Haben spontan die aktuelle Ausstellung " Die Seereise" im Stadtmuseum Warleberger Hof besucht. Allein das denkmalgeschützte Gebäude aus dem 17. Jahrhundert beeindruckt durch sein prächtiges Sandsteinportal aus dem Jahre 1765, das selbst als ein Ausstellungsstück ein Hingucker und daher sehenswert ist. Als sehr eindrucksvoll empfanden wir auch das tolle Kellergewölbe, die Zisterne sowie die historischen Räumlichkeiten mit guterhaltenen und bemalten Stuckdecken, die schön verziert sind. Die aktuelle Ausstellung war sehr interessant, informativ und wirklich sehenswert. Wir waren von den tollen und alten Exponaten, Plakaten bzw.Werbebildern aus der Pasagierschifffahrt und des Kreuzfahrttourismus sowie von den ausgestellten stadt- und kulturgeschichtlichen Themen sehr begeistert. Als sehr positiv haben wir die Barrierefreiheit ( Aufzug) im ganzen Gebäude empfunden, konnten den Besuch wirklich genießen und das Beste, DIESE AUSSTELLUNG IST KOSTENFREI ZUGÄNGLICH👌😊 Ebenso möchten wir die sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Mitarbeiter lobend erwähnen. Es wird nicht unser letzter Besuch gewesen sein und schauen gern wieder vorbei.🥰

This clean museum is located in the city centre ( I guess - how I got there 🙈) There is a small bunker just in front of the entrance. The place wasn t crowded or overfilled as you may not enter with too many ppl (out of Covid19 reason) but neither was a queue outside. I spent about 45min, to an hour inside. Upstairs, you get heaps of information about Kiel during WWII. How much of Kiel got bombed and which building got rebuild. My favourite, most interesting part. Downstairs you will find more older- historical things. Has nothing to do with the world war. It is hard for me to explain, just take a look at the pics I will upload :) The lady at the counter is very friendly. You will get hand sanitizer at the entrance, also a toilet.
