Great one, very informative, you could easily spend three or four hours here if you want to read everything It closes early, I was just snapping and going to the next exhibit, weeks later I'm still reading and enjoying the pictures, ample descriptions in English are a big plus. Friendly staff that will stay out of your way and cheap ticket. At the time of my visit there was only one other person visiting the whole place. Not much of a tourist attraction but really great place

A great museum for pharmacist/pharmacy lovers but also for people of other professions. A great way to see the history of (Polish) pharmacy. It contains several flors of exibithon of old pharmacies with a lot of information. Including the live/dry herbarium on top floor. We had a guided tour and the lady really put an effort in explaining the exhibits.

Interesting collection of historical pharmaceutical equipment and preparations in a four-storey former home. Translation sheets available for each exhibit room. Nice break from the touristy main strip.

I wanted to visit and it should have been open. Yes, at the door the maintenance was indicated but it should be also indicated on the map. Also other places in other countries should be careful for it. If too many places are closed which should be open, the visitors will have a bad memory about the city or the country and that is not good for the tourism on the long run.

(Translated by Google) Do not miss the visit to this museum of the ancient pharmacy of 1940 one of the largest in Europe, at the time the point of reference of the ghetto in the center Krakow v, Florianska 25 called the Pharmacy of the Eagle, from outside the entrance has a white gate and always seems closed but entrances is open, (check times) the beautiful building is vintage inside atmosphere of other times in total silence and only women work there, on 5 floors you will see collectable pieces of history from the Middle Ages to today about 20,000 very strange objects, medicinal substances, containers, laboratory instruments still used, 45 mortars of all kinds, memories of well-known pharmacists etc. At the time the pharmacy was fundamental, helping the Jews of the ghetto with groceries, mail, false documents, money. They rebuilt the interiors of a pharmacy from the 1800s with the laboratory and a 14th century cellar with barrels and healing wines. Arriving in the attic on the fifth floor you are surrounded by a collection of various curative dried herbs. Really interesting in general given that so many tools and substances are still used today. (Translated by Google) I went to the museum quite by accident, the precedent was the museum open day organized annually in the fall. In the inconspicuous tenement house, as it turned out, there is apparently an interesting museum. From cellars to the attic, you can indulge in travel through the history of pharmacy. From the Middle Ages to modern times. The museum has many interesting and intriguing exhibits, from phenomenal prescriptions with bizarre shapes, compositions of old potions and herbalists, bizarre medicines and specifics including human fat through carefully made furniture of XIX pharmacies. One of the curiosities is the medical weight in the refined seat company. Each floor of the museum offers something interesting that is why not only pharmacy adepts will be happy to visit.

Fascinating! Many floors of unusual and historic ingredients and medicines, and assorted equipment through the ages. Went here once on a guided tour (which finished with some absinthe!) and then returned with my family a following year. Really worth a visit.

Don't miss it! It's in the center of the old city and it's worth a visit! It covers the history of pharmacy in Poland - Krakow. The cashier is very friendly, the place is very cheap. You need to leave your bags at the entrance. Sometimes the google maps say It's closed when it's really not, so pass by if you are nearby to make sure you don't miss it

Very interesting museum with some impressive exhibits however there was a distinct lack of labelling and many of the exhibits were much of the same thing rebated in different varieties. There was staff on hand to answer any questions however.

Today my son and I were, somewhat by accident, in an unusual museum for us, i.e. the Pharmacy Museum at ul. Floriańska. And we were delighted with this museum! First of all, you can see the entire old tenement house, from the well-preserved basement to the attic. Interesting layout of the rooms. Beautiful ceilings, etc. Secondly, an amazing exposure. Reconstructed interiors of pharmacies, many valuable exhibits, all well described. A nicely conducted tour showing that the roots of pharmacy go back to alchemy. We left delighted. We highly recommend it! The service ladies are very nice.

The English written information is not well written and might be due to translation errors, couldnt google search some info that was interesting. I am interested in this field of stuff, and I think most people should be entering this place. However, I had way to high expectations.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful historical pharmacy museum, divided into several levels: from the workshop where all the oils were prepared, greases, pills, waxes, etc., to the herbarium in the attic with all the botanical species present and their treatment method, passing through gi historical furnishings of the best krakow pharmacies. The only flaw is that the women who work there do not speak English .... despite their income comes from tourists who only speak English.

Numerous real exhibits allow you to imagine what former pharmacies looked like, preparing medicines, etc. Outerwear and any "bundles" should be left in the cloakroom.
