Tasty food... Amazing quality... Great service with polite staff

Good restaurant great ambience and good location next to bhadkkal gate specially for non veg lovers fresh and tasty finger licking veg and non veg food a great variety of non veg available chicken mutton fish sea food is served with large potion size at reasonable price. Chicken biryani mutton biryani chicken Kentucky gravies like chicken zaika,chicken maharaja murg musallam, mutton kheema and fish fingers are my favourite dishes we get here . And their sweet dish qubani ka meetha is awesome and caramel custard is my son's favorite ,nice place to hang out with friends and family.

Visited a day before new year's eve. Location and Brand is already famous. One of the best cultured and flavoursome restaurant in Aurangabad. Tried Manchurian Prawns and Chicken Mandi this time. Both were really good. Mandi is not as traditional stock cooked but something different yet tasty. Gravy provided with Mandi is also delicious. Three people can easily have a half Mandi and still might left with some. Different types of sitting is available which is a plus. Edit: Second Visit. Ordered Papad, Manchow soup, Chicken Khaiber, different Rotis and Chicken Mandi. Manchow soup was good and Chicken Khaiber was spicy yet tasty. Mandi has become less spicy compared to last time. Bad Points: Service and waiter manner still needs to be improved. We were not allowed to light bday candle but people were smoking in family sitting. People waiting should also be maintained outside. People and waiter peeking inside Indian family sitting is not at all appreciated.

Good food and ambiance. The only thing they need to improve is that quick service.

I was in Aurangabad for the first time and a friend of mine suggested this restaurant. I was gladly satisfied. The food was too good and staff was very friendly along with the manager Azhar. The ambience was great as well. Whole experience was too good. Would definitely visit again.

This restaurant will never disappoint you. Try their authentic dishes such as Chicken Sagar special, chicken Aurangabadi, chicken Tikka and many more... Restaurant is mainly famous for it's Non vegetarian food but vegetarian food is also yummy.

If you are biryani lover and if you are in Aurangabad don't miss this place. Tried their both Chicken and mutton biryani, both tasted just perfect. Chicken kebab and tandoor were also good. We were in Aurangabad for 2 days and we had all our meals at this place. The taste of everything was so good that we didn't feel like trying any other place for the food. Try the Dastar Khwan experience in the basement. Avoid mutton but chicken options are great, consult the waiter to cross check with your taste preference in the gravy options. Chicken Biryani is fulfilling and great. Must have is the Qubani Ka Meetha dessert made with apricots with ice cream on top, we never miss it whenever we visit this place. Good restaurant. I recently had the unfortunate experience of trying the chicken kapsa at the great sagar restaurant, and I must say it was a total disappointment. The dish was described as a flavorful combination of spices and tender chicken, but what I received was an overly sweet mess that left me regretting my decision and feeling like I wasted my hard-earned money. Don’t even try unless you’re a kid.

Great Restaurant. Would recommend you ask the waiters for the taste that suits you the most and they would recommend dishes accordingly. Adhere to what they say. Biryani is a must try.

Masala papad was okay. Tried veg crispy:- worst ever (it contains only cauliflower ) Tandoori roti also very hard. Service very slow and bad one. I visited here because of rating only. No AC:- some one ask then they turn on it. #Bad experience Not good vibes. I think this is not for veg.

Okay place to have non veg Mughlai food. It quite busy restaurant. You may have to wait in queue for sometime. Food is okay, taste is okay, quantity is good, service is okay, as the restaurant is busy so you may have to wait for your order. Restaurant needs to maintain hygiene and cleanliness as two hairs were found in my chicken biryani. Otherwise restaurant is okay okay to try.

I told captain They took food Put it in another plate and got same food That was really disappointing Nor anything has done with it. Food is really tasty.. ambiance is really good but the waiters are not so polite, rude attitude they first see the customer is rich or middle class and then give service accordingly I didn’t like the staff, like they don’t care about customer .. except this everything is awesome..

I liked the biriyani here, both mutton and chicken biriyani was tasty ! The caramel custard was also delicious ! Famous biriyani and non veg restaurant in Aurangabad ! Worth visiting and value for money ! A little attention on hygiene would be appreciated, spoons were not cleaned properly, Paper Napkins came to rescue though !

Heard a lot about this great place, but was unfortunate to experience not so good food before Akhad. The waiting line was so huge and was expecting the good food. The startes serve 'platter' was good. But the chicken and egg biryani which is specialty of the place was so awful and served without masala, after questioning argument started and it was like this is what we serve and how we make it. We (relatives) have gone multiple times but taste has dropped drastically.

The non veg food was tasty, portions generous enough, but we found the chicken curry dish was oily despite us saying when ordering to use less of it. However it was all Very good value for money. Service was very friendly and attentive.

Great Sagar Restaurant is one of the most famous restaurants in Aurangabad. It is a great place for dine-in. It is usually quite busy in the evening. There are 2 floors with seating arrangement. In the basement there is a Dastarkhan. We were lucky to have our dinner in the dastarkhan due to unavailability of seats in the normal seating area. The food is very good in terms of quality, quantity and taste. A-one quality service was rendered despite a fully packed restaurant. Food was served within the stipulated time as promised during order. The place is famous for its non-veg delicacies but they serve vegetarian options also. Sea-food and Chinese dishes are also offered. Desserts are also available. "Qubani with vanilla ice cream" is a must try dish. The restaurant has ample parking space available. However the place is not wheel-chair accessible as one has to go through the stairs to the entrance.
