Very friendly staff, smiling, hepful and caring. Beautiful environment with trees flowers and... monkeys (Colobus and Velvet). Amazing swimming pool, Excellent food. I recommend this place.

Apart from the great service, a green nice location and trees and the home away from home feeling, alot has changed and gone down. 1. The water is not clean anymore. Management needs to work on this. 2. The doors and infrastructure therein rooms is wearing out. Some small time operation and maintenance is key 3. Let's have white towels. Makes it more executive. The rest is still great. God bless

It's a beautiful location, there is a remarkable stream and quaint waterfall. The trees and vegetation are all labelled with the local and botanical names. Given it's location, I can somewhat understand the 30+ minute delay on the food. Their menu at the restaurant paints extravagant expectations far from the reality. The staff also seem somewhat unprepared to do their jobs. I have yet to spend the night here but as of now, it is three stars for me.

Nice pleasant place nice environment. The food was ok nothing great, I expected better for the price and type of location. The swimming is fairly expensive at 15k considering I have been to many others similar or better facilities for 5-10k. And the showers had no water, had to wait for water and when it did come the pressure was very low, almost had to give up on showering. Hence only three stars given. Needs improvement.

On 20.acres of land, with many trees and a stream passing through, this is a secret place yet to be discovered. Friendly staff, nice food and well decorated rooms. Theres hot water too . And very large bathrooms.

Probably the best place in Hoima. Beautiful grounds on both sides of a wooded valley. Rooms very good size and clean. Evening meals in the two restaurants are very good. One of the best things (for me anyway) was the troop of Colobus monkeys that frequent the grounds. There seems to be a persistent issue of brown water from the taps. Others have commented on this on other sites

Probably the best Hotel in the Albertine Region.Staff are in uniform and friendly to customers.Always smiling and offering guidance before you even ask for it.Nature friendly environment with trees and sights of monkeys.Famous for kabalega caves.Very spacious,with special zones for smoking.Ample parking space,secure,swimming pool available for Adults and kids,massage,salon, cafeteria,buffet.The rooms are first class although the prices may not be so friendly to the ordinary person.

Miika Eco Resort is beyond a 5-star experience. The beauty, warmth and excellence of all the staff is out of this world. Everyone cared about everything! The grounds complete with a flowing stream are green (complete with in-depth definition of every tree) and immaculately maintained. The food is tasty. Kudos to the proprietor, directors, management and staff.

It’s a good spot to go for bird or monkey watching with in the Hotel’s mini forest. I specifically endorse the Pizza 🍕 experience, for once I got really tasty Pizza in Hoima and loved it. One thing to take note of while at Miika Eco is the fact that all trees are labeled with their botanical names and local names amd possible uses to mankind

This resort is a clear picture of living with Nature! Dear rich people, follow the example of this resort and stop draining our swamps, cutting our trees, chasing our primates, channelling our rivers, blocking caves among others. The reception guys are good right away from the security office. Spacious for parties and honey moon for those who mighty be interested. Photo shoots wow, I guess the best places to shoot are made from born here. The sounds from the birds, the primates as they move from one tree to another will blow away your mind. The sunset takes you back to reminisce your old days right from the day you saw your first sunset. The different stones making the walk ways 🥰🥰
