costly, so would not recommend to dine there. Rooms are okayish but huge. Recommended for a night stay.

Great Location nice and decent rooms we opted for Non AC rooms which were neat and clean. Not very happy about the service they offer in the restaurant although the food was decent.

Bad service... Since there are no many big restaurants they enjoy the privilege, Otherwise worst service... Concentrating on foreigners. Not showing interest on others.. Not interested to clear plates also....

It is one of the best located hotal for all those who want to visit Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga and Ellora caves. Grishneshwar temple is just 500 mtrs from the temple and Ellora caves at 2 mins walking distance. Good hotel with open garden and nature view. Food charges are bit costly.

Nice ambience, this property is located right infront of the ellora caves, and you can get a complete view of the caves from your room

Awesome location. Clean rooms but the toilet should have been cleaner. Beds were comfortable. Food was ok. A bit pricey, breakfast should have been included in the cost but it is not.

Great location but pathetic condition of rooms. It lacks even basic facilities such as no tap water in bathroom only shower, which is also non-functional. No other basic amenities. Seems management has no interest in maintaining the property. Humble and good staff trying to deliver their best with available resources. Mr. Santosh, Manager is an extraordinary person, willing to help and guide you for anything you need.
