For
migraines
and
/
or
cluster
headache
patients,
this
is
certainly
a
very
good
address
to
take
a
break
from
the
often
terrible
pain
cycle
and
to
learn
medicinal
therapy,
alternative
therapy
techniques
or
just
to
arrive
in
a
"safe"
environment
among
fellow
sufferers
and
refuel.
I
was
diagnosed
with
cluster
headache.
However,
I
have
spoken
to
the
doctor,
the
senior
physician
and
the
chief
physician
of
the
department
several
times
about
the
fact
that
I
do
not
think
I
have
cluster
headache,
but
my
headache
is
triggered
by
a
histamine
intolerance
(HIT),
which
can
be
caused
by
a
corresponding
diet
change,
etc.
can
get
a
good
grip
without
constantly
having
to
take
these
prevention
hammers
(hypotensive
drugs,
triptans,
etc.).
In
the
case
of
a
pure
cluster,
only
these
help
and
there
are
hardly
any
preventive
therapy
measures
that
really
help,
except
to
omit
the
medication
and
known
triggers.
A
check
with
regard
to
the
HIT
did
not
take
place,
especially
since
the
Pain
Clinic
Kiel
has
no
competence
in
it
either.
So
far
that's
not
bad.
The
only
thing
I
found
annoying
was
that
the
three
aforementioned
doctors,
in
several
conversations
with
1,
then
2
and
then
3
doctors,
felt
"persuaded"
to
me
in
my
room
that
HIT
"did
not
exist"
and
that
I
had
clusters.
I
was
told
that
if
I
didn't
take
the
blood
pressure
lowerers,
etc.,
I
couldn't
be
helped.
So
I
let
myself
be
persuaded
and
no
longer
tolerated
it
from
the
3rd
day
and
then
left
at
my
own
request.
In
the
meantime,
I
had
HIT
tested,
changed
my
diet
accordingly
and
actually
didn't
get
a
headache
in
the
hellish
extent
and
intensity
as
before.
It
has
now
been
11
months
between
my
stay
in
the
clinic
and
this
review,
so
I
can
really
say
that
it
was
not
a
cluster,
but
the
HIT,
just
the
absence
of
the
blatant
headache.
In
fact,
the
symptoms
of
headache
are
very
similar
in
appearance
and
intensity,
I
don't
blame
anyone
there.
What
I
have
to
blame,
however,
is
that
I
was
not
listened
to
and
my
considerations
and
excerpts
from
specialist
journals
were
not
taken
into
account,
but
simply
a
cluster
therapy
process
was
unrolled
here.
As
a
patient,
I
was
not
taken
seriously
with
regard
to
my
wish
to
find
out
the
cause
of
my
headache,
but
rather
simply
a
standardized
program
based
on
the
diagnosis
of
the
referring
doctor,
who
was
also
not
a
headache
specialist
but
my
family
doctor.
I
had
a
referral
to
the
Kiel
Pain
Clinic
because
I
wanted
a
specialist,
diagnostic
procedure
at
the
level
that
the
many
positive
reviews
gave
me
hope
for.
I
was
wrong.
Fortunately,
I'm
fine
now.
Although
in
my
case
the
desired
result
was
not
the
result
of
my
stay,
the
Pain
Clinic
Kiel
is
a
very
good
clinic
for
clear
migraine
patients,
at
least
in
the
case
of
migraines,
effective
non-drug
therapies
and
behaviors
are
trained.
For
cluster
patients,
therapy
is
limited
to
the
known
medicinal
standards,
although
it
can
be
of
great
help
to
initiate
and
adjust
them
in
the
clinical
setting
and
outside
of
everyday
life.
In
addition,
it
is
a
really
nice
clinic
that
does
not
look
like
a
hospital,
more
like
a
3-4
*
hotel.
However,
there
is
no
really
deeper
diagnostic
procedure.
(Original)
Für
Migräne
und/oder
Cluster
Kopfschmerz
Patienten
sicher
ein
sehr
gute
Adresse
um
aus
dem
oft
schrecklichen
Schmerzkreislauf
einmal
zu
pausieren
und
neben
der
medikamentösen
Therapie,
auch
alternative
Therapie-Techniken
zu
lernen
oder
einfach
auch
nur
mal
um
in
einer
"sicheren"
Umgebung
unter
Leidensgenossen
anzukommen
und
aufzutanken.
Ich
wurde
mit
der
Diagnose
Cluster
Kopfschmerz
aufgenommen.
Ich
habe
jedoch
mehrfach
mit
der
behandelten
Ärztin,
der
Oberärztin
und
dem
Chefarzt
der
Abteilung
darüber
gesprochen,
dass
ich
nicht
glaube
Cluster
Kopfschmerz
zu
haben,
sondern
meine
Kopfschmerzen
durch
eine
Histamin
Intoleranz
(HIT)
ausgelöst
werden,
welche
man
durch
eine
entsprechende
Nahrungsumstellung
usw.
ganz
gut
in
den
Griff
bekommen
kann,
ohne
ständig
diese
Präventions-Hämmer
(Blutdrucksenker,
Triptane,
etc.)
nehmen
zu
müssen.
Bei
reinem
Cluster
helfen
nämlich
ausschliesslich
diese
und
es
gibt
ansonsten
kaum
präventive
Therapie
Massnahme
die
wirklich
helfen,
ausser
den
Medikamentösen
und
bekannte
Auslöser
wegzulassen.
Ein
Überprüfung
hinsichtlich
der
HIT
fand
nicht
statt,
zumal
die
Schmerzklinik
Kiel
darin
auch
keine
Kompetenz
hat.
Das
ist
soweit
nicht
schlimm.
Ärgerlich
fand
ich
nur,
dass
mir
quasi
von
den
3
vorgenannten
Ärzten
in
mehreren
Gesprächen
mit
1,
dann
2
und
dann
3
Ärzten
jeweils
mit
mir
in
meinem
Zimmer
gefühlt
"eingeredet"
wurde,
dass
es
HIT
"nicht
gibt"
und
ich
Cluster
habe.
Mir
wurde
gesagt,
wenn
ich
die
Blutdruck
Senker
usw.
nicht
nehme,
man
mir
nicht
helfen
könne.
Ich
habe
mich
also
überreden
lassen
und
ab
dem
3
Tag
diese
nicht
mehr
vertragen
und
bin
dann
auf
eigenen
Wunsch
abgereist.
Zwischenzeitlich
habe
ich
mit
dann
auf
HIT
testen
lassen,
eine
entsprechende
Nahrungsumstellung
gemacht
und
tatsächlich
keine
Kopfschmerzen
in
dem
höllischen
Ausmass
und
Intensität
wie
vorher
mehr
bekommen.
Zwischen
meinem
Aufenthalt
in
der
Klinik
und
dieser
Rezension
sind
nunmehr
11
Monate
vergangen,
sodass
ich
wirklich
sagen
kann,
dass
es
kein
Cluster,
sondern
die
HIT
war,
eben
weg
dem
Ausbleiben
der
krassen
Kopfschmerzen.
Tatsächlich
ähneln
sich
die
Symptome
hinsichtlich
des
Kopfschmerzes
in
Auftreten
und
Intensität
sehr,
dass
mach
ich
dort
keinem
direkt
zum
Vorwurf.
Was
ich
aber
eindeutig
zum
Vorwurf
machen
muss,
ist,
dass
mir
weder
zugehört
wurde
noch
meine
dargelegten
Überlegungen
und
Auszüge
aus
Facharzt
Zeitschriften
berücksichtigt
wurden,
sondern
hier
einfach
nur
ein
Cluster
Therapie
Prozess
abgespult
wurde.
Ich
wurde
als
Patient
nicht
ernst
genommen
hinsichtlich
meinem
Wunsch
die
Ursache
meiner
Kopfschmerzen
zu
ergründen,
sondern
auf
Basis
der
Diagnose
des
überweisenden
Arztes,
der
zudem
gar
kein
Facharzt
für
Kopfschmerzen
war,
sondern
mein
Hausarzt,
einfach
ein
standardisiertes
Programm
abgespult.
Ich
habe
mich
zur
Schmerzklinik
Kiel
überweisen
lassen,
weil
ich
mir
eben
ein
fachärztliches,
diagnostisches
Verfahren
gewünscht
habe,
auf
dem
Niveau,
welches
die
vielen
positiven
Rezensionen
mich
hoffen
machten.
Da
lag
ich
falsch.
Glücklicherweise
geht
es
mir
mittlerweile
wieder
gut.
Wenn
auch
in
meinem
Fall
nicht
das
gewünschte
Ergebnis
die
Folge
meines
Aufenthaltes
war,
so
ist
die
Schmerzklinik
Kiel
für
eindeutige
Migräne
Patienten
eine
sehr
gute
Klinik,
bei
der
zumindest
bei
Migräne,
wirksame
nicht
medikamentöse
Therapien
und
auch
Verhaltensweisen
trainiert
werden.
Bei
Clusterpatienten
beschränkt
sich
die
Therapie
auf
die
bekannten
medikamentösen
Standards,
wenngleich
es
eine
große
Hilfe
sein
kann,
diese
im
Klinischen
Umfeld
und
ausserhalb
des
Alltags
einzuleiten
und
einzustellen.
Darüber
hinaus
ist
es
eine
wirklich
sehr
schöne
Klinik,
die
nicht
wie
ein
Krankenhaus
anmutet,
eher
wie
ein
3-4*
Hotel.
Ein
wirklich
tiefergehendes
diagnostisches
Verfahren
findet
jedoch
nicht
statt.
